Aside from Amazon and PayPal, the next best reward of choice is most likely Walmart.

Much like Amazon, Walmart has a decent selection, but the biggest difference here is that you can shop in store, and there’s probably one nearby.

I have written about getting free gift cards before, particularly in my how to get free Xbox gift cards and how to get a free Starbucks gift card posts.  I talked about the many legitimate ways you can earn a free gift card.  In today’s post, let’s turn the tables and talk about Walmart.  While I already mentioned a lot of these strategies in the posts mentioned prior, you will find a few new names.

Now, it will take some work on your part, but I promise there won’t be any sweat involved.  In as little as a few minutes, you could have a free Walmart gift card in hand, but it will greatly depend on how hard you work at it.

Ah, one of my favorites, Swagbucks.

As one of the biggest research companies online, it offers so many ways for you to earn a ton of rewards, including Walmart gift cards.  To date, they have rewarded more than $400+ million to their members.  That’s more than 7,000 gift cards a day!  With numbers like that, you can be certain it’s far from a scam.

From completing surveys (my favorite) to completing offers, shopping, watching videos and much more, it’s not hard to earn a few dollars a day.  I use it casually almost every day and have no problem earning $250 a month.  However, you can earn much more if you work harder than I do.  There’s always something to keep you busy.

Survey Junkie

As the name implies, Survey Junkie focuses on just that — surveys.

This very easy to use platform almost always has a variety of surveys for you to complete, many of which pay up to $1+ each.  For instance, as I’m writing this, I see at least five surveys that could net me $1 each.  I wrote about them in the past, showing you exactly how the dashboard works.

I don’t use Survey Junkie a lot, but when I do, I find it very easy to earn at least $5 a day, sometimes much more.  Like Swagbucks, you can always stay busy.

While most people cash out via PayPal, the most popular option, you can choose a Walmart gift card if you so choose.

Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys also offers a ton of gift card rewards, including Walmart gift cards.

It’s a 100% legitimate company, operated by MintVine, a market research company based in San Diego, California.

It’s a very simple site to use as you can only earn points in completing surveys.  The cool thing about them, though, is that you can “grow your account,” graduating to top-tier levels, earning bonuses and perks while doing so.  It’s a great way to boost your balance.

If you want to answer short questionnaires and get rewarded in gift cards for doing so, then it’s one to add to your list.

PrizeRebel

Signing up with PrizeRebel only takes 10 seconds to do and you could earn your gift card by tonight!

PrizeRebel reminds me of Swagbucks, wherein you can earn your rewards in a variety of ways.  From surveys to offer walls, videos, and even friend referrals, it’s not too hard to earn points.  You can even complete weekly and daily challenges to earn even more.  As I write this review, there were more than than $812 in paid online surveys.  That’s a lot of Walmart gift cards if that’s what you’re looking for.

To date, PrizeRebel has more than 10,000,000 members and has paid out more than $20 million in rewards.

E-Poll Surveys

E-Poll Surveys is another option if you’re looking to complete surveys in exchange for Walmart gift cards or a variety of other rewards for that matter.  It’s very simple to use and almost always has a few surveys to complete every day.

The company seems to always have surveys available, many of which $1+ in points.  Aside from surveys, you can even enter the monthly drawings to win up to $1,000.

E-Poll Surveys was founded in 1997 and is based in California.

InstaGC

As the name implies, InstaGC is instant.  That’s right.  Once you hit the minimum threshold, you can cash out your rewards and spend it almost immediately.

InstaGC works a lot like Swagbucks, only that they offer an instant payout, making for a great option if you need your Walmart gift card now.

From getting paid to test apps to surveys, tasks, and videos, this website can keep you busy for quite some time.

If you want your free Walmart gift card in as little as 24 hours, then I would check out this site as well.  Focus on the surveys as this is where most of your money is, allowing you to earn your gift card in as little as an hour in some cases.

MyPoints

MyPoints, owned by the same company as Swagbucks, also works in a similar way like Swagbucks and InstaGC.

I have found the surveys to be quite good, with some paying upwards of $5+.  As I write this, my dashboards showed at least 10+ surveys paying more than $1.

Now, the thing about MyPoints is that they use a wacky points system, making it hard to figure out how much you can earn, so be warned.  However, don’t let it stop you as you can still earn some points to cash out for a variety of prizes, including Walmart gift cards.

Aside from surveys, you can also earn points in shopping, watching videos, playing games and even booking your next vacation.

Ipsos i-Say

Quite possibly, Ipsos could be one of the largest companies on this list.  If you’re unfamiliar with the name, Ipsos is a market research company, founded in 1975.  Today, they employ more than 15,000 people in more than 80+ countries, making it the third largest survey-based research firms in the country.

If you want to work with one of the best, Ipsos i-Say allows you to earn rewards, yes, including a free Walmart gift card.

It’s easy to use as you can take surveys directly on your dashboard and earn points as a thank you for your feedback.  Aside from Walmart, Ipsos offers a variety of other rewards, from Amazon to even PayPal cash.

OneOpinion

OneOpinion conducts surveys on behalf of leading research marketing firms.  Unlike a lot of these, where you can earn in a variety of ways, OneOpinion focuses solely on surveys.  Honestly, this isn’t a bad thing as most of your money is made in the surveys anyways.

