You may have received a mailer from a charity before with a small gift inside, such as a pack of address labels or maybe even a nickel. It’s often a way to coax you into donating. You get a gift worth pennies and the charity gets a donation worth much more than that. It’s said that more than 60% of non-profits dangle a reward for giving! That’s a lot.
So, the question today is who is giving away those freebies, particularly free address labels?
If this is something you’re interested in receiving, then you’re in luck as there are quite a few charities that offer this sort of gift. All I ask is that you request the address labels only if you intend on supporting the charity. Other than that, you’re just wasting their time.
As always, every company I’m going to list is 100% legit and will send you a free pack of address labels as long as you live in the United States.
Where Can I Get Free Address Labels?
Now, before I list the companies that hand out free address labels, what you’re going to find out is that you will have to add your name to a mailing list in order to receive these labels in the future. There’s no guarantee you will receive them, but from my research, there’s a good chance they will send some out within the next six months or so. Remember, you must have the intention to donate!
With that being said, follow the links below and add your name, as well as your address, to their mailing list to potentially receive free address labels. If you don’t see a mailing list option, then reach out to them via email to see if they have any mailing lists available.
- American Heart Association
- The American Legion
- Arbor Day Foundation
- Best Friends Animal Society
- Boys Town
- Christian Appalachian Society
- Disabled American Veterans (one of the first charities to ever do this and still send out to this day)
- Feed the Children
- Helen Keller Foundation
- Humane Society of the United States
- Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- March of Dimes
- Moffit Cancer Center
- National Foundation for Cancer Research Free Address Labels
- Paralyzed Veterans of America
- Salesian Missions
- SPCA International
- Susan G. Komen
- Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
Unfortunately, there isn’t a charity where you can enter your address and they will send out address labels within a few days. It just doesn’t work that way. Instead, what you will have to do is either donate or add your name to a list to show interest. Just be forewarned that if you do so, these companies will bombard you with a lot of mailers and emails, especially if you donate a few bucks.
That’s going to do it for now.
