The Bitcoin Blast app has more than 5,000,000 downloads with a somewhat decent 4.4/5 rating on the Google Play Store.
Whenever you complete an interactive puzzle, you can earn “bling points,” in which you can cash out for Bitcoin. You definitely won’t make much doing this. In fact, most of what I found is that you will barely earn anything.
Whether you’re looking for an app that rewards you in Bitcoin or you heard about Bitcoin Blast, let’s see if the app is something worth the download.
What is Bitcoin Blast?
Bitcoin Blast will pay you simply in “bling points,” in which you can convert to Bitcoin whenever you finish a match three-type puzzle game. It’s operated by a company called Bling Financial, which is an app developer that has created other apps that work just like it. Mainly, they seem to focus on games such as this. They were founded in 2017 and are headquartered in Costa Mesa, California.
While the company itself does seem legitimate, it doesn’t mean the app is going to be worth the download.
Making Money with Bitcoin Blast
As mentioned, to start making money with the app, you will have to play puzzles to earn points. These points you can then eventually cash out for Bitcoin.
All you will need to do is click that “Play” button at the bottom of your screen, watch a quick 30-second ad and then you’re directed to the puzzle.
Before the puzzle starts, you will see your “target” that you need to meet to win as well as your next reward if you do so. In that example, I would earn 3,147 coins if I completed the puzzle.
After each game, you will have to watch an ad just like in the beginning. This is how they are going to make money so that they can pay you. And, if you ever have played any of these games, you will know that you will have to watch a lot of ads in-between these games, which can be quite annoying.
And, as for the game, it’s simple.
All you have to do is match three of the same color in a row to earn points. The more coins you can include in your line, the more points you can earn. Each level, as you can see in the screenshot above, will have goals you have to meet, in order to progress. It’s much like Candy Crush.
Getting Paid
As explained, you will earn points for every puzzle you complete. So, in that first example, I would earn 3,147 points, which will be added to my wallet.
To start the cash out process, you will need at least 9,900 coins, in which you can transfer to your Coinbase account. You will need a Coinbase wallet to transfer your funds.
When you cash out, you can see how much your points are worth. Usually, every 1,000 coins are worth 0.00000001 BTC. It’s a lot of zeros, I know, but as of this writing, that’s $0.0002 in value. That’s nowhere near a penny.
Right now, you will need a Coinbase account, as it’s the only way to cash out. You can choose Ethereum if you wish, but there’s no PayPal, Amazon, etc. If you want something aside from Bitcoin, this isn’t for you.
How Much Can I Make?
Right when you download the game, you will see a large disclaimer that even notes that you will not make a lot playing this. I can respect them for at least warning you and it’s true. If you see this disclaimer, it’s safe to say you won’t make much. And, while the minimum threshold is low and you can cash out fairly fast, you will find that it will take you FOREVER to earn anything.
For every puzzle you play, plan on earning about 0.00000003 in Bitcoin, which equates to about $0.0006 in value. If you do the math, that’s about 100 puzzles to earn $0.06 worth of Bitcoin. Is that worth it? Probably not to anyone.
Put simply, you will have to play thousands of games to earn a dollar at most.
Signing Up
If you do like what you read and want to sign up for an account, you can do via Google Play or iOS.
Immediately after downloading it, you will either have to connect your Google or Facebook account.
After doing so, you can start playing games on any Bling Financial app, not just Bitcoin Blast.
This is only available for Google Play or iOS. No desktop version is available.
You can sign up no matter where you live and no restrictions seem to be noted, at least from what I saw.
The Pros:
- very low payout threshold
- fun game
- available worldwide
The Cons:
- no PayPal
- lots of ads
- will take you FOREVER to earn anything of value
Final Thoughts
2/10In the end, the puzzles are fun, but the company is right. You will not make much doing this. As I said, you will have to play hundreds, if not more than a thousand+ games to earn $1 in Bitcoin. You will have to invest so many hours of your time to earn almost nothing. So, if you’re going to download it, only do so if you want to play games and maybe get a small reward. Even so, I don’t find it much fun because you have to watch a lot of ads. There just isn’t much going for it.
That’s going to do it for now.
