Viewsbank Review: Is It Legit Still?

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

Viewsbank is an online community of sorts where you can get paid to complete surveys and projects, such as mystery shopping.  The company is owned by Consumer Intelligence, which is an independent research firm, founded in 2002.  As I write this, they are based in Bristol, England, and I can assure you that they are as legitimate as they come.

However, is it worth your time?

Whether you landed on this page because you wanted to know more about Viewsbank or maybe you’re looking for another way to earn money, I’m going to show you how the website works in detail today.

As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel what’s worth your time.  I don’t promote garbage products nor will you find me misleading you in any way.

Signing Up for an Account

To sign up for an account, you can do so via the main website by simply following the “Sign Up Now” button.

Throughout the signing up process, you will be asked to answer a few demographic questions, such as your name, address, etc; however, signing up doesn’t guarantee you a spot as the company does select particular applicants.

Nonetheless, the entire process takes no more than five minutes to sign up and you must reside in the UK.  Even though the website allows anyone to sign up, they will close your account immediately once they find out you don’t reside in the country.

Making Money with Viewsbank Assignments

One of the main ways you will make money on Viewsbank is via the “assignments” section.  This section is no different than paid offers that you see on many other GPT sites.  Simply put, you complete the task and you get rewarded.

When you log into your account, you can view any assignments available to you at the moment via the “Assignments” dashboard tab.

When you first sign up, however, you won’t see many invites… if any.  They do note, though, that you accept as many assignments as possible to increase your chances of receiving more invites.  The more assignments you complete, the more money you can potentially earn.

Whenever an assignment is active, you will always know how long it will take you to finish as well as what you will be rewarded.  Mostly, you will be rewarded in cash, but in some circumstances, they may only enter you in a prize draw.  No matter what the assignment may be, it’s always up to you whether or not you want to accept it.

How Much Do Assignments Pay?

Typically, the average assignment will pay about £0.5 to £3, with the longer assignments paying the most.

As mentioned, however, some assignments may pay out in contest entry tickets as well.  In this case, you will be entered into a drawing, typically for cash prizes and you won’t get paid cash.  Just be careful to read your reward before committing.

As a forewarning, if you want to make the most money on the website, make sure you’re quick with the assignments since they do go fast.

Rewards

In order to get paid, you will need at least £12 to cash out.

Once you hit this threshold, you will then need to wait for the second Tuesday of the following month, as this is when they process payments for the following month.  All payouts are automatically sent once you’re over the threshold.

Unfortunately, this is one of the slowest payouts in the industry, seeing almost every legitimate company I have reviewed only takes a few days at most to get money to you.

At the moment, you can only get paid via PayPal, which isn’t too bad.

The Pros:

  • PayPal

The Cons:

  • seemed to go downhill after the change
  • limited assignments
  • only open to U.K. residents
  • higher-than-average payout threshold
  • long payout period
  • Reddit users no longer recommends it

Final Thoughts

5/10While Viewsbank is 100% legitimate, I don’t see many assignments throughout the month.  And, seeing it’s only available to U.K. residents, most of us will be limited in using it.  Plus, from what I read, the company isn’t as good as it once was before the website conversion.

Again, while you won’t get scammed, I just don’t feel it’s worth your time, even if you live in the U.K.  It could be considered an extra website, sure, but you’re going to find out that it won’t pay you much.

In the end, if you do add your name to the database, there’s nothing wrong with that.  Maybe check in here or there, but just don’t expect much.  If you have that mindset, it’s that much better.

That’s going to do it for now.
