Freecash Review: 17 Minutes to First Cash Out?

Freecash.com, which was known as Freeskins in the past, works with multiple third-party companies that reward you to download apps, complete surveys as well as offers, to name a few. They used to focus mainly on gaming skins, but since they have grown, they offer many rewards aside from this, such as PayPal and even Bitcoin.

As I write this, the company has more than 1,600 active offers, with some paying upwards of $100.  This number is always changing but it seems to always be in the four figure range.

And, while this will sound like a lot, Freecash isn’t much different than the survey/GPT-like websites I have talked about, however, there are some key differences, one being you can cash out in less than 17 minutes, on average.  Freecash is a nice way to earn some extra cash in your spare time, but don’t just plan on quitting your day job since most people only make a few dollars a day. This can be said with any survey-like website, though.

Indeed, Freecash is legit, having paid out more than $17 million since opening its doors, but does it live up to the “#1 site to make money” online?

Let’s see!

Signing Up for an Account

To sign up, it’s as easy as entering your email as well as confirming your password.  You can also connect your Google or Steam account if you choose to do so.

No matter how you sign up, you can open a free case and win a prize, starting at $0.05 up to $250.  Honestly, 99% of us will win the $0.05, but it’s better than nothing, seeing a lot of these websites don’t offer a sign-up bonus of any sorts.

The nice thing about Freecash is that it’s open almost worldwide and you only need to be at least 13+ years old to join.  There are some limitations as to which countries cannot join but I found them to be very limiting.

You can use Freecash either on your mobile phone via the official app or on the desktop version.

NOTE:  If you sign up with this link, you will get a free case to open, which can contain up to $250 for free.

Earning Money with Freecash

After you sign up, you can earn money with Freecash in a variety of ways, again, many of which you can find on competing websites such as Swagbucks and Superpay.me.

Every time you complete an offer, you will earn coins, with every 1,000 coins worth $1 in value.

To start earning, you can do so directly from your dashboard, which the company breaks down into the following categories:

#1 – Featured Offers

These tend to be the offers that most people frequently sign up for and you will see this advertised right at the top of your dashboard.  Like all offers, some are 100% free, whereas some may cost you money.

Even if the offer costs you money, remember that you can still come out ahead.  For example, that Acorns offer requires you to deposit $5 to your account, however, Freecash will pay you $42, which makes it a $37 money maker.  Just do the math to make sure they make sense.

#2 – Offer Walls

The offer walls Freecash uses can be found just about on any competing website.  These include the popular ones such as RevU, AdGate and OfferToro, to name a few.

And, how these work, if you’re not familiar with them, is simple.

All you need to do is open the “offer wall” up and then browse the current offers.  Each wall usually has varying offers, but how you earn the coins is straight forward.  Just follow the prompts, similar to what you see in the screenshot above in the featured offers section.

The bad thing about offer walls is that they can be found everywhere, so you won’t find much in terms of uniqueness, but this doesn’t mean you should at least check them out.

If you do complete any of these offers, make sure that you always compare the rates on a few competing websites as you will find that some websites are much more generous in their payouts than others.  Since these offer walls act as a middleman, they pay the companies such as Freecash and then they pay a percentage of the profits on to you.  How much they pay depends on how much they want to share.  Your results will vary.

#3 – Surveys

Like the offer walls, the surveys section is filled with a few third-party providers as well, such as CPX Research and Pollfish.

These surveys can be found elsewhere as well, but in my research, Freecash does seem to pay a decent payout.  Pay close attention to the popularity stats as this will show you which surveys are converting the best for other users.

How much do the surveys pay?

Depending on the offer wall you choose, most pay an average of 500 to 3,000+ points, which means you can earn about $0.50 to $3 in rewards, on average, for every survey you complete.  Just remember that you won’t qualify for every survey you click on.  In some cases, you may find that some surveys pay more than this.

To maximize your earnings, make sure you fill out your demographic profile so that these offer walls can send you targeted surveys.

Leaderboards

The cool thing about Freecash is that they are always giving away bonuses to the leaders for the month as well as each day.

For example, when I was writing this, they were giving away more than $20,000 in rewards, with the top person receiving 50,000 coins, which is equivalent to $500 every single day.  If you were the leader for just one day, you could earn $500.  In all of my reviewing, I have never seen a contest being this generous.  However, this seemed to be a limited time event.  Nonetheless, they always seem to have these contests.

As for the monthly contest, you need to fall in the top 1000, on average, which isn’t too bad.  If you do so, you will receive some sort of bonus from the company, ranging from as much as $250 to as little as a few dollars.

Cashing Out

When it comes time to cash out, the great thing is that you only need $0.25 in coins to start your cash out.  Granted, it’s only for Crypto withdrawals, but this is one of the lowest thresholds in the industry.  If you’re a fan of cryptocurrency, then this is a site to put high on your list since you don’t need much to cash out.

If you want any of the other options that don’t revolve around crypto, then you will only need $5 to start the cash out process.

According to the company, most payouts only take five minutes to process, but PayPal can take up to 24 hours.  However, once you’re verified, all payouts are instant, with the exception of PayPal as they need to be manually approved by the staff.

You can see in the screenshot above that they have a variety of gift card options, including Amazon, Apple, Google Play and even Netflix.

Aside from gift cards, you can also choose from a variety of gaming skins from games such as CS GO, Fortnite, Roblox and League of Legends.  Most of these redemptions start at $10.

The Pros:

  • can sign up and win up to $250
  • great leaderboard prizes (top 1,000 win)
  • good support
  • payments start at $0.25
  • crypto payments (Bitcoin and more)
  • very easy to use
  • fast payout

The Cons:

  • only works mainly with third-party offer walls (not a lot of unique opportunities)
  • some offers take a while to credit
  • some countries may not make as much
  • won’t make a ton

Final Thoughts

8/10Freecash is 100% legit and it’s fun to use.  You can make a small amount of money, but like any GPT site, don’t expect to get rich.   I think you can make $5 to $8~ a day with some work, but not much more than that unless you invest a lot of your time into it, which I don’t recommend.

Overall, it’s a good site for what it is.  As long as you know you won’t quit your day job, it’s an okay side job to pay for a lunch or two.

There’s a lot going for Freecash and there’s a reason I would put it at the top of my list.  I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest nor would I say it’s the worst.  It’s worth checking out.  Remember, if you follow this link, you can get a special case filled with a bonus of up to $250.

That does it for now.
