A while back, I wrote about the 43+ survey companies that pay out via PayPal. If you want to take surveys and earn cash, then it’s a list you want to visit as I covered almost every option online.
But, what happens if you want free PayPal money, but you don’t want to take surveys? Okay, that’s fine as there are a ton of options!
Let it be known that it is possible, however, your options will be limited.
As with a lot of money making posts I have created in the past, the options I’m about to list won’t make you rich. In fact, I don’t even think it will replace a part-time job income. Instead, view it as a way to earn $25, $50 or maybe $100+. It really depends on how much effort you put into it, but I will mention a few options that could make you more than $1,000 a month. As with anything, it depends on how many hours you work in a week.
So, in today’s post, let’s jump in and take a look at the many options you can make money via PayPal without having to take a survey.
Free PayPal Money (No Surveys!)
NOTE: Nothing comes free in life as you will have to work for it. BUT, if you don’t want a 9-5 job, then this is the next best thing. There’s no such thing as instant money!
Survey Sites Have More Than Just Surveys
I have mentioned more than 80+ survey/research companies in the past, many of which just focus on surveys, yes.
But, let it be known that there are a ton of these companies that offer more money-making opportunities, from watching videos to completing offers.
While I don’t find these jobs as lucrative as doing surveys, money can be made, especially if you do the right offer or task. For instance, when I was writing this, I could try out DoorDash for the first time and earn $30 or $80 in points if I were to try the identity theft protection company, LifeLock. That’s $110 for about 5 minutes of my time. Options like this pop up all the time and can make you a TON of money if you do it right.
I’m not going to babble about all of these companies as I already did so here, but in short, these are some of my favorites…
- Swagbucks (my personal favorite)
- PrizeRebel
- InstaGC
- MyPoints
- Inbox Dollars
- GrabPoints
All of the above options offer PayPal opportunities and have many more options than just surveys.
Download a Mobile App
There are a ton of mobile apps where you can earn free PayPal cash in a matter of minutes.
Like the research companies I mentioned prior, I also wrote about the many apps that can make you money, including game apps to win real money, apps that pay you to download them and the 45+ apps to earn gift cards.
I don’t want to go into depth and explain each one as I have done via those guides, but to make things short again, these were some of my favorites from the list.
- AppBounty
- AppKarma
- AppNana
- AppRedeem
- AppTrailers
- Big Time Cash
- Bingo Win
- CheckPoints
- Coin Pop
- FeaturePoints
- Fetch Rewards
- FreeAppsFast.com
- iRazoo
- Lucky Day
- Mistplay
- Mobee
- Panel App
- Qmee
- Shopkick
As you can see, there’s a ton of them. From testing out apps to watching videos, there’s something that should be of interest.
All of these apps are 100% free and pay out in PayPal. Simply download the app, start doing whatever you have to do to earn your cash and request a payout.
Gigwalk
I was going to include Gigwalk in my mobile apps section above, but I feel it deserves its own section.
I have written about Gigwalk plenty of times, particularly in my work today, get paid today and 61+ ways to make $1,000 fast posts. I even reviewed them in depth. It’s one I recommend for a few reasons.
For one, it’s extremely easy to get started as you download it right now and work in seconds.
And, secondly, it’s very easy to use. Just load it when you’re out and about and complete any tasks that are of interest. Most of the jobs range from taking pictures of items on a shelf to auditing a display. You get to choose the tasks as you’re out, and everything you need to know is in the directions.
Field Agent
Field Agent works much like Gigwalk, wherein you can make money while you’re on the go.
The thing I like about Field Agent is that they often have a ton of tasks, ranging from $3 to $10+, many of which only take a few minutes to complete. I have used it a ton in the past and easily made $90+ a month. I have even read some people make $1,000 if they live in the right areas.
You will have to be out of the house to make money with Field Agent, but I usually just use it when I’m on the go.
To learn more about the app and how it works in depth, be sure to check out a review I wrote in the past.
Microworkers (Complete Small Tasks)
Microworkers is similar to that of Mturk, wherein you can complete short tasks at your own pace. They don’t pay much, but they add up as you can do a ton in one hour, especially when you get good at it.
From transcribing audio to gathering data for data entry purposes, there are usually quite a few jobs, all of which you can do at your own pace.
Once you earn $10, you can cash out via PayPal.
Scan Your Receipts
From now on, start saving your receipts as there are a ton of companies that pay you to upload them, no matter where you shop. It won’t make you rich, but it’s an easy way to earn $10 in a month.
Some of the more popular ones and my favorites, such as Receipt Hog and ReceiptPal, both pay out via PayPal, but there are many more, all of which I talk about in my 20 apps like Ibotta post.
Yes, it’s as simple as uploading and getting rewarded. Join as many as you can since you can upload your receipt to all of them at once.
Slice the Pie (Write Reviews)
If you don’t mind writing a short review, then Slice the Pie may be one to consider.
This company will pay you to leave short reviews for music clips, commercials and much more. Simply listen or watch the clip and leave your thoughts. It’s not that hard and the earnings can add up.
Let me warn that the company doesn’t pay a ton, but it’s a great way to earn PayPal cash almost instantly if you don’t mind exploring new things.
UserTesting.com (Test Websites)
UserTesting.com is an awesome way to make $10 for about 20 minutes of your time. I have mentioned this company so many times and found it as an amazing way to earn a $10 to $50+ a month.
