If you live in Australia, let it be known that there are a lot of legitimate paid survey sites that can make you some okay side money. No, you won’t get rich, but I have found it as a nice way to earn $50 to $200+ a month. It just all depends on how hard you work at it as well as which companies you sign up for. Yes, there are a lot of duds out there. You just need to know which ones you should avoid.
In today’s guide, all of the survey sites mentioned below are open to Australian residents as well as other countries, too. However, I wanted to create this guide solely for Australian users only. If you don’t live in Australia, some options may work for you, but I recommend you skip out on this guide and visit my specific surveys sub-category.
As always, all companies mentioned below are 100% legitimate and will pay out.
Let’s begin!
Best Paid Online Surveys for Money in Australia
Swagbucks
Swagbucks is probably one of the most well known websites on this list. And, in the past, they were known to be open to U.S. residents only, but this has since changed. With the power of Swagbucks, they work with so many providers, which simply means you will find some of the most unique opportunities as well as some of the highest. I use Swagbucks all of the time and usually average close to $100 per month. Follow the link below for a $5 sign-up bonus.

Superpay.me
Superpay.me is one of my favorite survey sites and it’s the reason I’m putting it near the top. What I like about this website is that it’s open to users worldwide and they work with so many reputable third-party survey providers, which means a lot of earning opportunities. In addition to the surveys, you can also earn in other ways, such as completing offerings, partaking in free contests and much more. You only need $1 in rewards to cash out and they even offer an instant PayPal option.

Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is open to three countries, Australia being one of them. The cool thing about Survey Junkie is that they focus solely on surveys and nothing else. It’s very easy to use, whether you do so on your phone or desktop. Simply find a survey of interest and complete it to earn your rewards. You do need at least $5 in points, which shouldn’t take you too long to do. Payments are sent to your PayPal account.

Freecash
Freecash is one that has started to advertise quite aggressively. It’s more of a GPT website, but you can find a lot of opportunities if you reside in Australia. The cool thing about this website is that you can get paid once you hit $0.10 in rewards. Yes, that’s $0.10, making it one of the lowest thresholds in the industry. From surveys to contests, offers and more, you should be able to stay busy for quite some time.
- Website: Freecash
Featurepoints
Featurepoints works both on your mobile phone as well as your desktop. Whichever option you choose, you can earn via surveys, offers as well as app downloads. The payout threshold is very low at $3 and you can choose from rewards such as Bitcoin, gift cards and even PayPal. Of course, 100% free to join.
- Website: Featurepoints
GrabPoints
GrabPoints has several ways to earn just like Freecash and Swagbucks already mentioned. They claim to have some of the highest payout rates in the industry, which is true for some offers, but in my review, I didn’t find it to be 100% accurate all of the time. The nice thing about GrabPoints is that they only require $5 in rewards to cash out and they offer a ton of reward options to choose from, including PayPal and gift cards.
- Website: GrabPoints
Ipsos MyView
Ipsos MyView simply awards you with reward points whenever you take surveys. Working in more than 100 countries, Australia included, there are a lot of interesting surveys to keep you busy. I wouldn’t say it’s as busy as Swagbucks, per se, but I would put it near the top. Choose from a variety of gift cards once you hit $20 in rewards.

instaGC
instaGC is open to users worldwide, and as the name notes, you can get paid instantly with your rewards. Redemptions only start at $1, which is nice if you need a few bucks within the next day or two. And, you can choose from so many rewards, from PayPal to a variety of gift cards. This GPT site, like a few mentioned here, has a few ways to earn, from surveys to offers and even app downloads.

LiveTribe
LiveTribe is catered more toward Australian and New Zealand members. Aside from your typical surveys, they offer forums to talk with other members as well as a competition where you can win up to $5,000. MOBROG offers a very low threshold of $4 and you can choose from a variety of rewards, including PayPal.

Octopus Group
The Octopus Group has a survey panel designed solely for Australian users and is considered to be one of the biggest survey panels in the country. Last year alone, members earned more than $4.3 million in rewards. Simply join the panel, wait for a survey invite and then answer the survey questions to get rewarded. Once you earn at least $20 in rewards, you can have the money transferred to your bank account. Yes, it’s a higher than average threshold, but I have found that their hourly rate is much higher than the industry standard.

