MetroOpinion is one of the many online survey sites out there that pay you to answer survey questions, claiming that you can make up to $5 per survey.  In comparison to my other survey reviews I have done in the past, I would say I have mixed feelings about this company, seeing it isn’t bad nor is it great.

But, since you can join as many survey companies as you please, MetroOpinion may be an option to consider.

In today’s review, I want to talk about MetroOpinion in depth.  Can you make money?  Is it a scam?  Is it legit?

As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Let’s begin.

What is MetroOpinion?

MetroOpinion is one of the many survey sites that exist on the internet.  It’s as simple as opening a survey, answering the questions and then getting rewarded for your time.

The company is a subsidiary of Opinodo ApS, which builds “scalable consumer oriented membership platforms online.”  In researching this company, it appears that a website owner can use this service to start monetizing their traffic through surveys, and they will use a company known as Cint AB.

While the company running this script is 100% legitimate, the website, MetroOpinion, in this case, is using the Opinodo script (Cint AB) as a middleman of sorts.  This means that you won’t find anything unique and hundreds of other website owners can use the same script as well.

Earning Cash with Surveys

The only way you can earn money on MetroOpinion is via surveys.  These paid surveys will be emailed to you or you can sign into your dashboard, which will look something like this if you were to log into your account:

As I mentioned, they use a basic script known as Cint AB and this is fairly common among some survey companies I have mentioned in the past.

The nice thing about the panel is that it’s straight-forward.  As you can see, you’re notified of how long the survey takes as well as what it pays.  So, for example, that very first sample will pay out $0.62 for a six minute survey, which isn’t too bad.

Keep in mind that you won’t qualify for all surveys.  In fact, this is common amongst most survey companies, however, you can increase your odds whenever you fill out your profile in detail.

When you do sign up, make sure you fill out your profile in depth so that they can match you up with the right surveys.  While this is optional, failing to do so can lead to a lot of disqualifications, which can be quite frustrating.  There are a lot of profile questions, but if you answer a few here and there, it shouldn’t take too long before your profile is complete.

How Many Surveys Should I Get?

The nice thing about the Cint AB platform is that they almost always seem to have a steady stream of surveys.

For example, when I was writing this review, they had at least 100+ survey invites, with many being added throughout the day.  I would say it’s on the higher end of survey opportunities in comparison to others.

Again, while you won’t qualify for all of them, you can expect about 5-10 approvals a day, I would say.

How Much Do the Surveys Pay?

Depending on the survey length, the surveys tend to pay $0.25 to $3+, on average, with some paying more and some paying less.

This seems to be the average, but I can expect you can make about $5~ or so per day by logging in frequently taking a few surveys here and there.

Remember that you can increase this pay if you fill out your profile since you will qualify for more surveys.

Rewards

When it comes time to cash out, you will need at least $10 in rewards, which puts this site in the middle of most competitors.

At the moment, the company offers the following reward options:

• Amazon ($10)
• GCodes ($10)
• GiftCard Pass ($10)
• PayPal ($12.50)

The nice thing is that the company offers rewards for almost anything.  Even the GCodes, GiftCard Pass and Global Gift Card is a gift card code that allows you to redeem it at many retailers and restaurants.  For example, the GiftCard Pas scan be redeemed at Walmart, Best Buy and Target, to name a few.

When you do cash out, it can take up to four days to receive your reward.

The Pros:

• many rewards
• seems to have a decent number of survey invites

The Cons:

• not a unique platform
• takes a long time to fill out your profile (won’t get compensated)

Signing Up for an Account

If you’re interested in joining, the great thing is that MetroOpinion works with more than 40+ countries, so there’s a very good chance you will be able to join.  You will be able to find a full list of countries accepted when you start the registration process.

To start the registration process, you will select your country and then fill out your email, birthday as well as postal code.

The entire process takes 60 seconds at most and you can get started right away.

Final Thoughts

6/10In the end, MetroOpinion isn’t bad.  I would say it’s in the middle, simply because they are using a script that so many other sites are using.  You just won’t find anything unique here.  As I mentioned above, if you haven’t already joined a site using CINT AB, then consider at least creating an account to see how well you can do with the surveys.

If you do sign up, expect to earn a few dollars here and there, maybe up to $20 per week, not much more.  The site is legit and they won’t scam you if you reach the minimum threshold, so you can be assured you’re working with a company that pays.
