So, have you ever wondered if you can genuinely make a good chunk of cash by completing tasks on a website called Time Social? I was curious, too.

Basically, Time Social claims to be one of those sites where you get paid to do tasks. It sounds familiar if you’ve tried survey sites before. The initial sign-up is free, and they say they’ll even throw in a $45 bonus just for joining. Now, that’s a lot more than most sites offer, and I couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow at that.

First things first, once you sign up and explore, they mention you can earn up to a whopping $110 for each offer. If that’s true, everyone would be on it, right? But it sounded too good, and for me, alarm bells started ringing.

So, in today’s review, I checked out TimeSocial and reported back as to what I found.  As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

What is TimeSocial?

Let’s start with the basics.

TimeSocial is a platform that anyone can join for free, promising payment for completing small tasks. It’s marketed as a “get paid to” site but with unusually high rewards. I was even offered $45 just for signing up, which immediately raised some suspicions.

According to the site, TimeSocial offers an intuitive way for individuals to earn online. Earning potentials on TimeSocial are varied and diverse, from referring friends and testing apps to sharing on social platforms or taking concise opinion surveys. Once you earn enough, earnings can then be conveniently withdrawn through various platforms including PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, and Zelle.

What sets TimeSocial apart, at least according to them, is its multitude of earning methods, with the possibilities to earn up to $18 an hour based on user activity. They boast some of the industry’s highest payouts, with some offers yielding up to $100, social media posts rewarding up to $50, and referral bonuses reaching $20.

This all sounds great, but as that old saying goes, all of what you read here is a sham.  Let me explain.

How it Works

When you explore their site after you sign up, you will see offers like earning up to $110 per task. However, I noticed that despite their promises, I didn’t have any available offers. It’s unusual, considering genuine “get paid to” sites typically always have offers. And while they advertise $45+ for a survey, it’s actually more of a promotional pitch than an actual survey.  Some of these surveys offer a lot, but here’s the catch: it’s not a quick process. You will be redirected to a third-party site, and it might take days, or even up to two months, to complete everything required. By the time you’re done, you’ll need to wait for their team to verify your details, which can take another week. That’s a lot of waiting for that money, and I’m not even sure if it’s guaranteed at the end.

This is yet another warning sign.

Mainly, TimeSocial also encourages you to promote their platform on social media, offering $92 for a TikTok post, $92 for Snapchat, $40 for a Facebook post, and $42 for a YouTube video. This is why you might see a lot of content about TimeSocial online. But just because many are promoting it doesn’t mean they’ve been paid.

As you can imagine, getting paid $40+ to promote a product is crazy.  I have never, in the history of reviewing these sites, have seen a payout that high.  It’s not going to happen.

And then there’s the referral system.

You supposedly get $20 for every person you introduce to the site. On top of that, every click on your referral link earns you $2, and if your referred buddy completes offers, there’s an extra $25 bonus. Sounds tempting, but considering the effort and time, is it really worth dragging your friends into it?  No.

Payout Details

Their payout conditions are another point of concern.

You need to earn a whopping $150 before cashing out. Typically, legitimate sites let you withdraw with as little as $1 to $10 in earnings. Anything more than that is a red flag. They also require a certain number of referrals before payout, a tactic not seen on genuine sites. This “invite others first” method is suspicious. They claim this is to counteract fraud, but this doesn’t truly make sense.

Even if you reach that $150, which I don’t recommend, they don’t pay anyways.  If you don’t believe me, check out the many reviews online that state the same.

Plus, their site displays payment proofs with dates prior to the actual creation of their website. This makes these proofs unreliable and dubious.

Final Thoughts

The promise of significant earnings is misleading, and there’s a high chance you won’t receive payment. If you’ve invited others to join, it’s only fair to inform them about the potential pitfalls. Instead, if you’re keen on genuinely making some money online, I’d recommend other trustworthy platforms that may not promise the sky but are sincere in their offerings.  This can include Swagbucks and Superpay.me to name a few.  Again, you won’t get rich, but you can make a few dollars.
