Other Apps Like Earnin to Get Cash Instantly

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

The Earnin app is a highly-rated app that pays you up to $100 a day as long as you connect your bank account.  Of course, you have to pay it back, but it’s a great app if you’re in a bind and you need the cash fast.  They have more than one million members are as legit as a company can get.

Whether you have been using the Earnin app for some time or maybe you’re looking for apps that pay you quickly, I wanted to talk about a few of the best apps that work just like Earnin.  There are a few of them, all of which I will talk about below.  As always, I’m 100% honest and would never recommend an app I wouldn’t use myself.

Other Apps Like Earnin

NOTE:  There are other apps that work like Earnin but your employer needs to be part of the program.  Be sure to talk with your employer (usually fast food or retail) to see if they participate in anything like this.

FloatMe [up to $50]

4.6/5 rating w/ 10,000+ reviews

Floatme offers a cash advance up to $50, a pinch less than Earnin, but it’s an instant paying app, nonetheless.  Just connect your bank account and tell the company where you work.  From there, the app will immediately let you use the personal articles, manage your finances, see your overdraft risk, and access your wages early.

This is a 0% interest cash advance, but they do charge a small $1.99 monthly fee to use the app.  However, the first 30 days are free if you want to check it out.  This could come in handy if you only want to use the app for a month.

The app works with more than 10,000 banks and uses bank-grade 265-bit encryption.  They do not work with Chime, Varo, or prepaid cards, however.

Klover [up to $150]

4.5/5 rating w/ 15,500 reviews

Klover offers up to $150 as an instant cash advance.  There are no credit checks and no interest.  Just simply sign up and start borrowing money that day.

During the sign-up process, Klover will ask you to link your bank account as well as verify your paycheck.  During this setup, they do not ask to check your credit.  Then, opt-in to their data agreement and you’re good to go.

Aside from accessing cash fast, you can also earn points to earn cash boosts, such as scanning receipts, saving your money or even checking your spending.  Klover does have a $1.99 a month fee.

Dave [up to $200]

4.6/5 rating w/ 380,000 reviews

Dave will help you improve your financial health with its breakthrough financial tools, including a checking account with no minimum deposit required.  It’s easy to sign up, and in doing so, you can access an instant $100 advance.

If you choose to add direct deposits totaling more than $1,000 to your Dave account, you can get paid up to two days early and take out up to $200 at once.

Dave only costs $1 a month and charges 0% interest.  You can tip as well if you choose to do so.  This is optional, however.

Out of all the options I mention, they have the most reviews.

Albert [up to $250]

4.1/5 rating w/ 27,000 reviews

Albert has more than five million banking members, and it’s one that works similar to that of the Dave app mentioned prior.

Albert can spot you up to $250 with no credit check, no interest and no late fees.  You just need to repay it back on payday.

If you were to use the instant pay feature, it does cost $4.99 to deliver; however, you can get your advance within three days and pay no delivery or repayment fees.

Possible Finance [up to $500]

4.7/5 rating w/ 36,000 reviews

Possible Finance is a fast and affordable app that allows you to borrow up to $500 in as little as a few minutes, even if you have bad or no credit.  They don’t check your credit; they only look at your checking account once you link it.  You can either repay in installments to rebuild your credit or to help improve your financial situation.

To apply, you will do so similar to that of a loan application.  Once approved, the money can then be sent to your debit card so that you have immediate access.  What makes this app unique is that your installment loan will help build your credit since they do report to TransUnion and Experian.  They also offer flexible repayment options.

Right now, the app is limited to a few states and the fees will be dependent on your loan rate.

Cleo [up to $100]

4.3/5 rating w/ 23,000 reviews

Cleo was once voted as both the best budgeting app and money management app. And, it’s one that allows you to track your spending, save your money and meet your goals.  Also, if you need $100 to get payday, then they can give you a cash advance, up to $100, interest free.

Other features include saving money automatically based on what you can afford, credit score tools, cashback rewards and weekly money games, to name a few.

All money is held in FDIC-insured accounts and will cost $5.99 to get a cash advance if interested.

Brigit [up to $250]

4.5/5 rating w/50,000 reviews

Whenever you need up to $250, Brigit can help you out.  There’s no credit check nor do they charge interest.  Best of all, you can apply and access funds in as little as 60 seconds.

To get started, connect your bank (they work with more than 15,000) and choose a plan.  They do have a basic free plan, however, if you want instant access to your funds, you will have to pay a flat $9.99 monthly fee.  This is much higher than the apps mentioned here.  Even though the fees are higher, they do have some of the highest downloads and ratings in this industry.

The app features auto advances to avoid overdraft fees, overdraft predictions, balance alerts and multiple repayment options.

MoneyLion

4.4/5 rating w/ 50,000 reviews

MoneyLion is a bit different, but I wanted to mention it as they can offer up to $1,000 instantly. However, in order to access these funds, you will need to set up two recurring direct deposits to your “RoarMoney” bank account.  In doing so, this will unlock $1,000 0% APR cash advances.    The amount you’re eligible for will be displayed on your dashboard and will be dependent upon your direct deposits, account transaction history, and other factors.

They consider themselves as a “financial company,” not a bank and they want you to think of it as being a “one-stop financial solution.”  Aside from offering cash advances, you can use it as a bank account as well as access a fully managed auto-invest feature.

When you can access the “Instacash” feature, there are “Turbo Fees,” which is about $4.99.

Empower [up to $250]

4.4/5 rating w/ 14,000 reviews

With the Empower card, you can score up to a $250 cash advance and get paid up to two days quicker if you use the direct deposit feature.  There’s no interest, no fees nor do they do a credit check.  However, there is a small fee, about $8.99 a month to access the full suite of tools.

Aside from the cash advance feature, Empower offers up to 10% cashback at the places you already shop as well as free ATM withdrawals.

It’s one that’s recommended by many popular money bloggers, but I’m not sure if this review was swayed due to getting paid.  Who knows?

Final Thoughts

There aren’t too many apps that work like Earnin, but there are some, as you can see.

Before you sign up for any of these apps, be sure to be aware of the fees and how the app work since all of them work differently.  While all of these apps I mentioned are 100% legitimate, they do have some fees of sorts, so the instant cash advance won’t be free, unfortunately.

This is going to it for now.

As always, check out the website for the many more guides on ways to make and save money as well as my YouTube channel.  I continue to add as much content as I can.
