Appinio  is a survey app that offers both rewards and challenges. It allows you to earn rewards by answering simple surveys and polls.  And, while it’s not a bad app, it’s not exceptionally great either, as it may take some time before you accumulate a substantial amount of rewards.

In today’s review, let’s take a closer look at Appinio and its earning opportunities.  Whether you’re looking for a new survey app or you want to see what Appinio is all about, let’s dive in deep.  As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Earning Money with Appinio

As I write this review, the app offers three main options: polls, paid surveys, and a referral program.

Let’s take a look at how each option works.

#1 Polls

One easy way to earn rewards on Appinio is by participating in polls.

When you log into the app, you will see the polls available for you to answer. These polls can be completed quickly, usually taking just a few seconds. However, it’s essential to note that not all polls offer rewards.

When you answer a poll, there’s a chance to receive a “coin package,” which gives you a certain number of coins, typically around 5 to 10 coins. Additionally, you will receive experience points for completing these polls, and I’ll explain these experience points in a second.

There are a decent number of polls available at any given time, but they are limited. So, if you run out of polls to answer, don’t worry, as more will be available the next day.

#2 Paid Surveys

Occasionally, Appinio offers paid surveys, which can provide higher rewards compared to polls.

The process of answering these surveys is straightforward, and you won’t have to go through a qualifying process, which is nice. However, the surveys are designed with specific questions to ensure that you are attentively answering them, rather than providing random answers. For instance, some questions might require you to wait a few seconds before responding to ensure your engagement.

The rewards for completing these surveys can range from around 50 to 500+ coins. Generally, longer surveys offer higher rewards, but they are still easy to answer and won’t take up much of your time.

#3 Referral Program

Appinio also has a referral program that allows you to earn additional rewards.

By inviting others to join the app using your referral link, you can earn rewards. When someone clicks on your link, installs the app, and completes the sign-up process, they become your referral, and you will immediately receive 50 coins as a reward.

As your referrals continue to participate in polls and surveys, their membership level will increase. For example, once they reach level 14, you will earn an additional reward of 2,500 coins. It’s important to invite people who are genuinely interested in earning from the app to maximize your earnings from this opportunity.  The more they earn, the more you can make.

However, it’s crucial to be aware that this earning opportunity has a maximum limit of $25. This means you can only earn from the first 10 referrals who reach level 14. It’s a drawback since most referral programs usually have unlimited earning potential.  This is very rare in the referral world.

Getting Paid

Getting paid on Appinio is straightforward. You earn coins by participating in various activities within the app, and once you accumulate at least 10,000 coins, you can redeem them for a $10 withdrawal via PayPal.  Yes, that means every 1,000 coins will equal $1 in value.

This payout threshold is relatively low compared to other survey apps.

When you make a withdrawal via PayPal, you will receive your earnings quickly, usually within a few days.

Alternatively, aside from Amazon, you can also convert your coins into Amazon gift cards, but the same 10,000 coins minimum applies for redemption.

How Much Can I Make?

The amount you earn will depend on the time and effort you invest.  This can be said about any app such as this.

When you answer polls or surveys, you will earn experience points, which increase your account level. As your level rises, you will gain access to more surveys and polls, leading to potentially higher earnings. The maximum level achievable is level 50, granting access to the most opportunities the app has to offer.

However, it’s essential to manage expectations regarding these earnings.

The rewards for completing surveys are relatively low, with a maximum of less than $1 per paid survey. Polls offer even lower rewards. While the app’s earning opportunities are easy and quick to complete, this means the potential earnings are limited.

Therefore, though the payout threshold is relatively low, it might take some time to reach it due to the low rewards offered. The earning potential of Appinio is considered quite low overall in my opinion.

Final Thoughts

While you can earn rewards easily, it might take some time to earn a ton of rewards.  Therefore, it’s essential to set realistic earning expectations. If you’re looking for a primary source of extra cash, don’t expect much here.  However, if you want to earn a dollar here or there, then why not at least try it out.