Once you join, simply log in and view your dashboard to see what kind of surveys are available to you at the time.  Once you hit 25,000 in points, you can trade those points in for rewards, including Walmart gift cards.

Currently, OneOpinion is open to both U.S. and U.K. citizens.

GrabPoints

GrabPoints claims to be one of the highest paying survey-like websites on the web.  And while it’s kind of true, at least according to my review, it’s yet another one to consider if you want to earn a free Walmart gift card.

The company works with a lot of offer walls, giving you a ton of options from additional providers.  If you’re unfamiliar with offer walls, these are providers that connect with these survey companies to offer you even more rewards.  So, while these surveys/offers don’t come directly from the company you’re using; instead, they pay the company a percentage of the offers/surveys you use.  You will find these offer walls on a lot of websites I mention here.

Grabpoints is very easy to use and can keep you busy for quite some time.  Best of all, they offer Walmart gift cards as a reward for your time.

Earnably

Earnably works a lot like GrabPoints, only that they have fewer offers.

Most of what you will find here will come from your third-party offer walls, such as Peanut Labs, AdscendMedia and AdGate, to name a few.  You can also earn money by watching videos, completing tasks and even downloading apps.

It’s another company I wrote about, so I recommend you check it out to see what they are all about.  Like all of the options listed, it’s 100% free to join.

GrindaBuck

This is a lesser-known company, but I do promise that they payout.  As I write this, they have paid out more than $598,000 in rewards and continue to grow.

The company works with more than 15 offer walls, where you complete surveys, micro tasks, offers and even download apps for cash.

To date, iRazoo has paid out more than $88 million in rewards, handing out thousands in free money every single day.

Like the many I have already mentioned, iRazoo works in the same way, wherein you can earn points in answering surveys, completing offers, downloading apps and much more.  They even have daily goals where you can earn bonus points.

iRazoo offers a ton of reward options, including Walmart.

Shopkick

Shopkick is one of the highest-rated money-making apps, allowing you to earn gift cards while on the go.  Yes, Walmart is an option.

To earn your free gift cards, all you need to do is open up the app and see where you can earn “kicks,” the app’s form of currency.  From simply checking in to a store to finding a product inside of the store and scanning a receipt, there are a ton of ways to earn.  Most of your tasks need to be done in person, however.

As I’m writing this, they have more than 10,000,000 million downloads and have given out more than $85 million in rewards.

Fetch Rewards

Fetch Rewards will reward you to simply scan your receipts every time you shop.  In doing so, you can earn points for the products any time they appear on your receipt.  It’s a company I have mentioned before, such as in my 41+ ways to make money from your phone and how to make PayPal money with no surveys posts.

Once you earn enough points, as little as 3,000, you can cash out for a variety of rewards, including Walmart gift cards.

Fetch Rewards was founded in 2012 and is slowly becoming one of the receipt scanning app leaders.

Walmart Gadget to Gift Cards Program

Do you have some electronics laying around the house that you no longer want and/or need?

If so, Walmart has a program known as the Gadget to Gift Cards program, wherein you can trade your device in for a Walmart gift card.

To see what your electronics are worth, simply head to this link, search for your trade-in and then see what Walmart is willing to offer you.  If you’re happy with the price, you can ship it to Walmart for free using a prepaid shipping label.  Upon confirmation, Walmart will send you an eGift Card directly to your email.

Ibotta

Ibotta is different from the rest of them as you will have to shop to earn a free gift card technically.  Hey, it’s free, so I will at least include it.  I try to include all of the options as possible.

If you’re unfamiliar with this app, it will reward you to shop as you normally would and you can earn cash back for every receipt you upload.  You can learn more about how it works in detail in my Ibotta review.  It’s quite easy, and I highly recommend you at least try it out for a while to see how much you can get back for the shopping you’re already doing.

It’s one to at least consider, seeing you probably shop anyways.  Once you hit $25 in rewards, you can cash out via PayPal or even choose from a variety of gift card options, including Walmart.

Drop App

This is another option that works similar to that of Ibotta.  You will have to shop, but if you were going to do so, you might as well earn a free gift card, right?

All you need to do is link your credit card and that’s it.  Every time you make a purchase, Drop will give you a certain percentage back as long as that retailer is part of their program.

There’s no need to worry about scanning receipts or even clipping a coupon.  It’s truly a hands-off app that pays you to do nothing.

Search for a Walmart Gift Card Giveaway

This one will take minimal effort, but it will take a pinch of luck.

Consider searching for Walmart gift card giveaways, all of which you can find via a Google search or even searching hashtags on Twitter or Instagram.  For example, #giftcardgiveaway or #walmart may yield some results.  If searching Google, just make sure you change your settings so that you’re viewing the most recent results.

As long as the website seems legit, enter your information, usually which is no more than your name, address and email.  If it asks for anything else, then you may want to question it.

Enter your name into a few and see what happens.  Who knows?  Maybe you can win $25 or so.

Final Thoughts

If it’s a free Walmart gift card that you’re looking for, then let it be known that it’s entirely possible.

Unfortunately, it won’t be as easy as clicking a button or filling out a form as some work is involved.  However, the plus side is that you can get started right now and it won’t take a lot of effort.  Honestly, it’s as easy as answering questions for companies and get rewarded in doing so.

Don’t expect to get rich doing this, but I find it as a great way to earn $5 to $10 a day if I combine a few of my favorites mentioned above.  Over the month, that’s an easy $150 to $300!
