Opini Surveys Review (How I Rank Them)

In today’s post, let’s talk about Opini Surveys, which is a platform where you can earn money by sharing your opinions. It’s straightforward to use and has a low cash-out requirement. However, the potential to make big money is somewhat limited. Despite this, it’s not a scam but a legitimate opportunity for some extra income.

Run by SurveyGoo Ltd, formerly known as Asia Opinions Ltd, this UK-based platform has been around since 2010.

Now, you might be wondering whether Opini Surveys is worth your time if you have come across the name, or maybe you’re trying to find yet another survey platform.

Regardless, I have personally tried it out to give you the inside scoop. This way, you can make an informed decision about whether it suits your needs.  Everyone is different in what they want, so your answer could be different than mine.

As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Let’s begin!

Who Can Join?

Opini is open to people from a bunch of countries around the world. As I write this, it’s available in 14 different places, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and several countries in Asia and Africa.  You can find all of the countries right on their official website.

If you’re in one of these countries, joining is a breeze.

Head over to their website, click the “Join” button, and select your country. You will then see a registration form like the one in the picture. Fill it out, submit it, and you’re almost there.

Once you’ve registered, you will get an email. Click the link in that email to activate your account.  The whole process takes a few minutes at most.

You need to be at least 16 years old to join. As for household limits, they don’t really say if there’s a cap on how many people from the same home can sign up. So, it looks like anyone in your house who’s old enough can join in on the fun.

Earning Money on Opini

When you first create an account, you need to sign up and fill out your profile. This step is crucial because the details you provide determine the kinds of surveys Opini will send you. It might take a while, and you won’t get paid for this part, but it’s a necessary step to access the paid surveys.  This is said with any survey site.  If they don’t know about you, they are often unable to send you targeted surveys.

Once your profile is ready, you will then start getting survey invites. You can find these either in the Surveys tab on your dashboard or through email notifications. Before you jump into a survey, however, there’s a little hurdle you need to cross – pre-qualifying questions. These questions ensure you fit the demographic the survey targets.

If you qualify, that’s great.  You can then proceed with the actual survey and earn your reward upon completion. If  you do not, don’t sweat it. Just move on to the next available survey.  Again, this is very standard practice with almost all survey companies.

What you will find out is that most surveys last about one to ten minutes, sometimes more.  Usually, these are your typical surveys, but you can sometimes find focus groups, web cam surveys as well as video diaries.

How Much Can You Make?

Your earnings, like most survey-like sites, will depend on three things.  This will include how often you get survey invites, how many surveys you complete, and the pay for each survey.

To get more survey invites, it’s crucial that you fill out your profile completely. Doing so will increase the chances of getting more surveys. Think of it as setting the stage to attract more opportunities.

Also, be sure to act fast. When you get a survey invite, try to respond as soon as possible. Surveys often have a limit on how many people can take them or an expiry date. So, the quicker you are, the better your chances of making it into the group that gets paid.

These strategies can help you make the most out of your time on Opini.

Getting Paid

Now, about the rewards for completing surveys. You’re probably curious about what you will earn for your time and opinions.

When you complete surveys, you earn a certain amount of money. The cool thing is, the way you get paid and the minimum amount you need to earn before cashing out depends on where you live.  Every country has its own payout threshold.  Most thresholds, however, range from $10 to $17~

Once you hit that minimum threshold, you can then withdraw your earnings. And, you have a couple of options for this – PayPal or GCodes.

If you choose PayPal, remember there’s a small 2% handling fee. So, the amount you transfer won’t be the full amount you have earned. On the other hand, you might prefer Amazon gift cards as a reward.

And, if you’re not familiar with GCodes, these are virtual codes that you can swap for different rewards. Think merchandise, gift cards, digital magazines, books, travel perks, event tickets, and even mobile top-up. There’s a lot to choose from, and the rewards are quite good.  I

If you’re thinking about joining Opini, make sure you’re set up with either PayPal or GCodes. This way, you’re ready to cash out whenever you hit that payout threshold.

One cool thing about Opini is its low payment threshold. This means you can cash out your earnings faster compared to other survey sites. It’s the same no matter where you live, which is pretty convenient.

The Pros:

  • You can get paid via PayPal, which is super convenient.
  • It’s available in a bunch of different countries.
  • There’s a mobile app, making it easy to take surveys on the go.
  • Opini Surveys is a legitimate company that pays for survey completion, offering a chance to earn some pocket money.
  • Users find the tasks on the site to be less time-consuming, making it easier to complete surveys.
  • The website is considered fun and user-friendly, with a good selection of surveys to choose from.
  • Some users have had positive experiences with prompt payments and cashing out rewards.
  • There’s a report of improved service and successful cashouts in recent times.

The Cons:

  • You’re not going to make a lot of money doing this.
  • Users frequently report being disqualified after completing surveys, causing frustration and a sense of wasted effort.
  • There have been issues with redeeming rewards, particularly with Amazon digital cards and links not working.
  • Complaints about missing rewards and unresponsiveness to user complaints are common.
  • Some users experience a high rate of disqualification from surveys and slow accumulation of earnings.
  • Reports of account closures without warning and refusal to consider appeals have been noted, raising concerns about the site’s management.
  • Users from certain regions, like India, have found it particularly challenging to qualify for surveys and accumulate sufficient earnings for cashout.

Final Thoughts

To be honest, while Opini is a legit way to earn some extra cash, it’s not going to make you rich. It’s a nice side gig, but you might not want to rely on it as your main source of survey income. It’s more like a nice little bonus for sharing your opinions.

If you were thinking of making Opini your go-to for earning big, you might want to rethink that. It’s just not on par with others in terms of how much you can earn. But hey, it can be a nice little side gig. The money you make here can complement what you earn from other survey sites.

If you’re on the hunt for survey sites that offer more earning potential, definitely check out the top ones in your country. There’s a good chance you’ll find something that suits you, even if you’re not in one of the 14 countries where Opini operates.  Simply put, Opini shouldn’t be high on your list as they don’t have all that much to offer.

That does it for now.
