It may sound odd at first, but did you know that you can get paid to cuddle?  And, no, there’s no funny business involved, I can assure you that much.  It’s simply cuddling, or as some say it, snuggling.

What exactly is a professional cuddler?

Simply put, they are people who snuggle with someone, effectively proven as a way of therapy.  When we cuddle, oxytocin is released, which can help increase positivity and help our immune system. In turn, this can improve our mental state.

In today’s post, I wanted to talk about the many ways you can get paid to simply cuddle.  Just nuzzle up next to someone for a few minutes, an hour or for however long you agree to, and walk away with a paycheck.  It may net you $40+ per hour, sometimes much more.  In most cases, you get to set your rates.  And, the great thing about it is that it’s open to all ages and races.

If this sounds like something of interest, then let’s dive in and see how you can do it right now.

As always, I’m 100% honest, so the websites/companies I’m about to mention are, indeed, 100% legit.

Get Paid to Cuddle

Listed below are a few of the most popular websites that can help you connect with people in your area who want to cuddle.  In most cases, you will have to fill out a bio, a picture and then wait for messages to come to your inbox.  It will be up to you to negotiate the rates, time you want to meet up, etc.

Let’s start with one of the biggest companies in the industry —

On this website, you can sign up to become a professional cuddler (it only takes 30 seconds).  You will create a profile of sorts, where you will attach your picture and a brief description.  Picture it as a dating site of sorts, only that there’s no dating involved.

The company asks that you can be affectionate to anyone, no matter the rage, age (legal), gender or sexual orientation.  You must also agree to the Cuddle Contract, which basically states that you should perform services as noted.

Once live, then people will message you and arrange a cuddling date.  You can set the meeting time, place, etc, so you’re in control.  Once agreed upon, just meet up and cuddle in a pressure-free environment.  That’s it!

If you do find a client, the website does take 1% off the total session cost and rates must start at $40+ per hour, so that means you can average at least.  You get to set your rates as you’re considered an independent contractor.

Cuddle Companions

Cuddle Companions is similar to that of CuddleComfort, only that I didn’t find it to be as popular.  The nice thing about the website is that you view profiles before you even sign up, which can be a perk to some.

To become a cuddler, they ask that you fill out an application and then wait to be approved with log-in information.  Once approved, you will have to create a profile with a photo, bio and what kind of “cuddling” services you offer.  For example, you can hold “long overnight” cuddles or by the hour.  Some even offer the opportunity to travel.  This is quite standard among most of these sites.

After your bio goes live, you will then be able to message clients and confirm bookings using the site’s messaging system.  You get to set your rates and what you’re available to do.

Check out the bios on the website to see what other people are offering to get a better idea as to what’s selling.

Certified Cuddlers

Certified Cuddlers was created by Samantha Hess, a professional cuddler with more than 3,400+ hours of experience.

If you’re interested in being listed on the site, they offer a hands-on training approach, where you can learn the art of the industry.  It combines more than 70 hours of information, from a business overview to red flags to look out for.  I highly recommend you look into this program if you’re serious about the profession.

While there’s no guarantee you can be listed, it’s a website nonetheless.  Consider the training and then reach out to the website owners to see how you can get listed.

Become a Cuddlist via  All you have to do is enroll in the training program, which costs $149 and then meet the minimum requirements.  Once you do, you can market yourself as a “trained” Cuddlist and can list your profile.  Even after the training, the company charges a $39.99/monthly fee to stay active.

While this isn’t a coveted organization/brand, I always try to list as many options as possible.  It will cost you a bit as an investment, but seeing many people aren’t posted on the site, it could be great for the marketing exposure, depending on where you live.

Final Thoughts

Since you get to set your rates, you can make as much as you want.  Of course, there needs to be a demand, but I have found the sweet spot to be in the $40 to $80 per hour range.  Like any business, if you’re good at marketing yourself, the sky is your limit, no doubt.

As yet another side hustle to consider, check out the few sites I mentioned above and start creating a bio and don’t forget to add your pictures.  If you’re serious enough, consider creating a local website so that people can find you with a simple local Google search.

That does it for now.

As always, check out the website for hundreds of ways to make money and be smart with it.  I also have a YouTube channel with a ton of videos.  I’m always honest and like to be straight to the point.
