Cashyy Review: Get Paid per Minute Played

Cashyy is a play and win app that has more than 5 million downloads and a decent 4.3/5 rating.

The premise is simple.

You download an app, complete a mission and you’re then rewarded with coins, in which you can cash out for a variety of rewards.

There are a lot of apps that work like this, however, is Cashyy worth your time?

In my review today, as in all of my reviews, I download Cashyy, check it out and then report my findings.  I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.  So, with that being said, let’s begin.

Earning Money

Once you download the app and register (I will show you how at the end if you’re interested), you can choose one mission.

A mission is basically choosing from a list of apps as well as what’s required of you to earn those rewards.

For example, when I downloaded the app, I had three missions to choose from, but I had to complete all three before I could proceed to the next mission.

You could see in that screenshot above that if I were to download “PLAYTIME,” I could earn 899 coins if I were to play five minutes for three days straight.  If I were to go over the limit, then I could earn per minute.

As I scrolled, this was another.  I only needed to play one minute to earn 38 coins.

The great thing about this app, in comparison to others like it, is that most require you to just play.  Just open the app, play around for the time specified and you get rewarded.  Unlike many apps, most will say you have to do X in order to earn X.  For example, if another app had that Lords Mobile app, I would probably have to reach a certain level to earn a certain amount of cash.

What Are Cashyy Points Worth?

Of course, you’re probably wondering what Cashyy points are worth.  Unfortunately, it isn’t as easy as one point is worth one penny.

Depending on what reward you want, you should expect your points to be worth about $1 per 10,000 points.

This can change, however, depending on your reward.

For example, a $1 PayPal cash out will set you back 9,898 coins, whereas a $2.50 Amazon gift card will set you back 23,533 points. They are similar but some can be somewhat off.

Looking at these numbers, you can barely expect $1 in rewards if you were to play a game.

The Rewards

The nice thing about Cashyy is that you only need $0.50 in points (4,999 points) to start the cash out process.

While I was writing this, they offered the following reward options:

  • PayPal
  • PlayStation
  • BJ’s Restaurant
  • TGIFriday’s
  • Starbucks
  • Nike
  • Xbox
  • Walmart
  • Amazon
  • Google Play

Depending on the reward, the minimum threshold varies.  For instance, PayPal is only $0.50 whereas Amazon is $2.50.  Nike, on the other hand, is $10.  You can also choose “coupons” of sorts which can get you “10x more for the same price.”  Unless you want a specific brand, such as Champion or Crocs, I didn’t find much here.

When you cash out, it will take up to five days to receive; however, some payouts can take up to seven days.  This is a bit slower than the industry standard, but I wouldn’t say it’s the worst.

Signing Up

If this looks like something you’re interested in joining, then you download the app only via the Google Play Store.  At the moment, it is not available for iTunes nor can you play games on your desktop.  Almost everything on the app is a mobile app based game.

When you download the app for the first time, you will be asked to complete your registration, which will reward you 4,499 in coins.

During this, it will ask you some basic questions, such as your gender, age as well as ask you to connect your account to either your Google, Facebook or email account.  It takes maybe a minute at most.

The Pros:

  • low payout threshold
  • easy to earn coins
  • good rewards
  • fun way to test new games

The Cons:

  • won’t get rich
  • not a ton of games
  • Google Play only

Final Thoughts

6/10Cashyy seems like one of the better apps if you want to test some games and get paid by your time rather than reaching a milestone.  While your payouts will be much less, you can reach your payout much faster.  With a $0.50 minimum threshold, you should be able to reach it quickly.

While you won’t get rich using this app, you could earn a few dollars here or there.  Plus, you can find some new games/apps on the market.  You might as well get rewarded if you’re going to try something new, right?

In the end, it’s okay.  You won’t make a lot of money, but if you’re looking for this type of app, where you can play games and get money, it’s one of the better ones.   Also, if you like how this app works, there are others that work just like it.  Again, don’t expect much.

That does it for now.
