Appking Review: No Minimum Threshold?

NOTE:  It appears the app is no longer active.  I will leave this up for archive purposes.

The Appking app is said to be the “ultimate” money making app where you can play games for real money and get rewarded instantly.  With their app, you can have the chance of earning real rewards all while playing games.  Yes, the concept sounds great, but don’t get too excited just yet.

Now, there are a ton of these apps on the market, and sadly, most will not be worth your time.  Even the best ones in my opinion, such as Mistplay, won’t earn you much.  I’m talking $10 to $20 per month, maybe less than that.  Like anything, it will depend on how hard you work at it.

In today’s review, I want to show you how the Appking app works.  Whether you’re looking for an app that pays you to play games or maybe you heard about Appking, let’s see what it’s all about.

How it Works

Once you download the app, you will be asked to connect your Google account as well as provide a few small demographic details such as your age and gender.  This all takes about one minute at most.

When you connect your account, you will then see a dashboard, which will look something like this:

As you can see from the top three categories, you can earn in three different ways:  special offers, surveys and apps.  You will just click on a category to see what’s available at the moment.  Like most apps, these offers are almost always updating.

Let’s talk about each one below.

Special Offers

In the “special offers” section, you can take advantage of any of the special offers at the moment.  Most of what you see on the main page will be special offers, but from what I say, it will just re-direct you to third-party offerwalls, which are typically “middlemen” for these types of sites.

Surveys

In the surveys section, you can take surveys, but again, these are through third-party websites such as TapResearch, bitLabs and the like.  These types of third-party companies are on so many sites, but the thing is that the apps can choose how much they want to pay you.  Some will pay more of a cut than others, and it’s the reason I will always tell you to research the best rates.  Mainly, I find Swagbucks and Superpay.me to pay the most if you were to use a third-party offerwall.  You will not take surveys directly with AppKing, so you will want to keep that in mind.

Apps

And, lastly, the apps section will earn you cash whenever you download an app and perform the action stated.

This section will have a few options, ranging from signing up for an email to trying a free trial.  You will be able to see how much you can make in each section.  Again, these are offers found in so many places, so make sure you’re getting the best rate.  For example, if you sign up for the jokes newsletter, you can make $0.08.

Overall, you won’t find much in terms of offers, apps and surveys.  In fact, I would say it’s on the lower end of offers in comparison to most apps I have reviewed in the past.  There isn’t much here.

Rewards

When it comes time to cash out, you can do so by connecting your PayPal account.  At the moment, all they have for a reward option is PayPal, but to most, that should be okay, because money is the best option always, right?

The nice thing about the app is that you can cash out at any time as long as you have at least $0.05 in your account.  This makes it one of the lowest thresholds in the industry.

Most users do note that payments arrive within 24 hours when you cash out.

NOTE: When you want to withdraw your cash, you may be asked to verify your identity.

What Others Are Saying

The app in itself has okay reviews, but like any app on the market, there are always pros and cons.  Here’s what I found when doing my research:

The Pros

  • faster than average payouts (most come in 24 hours or less)
  • multiple earning options
  • no minimum payout

The Cons

  • some technical issues
  • limited options in most cases
  • mainly third party offerwalls
  • unreliable tracking
  • limited earnings

Final Thoughts

3/10It does seem as if AppKing is legit, however, you won’t make much as they don’t work with many providers.  If you were to download this app, you won’t find much to do.

While you can make money on your phone, AppKing will not be high on my list.  Instead, I would rather recommend a powerhouse such as Swagbucks or Freecash, to name a few.  These companies have so many other offers to keep you busy.  They won’t make you much, but they will have a lot more to sift through than AppKing.

That’s going to do it for now.
