Have you ever thought about making some extra money by testing websites and apps? That’s exactly what you can do with Ferpection.
Ferpection is an online platform that rewards people for being testers. I have mentioned it a few times, such as my sites like Usertesting guide and how to make money testing apps. I try to review as many companies as possible, and I decided to review Ferpection today.
In simple terms, Ferpection is a website where you can earn rewards by testing out stuff. But there’s more to it. Ferpection also plays a crucial role in the world of market research. They help brands and companies gather valuable insights, which means your input as a tester is actually helping shape products and services.
With so many money-making online opportunities, you might wonder, “Is this for real? Can I actually make money, or is it just another internet scam?”
Well, I’m here to clear that up for you.
Ferpection is definitely not a scam. That’s the first thing you should know. However, whether or not you should jump right in and sign up is another question. You see, it’s not just about signing up and starting to make money. Rather, it’s about whether this platform is the right fit for you and if it’s worth your time.
The earning process is pretty straightforward, but the real deal is understanding its earning potential. Is it just pocket money, or can you expect more? That’s something we need to look at closely. After all, you want to make sure your time and effort are going towards something worthwhile.
In today’s review, as in all of my reviews, let’s see what the company has to offer. As always, I’m 100% honest and straight to the point. Let’s begin!
Joining
At first glance, their registration form suggests a global reach, inviting people from all around the world. The sign-up process itself is pretty straightforward, although it might take a bit of your time.
During registration, you get to pick your country from a list. This might make you think anyone can join Ferpection from anywhere, but, there’s a twist. Just because you can choose any country doesn’t guarantee you’ll successfully sign up. If Ferpection doesn’t have missions in your country, you will know right away. The registration will stop if your country isn’t on their mission list. You first enter your email, then pick your country, only to find out if you can join or not.
For those lucky enough to be in countries with available missions, like the UK or the US, there’s an additional step. You get to experience a sample mission. Think of it as a sneak peek into what Ferpection offers. Completing this trial mission is your ticket to becoming a tester on the platform.
For the time you invested during the signing up, Ferpection rewards you with a £2, $2, or €2 bonus once your trial mission is approved. Considering the time it takes to complete the registration, this bonus feels like a nice little reward.
You need to be at least 16 years old to be a tester.
Earning Money with Ferpection
After signing up, you can start earning money be what they call “missions.” These aren’t your typical spy movie tasks, though. Missions here are more about helping brands and companies improve their websites and apps.
So, what does a mission involve?
It’s quite straightforward. You get a task, usually involving testing a website or an app, and provide your honest feedback. The cool thing is that you’re rewarded for each completed mission. Think of it as your chance to influence how websites and apps work while getting paid for it.
When you pick a mission, the first thing to do is read the instructions carefully. These are your guide to ensuring you do the task right and get that reward at the end. Paying attention to these details is crucial because, let’s face it, we all want to make sure our efforts are rewarded. If you fail to read the instructions, then you put your earnings at risk.
Now, the feedback part.
It’s not just about saying what you like or don’t like. You will need to be a bit tech-savvy here. For example, you will often need to take screenshots of the website or app you’re testing. It’s a good idea to have a handy screenshot tool. It makes your job easier and shows you’re serious about the task.
Once you’re done with the mission, your report goes to a community manager for review. If they give it the thumbs up, that’s when you receive your reward. It’s important to remember that the reward only comes after your work is approved. So, put in your best effort to make sure it meets the mark. Again, as long as you read the directions, you shouldn’t have a problem getting approved.
Missions on Ferpection are a unique way to earn money, different from the usual paid surveys. It’s fun, engaging, and you get to have a say in how digital products are shaped.
How Much Can You Make?
Your potential income here greatly depends on the number of missions that are available. The more missions you complete, the more you can make.
Each mission offers a payout – typically around £5 to £25. That’s quite reasonable for the effort you put in. Plus, there’s a little perk when you join – a welcome bonus of about £2 or €2, giving you a nice little boost to start.
What you earn per task varies, influenced by how complex the task is. But don’t worry, Ferpection makes sure you know the pay upfront. This way, you have the freedom to pick tasks that you feel offer fair compensation for your time and effort.
However, one thing to keep in mind is the frequency of available missions. This aspect can be a bit unpredictable. It tends to depend on where you’re located. For example, since Ferpection mainly operates with Sterling Pounds, there’s a good chance that most missions will be centered around the UK. But don’t lose hope if you’re not in the UK, as there are definitely missions available from other countries too.
Simply put, your earning potential on Ferpection is closely tied to your location. If you’re in a region with a steady flow of missions – like the UK, parts of Europe, or the US – you’re in a great position to earn something, but from what I read, it isn’t all that much. Don’t expect to get rich, but instead, maybe a few dollars here and there.
Getting Paid
Let’s talk about getting paid. And, here’s how it works.
When you complete missions, you earn money in either Sterling Pounds or Euros, based on where you live. This money will show up in your Ferpection account. Think of it as your little online piggy bank that fills up as you work on missions.
Ferpection transfers your earnings to your PayPal account at the end of each month. This usually happens on the last Friday or the very last day of the month. But there’s a catch in that you need to have at least £20 or €20 in your account to trigger the transfer. If your balance is below this threshold, your earnings roll over to the next month.
Keeping an eye on your earnings is easy. Just go over to your profile and check out your mission history. It gives you a clear view of how much you’ve earned. Remember to ensure your PayPal email address is correct in your Ferpection profile.
Ferpection also offers a bit of flexibility with how you receive your earnings if you don’t want cash. For example, if you want, you can convert your earnings into Amazon gift cards instead of cash. These are emailed to you at the end of each month, just like the PayPal transfers.
From my perspective, Ferpection has a pretty convenient payment system. The two things that might give you pause are the £20/€20 threshold, which is a bit on the high side, and the limited options for rewards. But the good news is, the payment options they do offer are solid. Most people look for either PayPal or Amazon.
Final Thoughts
If you’re in an area with missions, Ferpection could be an okay choice for you. You could find some opportunities here and there. But if you’re located elsewhere, earning a substantial amount can be challenging, as the site might not offer much in your area.
I don’t think you’re going to make much, but seeing it’s a legitimate platform, you can at least check it out. As long as you’re comfortable speaking your thoughts out loud, it’s something to consider.
That’s going to do it for now.
