83+ Best Paid Survey Sites That Pay in 2023

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

The web is filled with thousands of guides on ways to make money with surveys.

And yes, while some are awesome, some are either outdated or really just push a few surveys, making it frustrating to find a good company.

If you’re unfamiliar with surveys, they will simply reward you with either cash or gift cards, most of the time, every time you answer questions on a survey.  Yes, it is as simple as it sounds.

My goal today is to list EVERY reputable survey company I found online and list each company below in a simple way.   Each company is 100% free and should only take a few seconds to sign up.

Now, keep in mind that most people rate survey companies poorly and it’s hard to find one that has the perfect five-star rating.

Why is that?

I feel that most people look at surveys the wrong way.

Some people want to make hundreds of dollars doing it, while others expect to be approved for every survey they click on.

As long as you go in knowing you’re not going to get rich and you won’t get approved every time you click a survey link, these companies really are not that bad.

In the end, try to join as many as possible to really increase your earning potential.

With all of that being said, I’m going to offer a small snippet, telling you a pinch about the company, the payment methods they offer, and how much you can expect to earn.  I’ll make it as easy as possible to skim.

Hopefully, when you’re finished, you found a few that can earn you a few dollars every month.

Earn the Most From Survey Sites Tips

Organize Your Email

If you never signed up with a survey-like website before, I wanted to point out that you will be BOMBARDED with a ton of emails, with some sending you multiple emails in a day.

Personally, I set up a separate email address for survey websites only, and I highly recommend you do the same to separate the promotional e-mails from your personal stuff.

Creating a new email is free and can be done on Gmail or Yahoo in a matter of minutes.

Never Pay

I can’t iterate this enough — NEVER pay to join a survey website.

As you can see from the massive list mentioned above, I included TONS of survey websites that are 100% free to join and are willing to start paying you for your opinion.

And if you EVER see a company asking for your credit card in exchange for a list of survey websites, run!

Just like a job, you should never pay to get employed.

In the end, never give out any credit card or banking information.  It’s just going to bite you in the butt.

Sound Too Good?

Unfortunately, it’s going to be tough to make more than $10+ an hour.

In fact, don’t play on making a full-time living doing this.  Just expect to earn enough to have a small shopping spree here and there.

If you do come across a survey website promising you the moon, then it’s safe to say it’s probably a fake.

Use a Roboform

A lot of these websites are pretty repetitive in what they ask, and to save yourself the time from typing the same thing over and over again, I highly recommend a Roboform.

This software can fill out form fields automatically and even securely remember your passwords if you so choose.

If you plan on signing up for a variety of these websites, then again, I recommend you take the time to download the software to save you a ton of time.

Final Thoughts

I’m going to continue to add more survey companies as I find more, but for now, I think these 80 should be more than enough to get you started.  If you just want surveys you can do on your phone, then I do recommend you check out my 25+ favorite survey apps.

As I already mentioned, try to join as many of these as possible to really increase your chances at earning.

It also gives you the opportunity to find out which one works for you since your demographic generally determines how many surveys you will get.  What works for you may not work for me.

If you know of any or simply want to voice your opinion about one of the companies above, do let me know as I would love to hear about them!

  • I’ve tried a lot of those some I never even got 1 survey. Most end up making you .50 if that a hour. The only one I’ve done and paid out over and over is paid viewpoint. Pinecone was great when it was 5.00 each but after they changed to 3 each and time in the hospital I got booted out. Inbox was great for about the first 5.00 then it got where I never could get past the pre questions. So I’m waiting for it to get better.

  • I’ve tried a LOT of survey sites over the past few months but the best I’ve run into (as far as when you factor in rejections, rewards and quick payouts) is an app called quickthoughts. 90% of surveys are $1 a piece, they can be as short as 1 minute or as long as 30 (I recommend not doing any over 15 minutes as they are constantly changing surveys and new ones will inevitably come along and be faster) and the payout is instant at $10 if you want. Though, it’s only an Amazon gift card code, so if that’s not your thing, then this isn’t for you.

    • Great question! In most cases, the answer is no, however, it varies from survey company. Swagbucks, for instance, issued this statement on Reddit:

“If you won a sweepstakes prize with a retail value worth more than $600 from Swagbucks, and completed, signed and returned an IRS Form W-9 for us at the time we paid out your prize winnings, we will report the retail value of the prize to the IRS and send you an IRS Form 1099 by the end of January of the following year, so that you may report that income as Miscellaneous Income on your tax return.

Otherwise, we do not report any Swagbucks earning/rewards activity to the IRS, as our members may earn Swagbucks in a variety of ways that would not constitute taxable income requiring reporting to the IRS.

If you have any questions regarding your personal tax situation, you should consult your tax preparer for advice.”

      I hope this helps!
