In today’s post, let’s talk about Jobble, a site I have come across that’s really handy for anyone looking to earn some extra money. It’s especially useful if you’re an independent worker or just in need of a side gig.

To put it simply, it’s a platform in the gig economy where you can find various jobs to earn some extra cash. It’s definitely a legitimate site, offering real opportunities to make money by taking on jobs that interest you.

Jobble stands out because it offers flexible job opportunities in various cities, and the best part is, there’s no minimum amount required to withdraw your earnings. This makes it super convenient to get paid for your work.

I’m always on the lookout for new ways to make money, and Jobble caught my eye. I dove deep into exploring what it’s all about and I’m here to share what I discovered. This way, you can have a clear picture of what to expect before you even sign up.  Of course, it’s important to make an informed decision about whether or not this platform is the right fit for you.

Signing Up

If you’re considering joining Jobble, it is only available to U.S. residents So, if you’re not living in the US, you will have to look elsewhere.

Signing up is a breeze.

You can fill out a registration form or use your Google, Apple, or Facebook account to log in.  Make sure you complete your profile first thing before jumping into job hunting. This will set you up nicely for what’s ahead.

And, as a heads-up, Jobble will ask for your mobile number. It’s an important step because you will need to verify your identity every time you apply for a job. This is mandatory.

How Jobble Works

Using Jobble is pretty straightforward and can be okay if you know how to use it properly. Once you’re a member, you will have access to a world of job opportunities. You can either use their website or the Jobble app, which I will talk more about in a bit.

Finding jobs on Jobble is simple and works just like any other job site.

Just type in your city, and a list of available jobs pops up. But, before diving into job hunting, make sure your profile is complete. It’s a quick process and once it’s done, you can start checking out jobs that fit your style.  However, you can view all jobs before you even sign up if you want to see what’s available in your area.

Each job listing on Jobble, as you can see from the screenshot above, gives you the lowdown on what you will be doing, how much you can earn, and the job’s timeline. If something looks good, click on it for more details.

And, if it looks like something of interest, hit the apply button and you will get a verification code via SMS. After that, just follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application.

Jobble then sends your application to the hiring manager.  In some cases, however, you will apply directly on the company’s site if they are not on the app directly.

The waiting game begins here as there’s no set timeline for a response. You might get an immediate acceptance or you might have to wait a bit as managers review other applications. Keep an eye on your emails or app notifications for any updates.

If you don’t hear back after a few weeks, it’s likely your application wasn’t successful. But if you do get the job, congratulations.  You will then get all the details, including your work schedule, through the app and email. Remember, it’s crucial to check in and out on the app for every shift. Missing this step can lead to removal from the job and delayed payment.

And, if you change your mind about a job, that’s no problem, as you can easily quit through the app. Just head to the “Shift Confirmations” page, decline all, and select “Quit.” If you’re running late or can’t make it, make sure to communicate with your hiring manager through the app. And if you need to quit a multi-day job mid-way, don’t worry – you’ll still get paid for the shifts you’ve worked.

Lastly, when setting up your profile, you will indicate the types of jobs you’re interested in.

Jobble offers a variety of jobs, some requiring specific skills and others more general. In big cities, you’ll find plenty of options, which is typical for gig economy sites. Smaller cities might have fewer opportunities, but there’s still a chance to find something that suits you.

As a last note, you won’t always apply through the app, as noted.  In some cases, Jobble will act more like a job search engine, helping connect you with jobs in your area that you may qualify for.

Earning Money

On Jobble, you earn money for each job you complete, and the payment for each shift is based on the hourly rate listed in the job description. This amount is then added to your Jobble account balance.

To get your hands on that cash, you will just link a debit card or your bank account to your Jobble account. When your employer pays you, the money is sent directly to your chosen account.  However, again, this isn’t always the case if you apply for a full time job.  If you apply on a third party site, then this will be treated like a job and you will be compensated by your employer.

Employers usually start the payment process within seven business days after your last shift. Once they initiate payment, it typically takes between two to five business days for the funds to appear in your account. The good news is, there’s no minimum amount you need to earn before you get paid. This lack of a payout threshold is a big plus, making it easy and straightforward to access your earnings.

How Much Can You Make?

Now, let’s talk about how much you can earn.

The payment for each job varies. Generally, the more time and effort a job requires, the higher the pay. Another factor is the cost of living in the city where the job is located. For instance, a job in New York City will likely pay more than the same job in the middle of nowhere. This means your earnings can differ significantly based on where you are.

The same can be said about your experience/skill set.  If you were a nurse, for instance, you could earn much more than someone who is just stocking shelves.

In my experience, the earning potential on Jobble is pretty solid, especially in larger cities. There’s a good number of jobs available, and they usually offer fair compensation. So, if you’re in a big city and looking for a convenient way to make some extra cash, Jobble could be a great option.

Plan on averaging anywhere from minimum wage to more than $35+ per hour.

The Pros:

Final Thoughts

Overall, I find Jobble to be a decent job gig economy-like site, depending on where you live. It seems to be decent for finding jobs that pay well, especially in big cities. Plus, cashing out your earnings is hassle-free. The biggest hitch is the uncertainty in waiting times after applying for jobs. If you’re not a fan of waiting, this might be a bit of a downside.  Other downsides, as noted, include delayed support and misleading listings.  Just make sure you research the jobs when viewing these jobs and you should be okay.

If Jobble could streamline its application process, it could really up its game. But as things stand, I’d recommend it as a secondary option for earning extra cash.

If you’re looking for something simpler, there are plenty of survey sites out there. These platforms often offer good earning potential, and you won’t have to wait too long to start making money. Plus, you will find something no matter where you live.  Don’t plan on getting rich with these, though.
