The “Bounty – Do Survey, Earn Money” has more than 1,000,000+ downloads with a mediocre 4/5 rating.   The app claims that you can share your thoughts with fun surveys and earn money.  Yes, it’s one of the many survey apps on the market, but is this one to consider downloading?

In this review, I will explore what the app is about, what you can make, and as always, if it’s worth your time.  As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Getting Started

To start earning money, you can do so either by connecting your Google or Facebook account.  These are the only options at the moment, but it could change in the future.

Aside from this, you will also have to verify your phone number, which some survey companies ask you to do to prove your identity.  I tried to use my VOIP number, but it doesn’t appear they accept it, so I had to use my cellphone, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Once you verify your phone number, you will have to fill out some simple demographic information to access your dashboard.

Earning Money with a Bounty

How you’re going to earn money is through what’s known as a bounty.  These bounties will allow you to earn cash in your area while you’re going to go.

From what I saw in my experience, tasks will vary, but with each task, you will earn a certain amount depending on the complexity of the task.

If you have ever used an app like Field Agent, it will work just like it, but I have found this app is not nearly as popular.  To put it bluntly, I had the app for more than a week, and I didn’t see anything while I had it.  This seemed to be a problem with reviews on Google Play as well.

What Can You Make?

The app notes that the tasks will depend on the complexity, but most will only be a few dollars.  How much you make will depend on this task and where you live.

Remember, since you will have to be on the go to trigger these “bounties,” your results can vary.  If you go out of the house much more than, say, another user, then you could see more opportunities.

Even if you see tasks, it won’t be much.  I’m talking a few dollars a month, if that.

Getting Paid

Once you have at least $10 in rewards, you can cash out via PayPal.  However, before you get excited, let it be known that the most recent reviews on the official Google Play Store note that they didn’t get paid.  I read a few recent reviews that said they requested a payment, but they didn’t hear back for months.

I will change this if things change, but for now, you may be waiting a long time if you reach your payout threshold.

I went ahead and skimmed the Google Play Store and this is what I found users talking about:

Final Thoughts

3/10In the end, I won’t be downloading the Bounty app, mainly because it doesn’t seem it’s all that active.  Even if you download it, they don’t seem to send out much, so you’re just wasting phone space.  Even if you reach your minimum payout, who knows how long it will take them to pay you?

While the company has more than 1,000,000 downloads, the reviews speak for themselves.  There are much better ways to make money on your phone than this.