OpinionWorld Australia
OpinionWorld is another reputable panel that offers surveys solely for Australian members. The company notes that it pays out more than $470,000+ per month to the community, sending out more than two million surveys. It’s one of the largest on the list. The company is open to all English speaking countries, including Australia and has been around for quite some time. It’s very easy to use and you can get started in as little as a few minutes. You will need at least $15 to cash out.

PrizeRebel
PrizeRebel offers a ton of ways to earn, mainly surveys and offers, but what I like is that they work with a ton of reputable third-party offerwalls, all of which you can find in one place. The website is easy to use and collecting points is easier than ever. If you do sign up, however, just make sure you fill out your profile in its entirety so that you receive as many targeted offers as possible. Payments are made via PayPal or various vouchers.

Surveyeah
Surveyeah doesn’t have the most survey invites, but I wanted to include it on the list as it’s another option to consider. Yes, they are legit, and yes, they will pay if you meet the minimum at $17. This threshold is higher than most, but it can be met if you act fast on survey invites. All survey invites will be sent to your email, so it’s best to keep tabs on your inbox to see if any of these invites are worth your time.
- Website: Surveyeah
TGM Panel
The TGM Panel works in more than 80+ countries, including Australia. This is a very trustworthy platform that offers mainly surveys in a variety of industries, some of which pay close to $5. And, even if you disqualify, you get paid. Choose from a variety of rewards, from PayPal to GCodes, which are gift cards that can work at a ton of retailers. You need at least $10 in rewards to start the cash out process.
- Website: TGM Panel
Timebucks
Timebucks is a lot like Freecash, wherein you can partake in a variety of ways to make money, from surveys to offers. They also have unique offers that no other websites have, such as doing social media tasks. They are open to Australia members as well as other countries. Once you hit $10 in rewards, you can choose from a myriad of rewards, from Bitcoin to a simple bank transfer.
- Website: Timebucks
Toluna
Toluna Rewards also has a panel designed solely for Australian members, and I find it to be one of the better ones as the surveys are much more interactive than most. This is another large company that works with many prominent brands and offers a fair number of surveys. To cash out, you will need at least $10 in points (30,000), with the average survey paying anywhere from 20 to 50,000 points.
- Website: Toluna
Univox
Univox is also accessible to Australian users and offers an easy-to-use app so that you can earn while you’re on the go. The unique thing about the site is that they have a loyalty level type system, where you can unlock higher payouts the more you use the site. 100 points are worth $1 and you will need at least $25 to cash out for a reward. It’s higher than most sites, sure, but you will find that the site has a decent number of surveys, so it shouldn’t take long to meet this threshold. Follow the link below for a free $2 instant bonus.

Valued Opinions
Valued Opinions is one of the higher rated survey sites on this list, and it’s for a good reason. Surveys pay out about $1 to $5, on average, and you can choose from a variety of gift cards once you hit $10 in rewards. Plan on making $10 to $20 per month with minimal effort.
- Website: Valued Opinions
YouGov
YouGov is fun in that it’s much different than your traditional survey site. What I like about the site is that they offer surveys that revolve around current events and your answers can help with media research. Think about the polls you often see in the newspaper, news, etc. The payout threshold is quite high compared to most at 5,000 ($50), but I found it takes about six months or so to reach this threshold. Just keep your eyes open whenever you check your email as this is where most invites come from.

Final Thoughts
If you live in Australia, there are a ton of options, as you can see. The neat thing about this list is that you can sign up for as many survey sites as you want to. In fact, I encourage it as it will only increase your earnings. Again, you won’t get rich, but with very little effort, you can easily earn $20 or so per week, sometimes much more.
All of the companies I mentioned above are, indeed, 100% legitimate and will pay out once you hit the minimum threshold. Give a few a shot and see which one works best for you. The number of surveys you receive will be greatly dependent on your demographics, please keep that in mind.
That’s going to wrap it up.
