Drumo App Review: Is This Legit?

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

Drumo is a paid survey app with more than 100,000+ downloads but a measly 3.9/5.  This is one of the lowest rated survey apps on the Google Play Store.

Yes, it’s legit, however, it isn’t what you expect as you may soon find out it isn’t worth your time.

If you’re looking for a survey app, you may have come across the Drumo app on the Google Play Store and may be curious as to what it’s about. It’s one of the many options available.

In today’s review, as in all of my reviews, let’s take an honest dive into what the app is about.

Can you make money?

Is it worth your time?

Why is it rated so low?

As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Getting Started

To get started, the app will simply ask for your email as well as a password, that’s it.

Once you provide it, you can gain access to your dashboard almost immediately.

Right now, Drumo is only available in the United States and you have to be at least 18+ years to join.  If you live outside of the U.S., you won’t be able to use the app.

Your Dashboard

After signing up, you will see your dashboard looks something like this:

I was suspended after using a “VPN,” which I never do, but hey, it’s already saying something about the app.  I was able to look at it long enough to see how you can make money with the app.  Seeing I have been using these types of apps for some time, I already know what kind of app this is.

You can see, however, that you can make money from surveys, offers and shopping.

Let me talk about each one below.

Surveys

The main way you’re going to earn money is simply via surveys.

The app makes it easy in that they show you how long the survey is going to take as well as what you’re going to make.  This is very self explanatory.

That example picture, for instance, shows you that you will make $0.63 for five minutes of your time.

While this may seem great, you will never qualify for all of these surveys, just keep that in mind.  On average, you qualify for about 10% of the surveys you click on.

Before you start taking surveys, you will have to complete a demographic profile, which is standard for almost every survey company.  You will receive this survey because they want to know more about you so that they can send you targeted surveys in the future.  If you don’t take this survey, you won’t see as many surveys on the platform.

All of the surveys you see on the dashboard don’t come directly from Drumo.  Rather, they come from the many reputable third-party offerwalls, so you won’t find much in terms of uniqueness here.

Offers

The offerwall will be “offers” that you can complete and will be different from that of surveys.

For example, you may be asked to sign up for a free trial or sign up for an email newsletter.  There are a lot of options out there, some of which pay a decent amount, but you need to make sure these offers are worth your time.

For instance, if you’re getting paid $10 to sign up for a $10 trial, is it worth it?  Probably not unless you wanted to try that service initially.  However, if you could make $50 trying a $10 trial, then it would make more sense as you could make $40 in doing so plus you could try the service.

There are always options, but you just need to do the math, and seeing most of these are trials, you will need to make sure you always cancel before you’re charged again.

Offers are great, but I wouldn’t recommend Drumo as they don’t have the highest rates nor do they have a lot of offerwalls.  Instead, put your efforts more into a better site such as Freecash, Superpay.me, and Swagbucks.

Getting Paid

The nice thing about Drumo is that they offer a few decent reward options such as PayPal, gift cards or a random premium Steam key.

Every time you complete a survey/offer, you will see your account credited and then you can start the cash out process.  You can always check your balance at the top of your screen.

To start the withdrawal process, you will need at least $0.50 to cash out, which makes it extremely easy to reach.  In fact, this is one of the lowest thresholds in the industry.   If you want another option, such as a gift card of your choice, you will need at least $5.

Most payouts are sent out almost instantly, but this isn’t always the case.  Prepared to wait up to 48 hours to receive your payout.

How Much Can You Make?

With a lot of these lower rated survey apps, you won’t make much, Drumo included.

Even if you log in frequently and complete a few surveys a day, I don’t think you can make more than a few dollars a day and that’s with a lot of effort.

The lesson here is that you won’t make much money, so if you’re expecting much more than $1 to $5 a day, you’re not going to find that here.

The Pros:

  • some users find the app more enjoyable
  • a few ways to earn
  • fast payouts within minutes

The Cons:

  • lots of survey disqualifications
  • some concerns about app’s privacy
  • many reports of not receiving credit
  • customer service doesn’t seem great

Final Thoughts

1/10I didn’t find much great about Drumo and I can see why it’s rated so poorly.

They don’t have a lot of surveys, the offers are lacking and there’s just not a lot to do.  Plus, if you read about other experiences, it seems like a pretty big turn off.

So, in the end, I won’t use it nor do I recommend the app.  I just don’t think there’s much here.

If you love the idea of surveys, there are much better options such as Freecash, Superpay.me, and Swagbucks.  You won’t get rich with these options, but you can make a few bucks here and there.

That’s going to do it for now.

As always, if you want to comment on your experience, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.

  • Drumo is by far the worst survey app I have ever used. I spent months building my earnings up to $30, and finally decide to cash out. The moment I try to cash my earnings out, is the moment Drumo decides to suspend my account. I contact their customer support, they are rather rude and unhelpful. They tell me my account was suspended because of quality review on the surveys that I did. I never lied on a survey, yet Drumo accuses me of it so they don’t have to pay me what I earned. I asked them to show me evidence of the lies they were saying about me, they tell me there’s nothing to show me, but the evidence is there. I was never treated in a more insulting way than I was by Drumo. Drumo is nothing but a big rip-off and a scam of an app! Don’t waste your time on it!

  • Drumo is a scam, I spent months building my money up to $30 and tried to cash out. Drumo decided to suspend my account the exact moment I submitted my cash out. I contacted their so-called customer service and they said I was suspended for quality reasons. Yet couldn’t tell me anything I did wrong or offer any proof of any wrong doing. Then this garbage app blocked me from their Facebook page because I was making truthful comments. Scam of an app that treats people poorly. Don’t believe any lying comments from Drumo’s customer service!
