If you like playing solitaire or games for the matter, you may be wondering if you can make money in doing so?

Well, the answer is kind of.

In today’s guide, I wanted to talk about the few ways you can potentially make money playing solitaire online.  You won’t make a ton, but you may be able to make something.

As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% legitimate in what I review.  After all, that’s why I created the site.

How to Make or Win Money Playing Solitaire

NOTE: There are a TON of solitaire apps that pay you money, however, I’m only going to include those that have 100,000+ downloads with a 4+ rating.

Download Solitaire Cash

Solitaire Cash, which is an app only available for iOS devices, allows you to enter cash tournaments to win large cash prizes, usually in the $10 to $100+ range.

For example, you may have to pay $1 to enter a small 5-person pool to win $10 or $4 to enter a 20-player prize pool.  Yes, a slight investment is involved most of the time just like gambling, but it’s really only one of the ways to make money playing solitaire online.  However, if you’re uncomfortable with investing your money, you can play for free and collect bonus cash, in which you can then play in a paid game.  This will just take longer.

The cool thing about the app is that you’re always playing with people who are on the same playing level as you, so don’t expect to play someone who’s 10 times better.

Once you hit at least $5 in rewards, you can cash out with PayPal.

Solitaire Cube

Solitaire Cube is another app that works just like Solitaire Cash.  It’s very popular on iTunes, with more than 89,900+ ratings and a very solid 4.6/5 rating.

You can either compete in cash tournaments, winning hundreds, or you earn tickets, which allow you to purchase all kinds of prizes or even enter tournaments.  Mostly, you will have to enter using your cash, so if you think you’re good enough, I would at least try.  If not, you may want to choose something else as there are a lot of what seem like professionals on the platform.

Classic Solitaire – Make Money

The Classic Solitaire – Make Money by Coco Milk Studio has more than 100,000 downloads and allows you to win money all while playing solitaire.  For every ad you view, you can earn cash credits, in which you can then cash out for in the future.

The app is very simple to use, and in comparison to most mentioned here, there are very few ads while you’re playing.  There are no tournaments or gambling.  Simply play, watch ads in between games and get rewarded.  It will take you a while to earn your money, but it’s a way to make some cash if you’re already playing Solitaire.

Once you play and earn at least $30, you can cash out via PayPal.

Solitaire – Make Money

The “Solitaire – Make Money” app by WINR Games Inc. is an app designed for Android users.  The app mentioned prior isn’t available for Android phones; however, an alternative exists.  This is it.

This is more of a free content-like game, in which you can earn money that you can cash out via PayPal.  The biggest complaints, however, is that you have to watch ads and you need at least $50 in winnings to cash out via PayPal.  This can take some time, according to some.

In comparison to Solitaire Cash, I would say it isn’t as good, but it’s something to check out if you’re interested in making money with Solitaire.

Solitaire Jackpot: Win Real Money

Solitaire Jackpot: Win Real Morey by Tuyoo Games lets you play classic solitaire games as well as play lottery scratchers on your phone.  I wouldn’t say it’s the best but they have more than 100,000+ downloads.

According to the reviews, it’s one of the better options on the app store, however, the advertisements seem to be extreme.  And, to earn your coins, you will have to watch the ads, which is can be a pain to some.

You do need $100 to cash out, which is way too high, and this may take you forever, but they do have “puzzles,” in which you can complete to win simple $1 prizes such as an Amazon gift card.

Final Thoughts

Unless you’re willing to bet some of your money, I have found most of these apps to be garbage.  You have to watch ads to earn your credits and it can take you forever to do so.  Unless you enjoy gambling, it’s the only way it can work, and it’s the only reason I would recommend Solitaire Cash and that’s about it.

Yes, you can make money playing solitaire, but it’s going to be much harder than you think.  In fact, I think it will annoy you more than bring enjoyment, so play at your own risk.