As a UserTesting member, you will be asked to visit a website or an app and complete a set of tasks, all while speaking your thoughts out loud. The app is so easy to use, and as mentioned, every 20-minute video will net you $10, all of which will be sent to your PayPal account.
To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, have a PC or Mac with an internet connection, a microphone and the ability to speak your thoughts.
Get Paid to Type (Transcription or Writing)
If you can type at least 30 to 45+ words per minute, then consider typing in your free time to earn some cash via PayPal.
I wrote about this very topic in the past, highlighting more than 40+ companies that will pay you to type. There are quite a few, but some of my favorites that hire almost instantly include Rev.com, Textbroker.com and TranscribeMe. I recommend you check out the post as there are a ton of companies that are hiring right now.
Depending on the company you choose, some make you listen to audio and have you transcribe it, whereas other companies will make you write a small article on a certain topic. Again, as long as you can type and can even create a basic article off the top of your head, you shouldn’t have a hard time staying busy.
The great thing about all of these jobs is that you can work whenever you want. So, if you just want to type five dollars worth of transcription and take a break for a few weeks, you can do so.
Typing online can be quite lucrative, sometimes paying more than $20+ per hour once you start typing fast enough. And, the great thing is that many pay you directly via PayPal.
Freelance
In the freelancing world, there are a million and one ways to make money. I mean, take a look at this infographic (click to enlarge)…
This is an infographic I snagged from Upwork and can give you an idea as to what’s popular right now. Take a look and see if there’s anything of interest to you. I know there’s something that you could be interested in.
Even if you don’t feel you have a talent and want to learn, browse through the many topics and see if there’s anything you’re willing to learn. You have to learn sooner or later, right? There are so many great free resources where you can learn online, from YouTube to even a website. It really depends on the niche, but it shouldn’t be too hard to learn a skill within the year.
To start as a freelancer, there are so many platforms you can consider using, from Upwork to Fiverr, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour.com and so many more. You can also offer your services on very popular forums such as WarriorForum.com. Take a gander to see what’s hot and if it’s possible to tap into the market.
As a last note in regards to freelancing. It can take some time to land your first client, but it can pay off huge dividends in the future. To get started, these highly-rated Amazon books, many of which are free for Kindle Unlimited members, can help get you on the right path.
Tutor
There are a lot of well-known companies out there, such as Chegg, that will pay you to tutor other students from around the globe remotely.
Yes, you will need to have subject knowledge as you will need to pass a subject knowledge exam, but it could make for a great option if you don’t mind helping others with their school work.
Aside from Chegg, there are many other options to consider as well, all of which I covered in my 15+ websites that pay you to do homework.
Teach English Online
If you have a bachelor’s degree and a few hours to spare every week, consider teaching English to children and adults overseas. These gigs are an awesome way to make up to $25+ per hour, all while working in the comforts of your home.
There are a ton of reputable companies online, but some of the bigger names include VIPKid. You can view a list of more than 31+ online ESL teaching companies hiring right now in a post I wrote in the past.
If you’re charismatic and love teaching, this option is tough to beat.
Mystery Shopping
I talk about mystery shopping quite a bit, but it’s for a good reason. It’s an awesome way to start making money almost immediately, and most of the companies I mention pay out via PayPal. Plus, you can work whenever you please, with some job opportunities allowing you to work at home.
In short, you will shop undercover and answer questions at the end of your trip. In a lot of scenarios, you can get paid for the items you purchase and for the time spent on the job. It’s not unheard of to make $50 for one mystery shopping trip.
There are so many companies out there, so like the other topics I talked, I’m not going to get into details as I have already talked about this very topic before.
To learn more, check out my favorite 75+ mystery shopping companies or these 16+ companies that offer telephone mystery shopping opportunities.
Rakuten Shopping (Get Money Shopping Online)
If you plan on shopping anytime soon, make sure you’re always using a cashback website as you can get a certain percentage back on your purchase, sometimes as much as 10%. This one isn’t a money-maker per se, but it can just help you save on an upcoming online purchase. Picture it like a rebate of sorts.
Rakuten, formerly known as Ebates, is one of my favorites, but there are many more, all of which pay via PayPal.
Even if you don’t plan on shopping anytime soon, be sure to research the many cashback shopping websites as there are a lot of them. To make it easier, I have researched many of them in my ultimate make money online guide.
Sell Your Old Stuff
Have some old stuff of value laying around?
If so, you may want to consider listing it on one of the many platforms online, not just eBay.
In the past, I have created many guides you may want to check out, from the best Craigslist alternatives to where to sell baby clothes, art, used CDs, furniture and even your wedding dress. I even wrote about the many ways you can hold a virtual garage sale.
Don’t want to sell? That’s fine as Decluttr will offer you an instant quote, saving you a TON of time.
No matter what you want to sell, you will find that there’s often a niche website that can help get your item sold. Check out the many guides I linked above to see how you can start listing your items and earning PayPal cash.
Final Thoughts
If you want free PayPal money and you want no surveys, then it can be done, as you can see.
I tried to cover all bases, offering options that only take a few minutes of your time to earn a few bucks, whereas some options could make you a full-time option, but it will take some effort on your end. Since I don’t know exactly what you want, I’ll leave it up to you to explore what I have mentioned. There’s something for all, I promise you that!
As always, every single option I mention is 100% legitimate and will never mislead you in any way. If you feel there’s an option on this list that’s misleading or not worth your time, then, by all means, leave a comment below.
Other than that, if you want free PayPal cash, it’s possible, but it will take a pinch of your time as nothing comes free in life.
