Branded Surveys, which used to be known as MintVine, transformed itself in 2017. Even though they changed names in 2017, the company has been operating since 2012, running surveys since.
As yet another online survey site in this competitive space, Branded Surveys has risen in the ranks, mostly due to paying bloggers an affiliate commission. Usually, when these survey companies pay a commission, they become quite popular as everyone wants to promote them for that tasty commission. But, even though they pay to promote, it doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. I mean, Swagbucks has a commission program like this and I honestly think they are one of the better options in the industry.
If you love answering survey questions and getting rewarded for your time, let’s jump in and see what Branded Surveys is all about.
What is Branded Surveys?
The premise is simple.
Branded Surveys offers a variety of survey opportunities and rewards you with cash and gift cards whenever you complete a survey. As mentioned, it’s one of the hundreds of companies in this space and works no differently than other survey platforms if you’re a member of one.
They operate under the Branded Research brand, a privately held research company based in San Diego, California. According to the company’s LinkedIn page, they offer “next-gen audience technology solutions to enterprises across the globe” and their “on-demand data collection platform helps clients connect with their audiences in real-time to gather unique consumer insights.”
To date, they have more than 1.5 million members and provide insight for multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Signing up for Branded Surveys
To sign up with Branded Surveys, you can do so in two ways. You can either connect your Facebook account or you can sign up for a unique account. In this case, all they ask for is your email, a password as well as your gender.
The entire sign-up process takes less than one minute and you can get started right away.
At the moment, you must be at least 16+ years old and reside either in the United States, United Kingdom or Canada.
Your Branded Surveys Dashboard
After you sign up, you can immediately access your dashboard, which will look something like this:
The thing about the dashboard is that it’s very clean. Your surveys are listed near the top, beneath the “survey spotlight” tab and you can earn extra earning opportunities beneath, such as completing your surveys and referring your friends.
On the menu bar, you can see how many points, check out your “Branded Elite” status and see where you stand on the leaderboard. Don’t worry, I will get into this later on in the review.
The Surveys
Branded Surveys will reward you with points every time you complete a survey. Thankfully, the site makes it easy, with every point worth a penny. You will need at least 1,000 points to cash out, a $10 value, but it isn’t as hard as you think. Looking at how many surveys are available, it should be fairly easy to earn $1 to $5 a day with ease, sometimes much more if you work more than the average participant.
Just remember, like most survey panels, you won’t always qualify for the survey you click on, so don’t think it’s a guarantee if you click on it. At best, you will qualify for about 10 to 25% of the surveys you click on.
Most of the surveys you see on the site will range anywhere from as little as 15 to 300+ points, but sometimes, they can be much higher, but this tends to be a rarity. As for how long it will take, plan on spending five to 20 minutes on average. Before you click on a survey, it will tell you exactly how long the survey takes as well as how many points you can earn.
To ensure that you receive more survey invites, it’s so important that you fill out your profile in detail so that you can receive more survey invites. In filling out this profile, the research companies can learn more about you, which means they can send you targeted surveys that you qualify for. If they don’t know about you, you will still receive survey invites, but they will be quite broad and you won’t qualify for most of them.
Branded Elite Program
What makes Branded Surveys different than that from other survey panels is that they offer an award program, known as the Branded Elite Program. This is a program that offers three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, and each of these tiers allows you to earn additional bonus points for the entire month. You can see where you stand via the “Branded Elite” link in the menu bar.
To earn additional points, here’s what you need to do…
You will always reset and start as a Bronze member in the beginning of the month. For example, as a Bronze member, you can earn a 5% bonus when you complete 12 surveys in seven days, a 7% bonus when you complete 20 surveys in 7 days and a 9% bonus when you complete 30 surveys in seven days. Once you earn 600 points, you can graduate to the Silver status. These bonuses continue, as you can see in the graphic, as you level up.
If you hit the Gold level for the month and complete more than 30 surveys in seven days, they will reward you with a 19% bonus. As you can imagine, this can add up if you use this site as your main survey panel. These rewards are subject to change from month to month, however, so be sure to check your menu to see what you can earn for the month.
The Leaderboard
Inside the leaderboard tab, referred to as the Winner’s Circle, you can see how you rank amongst your fellow panelist.
As you collect points on the site, you can see where you stand today, for the week, as well as the month. This is updated daily and gives you the chance to earn bonus points every day.
As long as you fall in the top 50 for any of the three categories, you can receive points on top of what you already earned, usually around 50 to 300 points. In some cases, they will randomly select a winner and reward you with up to 1,000 free points.
Extra Earning Opportunities
Aside from earning money through surveys, you can also earn points in a few other ways, including redeeming promo codes, taking an eligible partner survey, answering a poll question and inviting your friends.
Typically, your promo codes can be found on social media or sometimes in your email. They aren’t available often, but when they are, they are usually worth a few points.
As for the partner surveys sessions, this section allows you to take surveys via third-parties, similar to that of offerwalls offered by other survey sites. It’s worth checking out on occasions, but don’t expect much.
Every day, you can answer a quick poll question, which will pay you an easy five points. It’s the easiest number of points you can earn.
Lastly, if you refer your friends via your unique referral link, you can earn 50 points every time they become an Elite Silver member.
While this is an extra way to earn money, you will still find that almost 99% of your points will come from the “Survey Spotlight” section.
Rewards and the Branded Surveys Points To Dollars Ratio
As mentioned, Branded Surveys pays out in points, and you will need at least 1,000 points before you cash out. Again, every point is worth a penny.
When you’re ready to cash out, you will need to choose reward option you want once you hit 1,000 points. This can be found in your “Payout Options” tab on your menu bar. Just select the payment you want, and when you hit 1,000 points or more, you can click on the “Redeem Points” button that shows up on your profile.
Once you do so, it can take up to 48 hours to see your payment/gift card show up.

What the Internet Thinks
No matter what survey company I review, I always like to see what current and past panelists think of the company. No matter what company I review, I always find both good and bad. So, what did people have to say about this? Here’s what…
The Good
- wide variety of surveys
- very positive reviews in comparison to competitors
- fun, interactive surveys
- easy to use
- 100%
- lots of reward options, including PayPal and Amazon
- bonus opportunities
The Complaints
- tend to overload your email inbox (you can change this, though, in your settings)
- some technical issues
Final Thoughts
8/10If you’re asking yourself if Branded Surveys is legit and safe? The short answer is 100% yes, and I back that up with my reputation. And, because of this, I highly recommend you put them high on your radar. They offer a ton of surveys, the leaderboard is a fun competition, and I promise you that there’s a redemption that makes sense to you. You only need $10 to cash out and that goal can easily be met, sometimes within the day. I was looking at the daily leaderboard, for example, and some people were making $10 to $30 per day. That’s a lot! While I’m not saying you will make this, I don’t see why you can’t at least make $5 a day doing a few surveys here and there. Hey, it adds up.
Backed by a very reputable company, at least give them a shot for a week to see how much you can make. Worst case, you can always cancel your account if you don’t like what you see.
As always, I’m open to your comments. Have you tried the company? What did you like? What did you dislike? Feel free to sound off in the comments section below.
