Gamehag Review: Get Rewarded to Play Games

Gamehag is one of the many websites that pay you to play games.  If you love playing games and want to get rewarded in doing so, Gamehag may be an option to consider.  You will never get rich but you can make something.

In today’s review, I want to talk about this somewhat popular platform.  Can you make money?  Is it legit?  Is it a scam?

These are all great questions to think about and it’s the reason I created the website.  I wanted to separate the good from the bad that you find online.

What is Gamehag?

Gamehag is a GPT-like (get-paid-to) website that rewards you to play games.  You will find a game that’s of interest and then play it for free.  And, as you can complete the quests, you can earn what’s known as soul gems, which is the in-house game currency.  You can then turn around and convert these soul gems into rewards, such as steam wallet keys, Robux gift cards, PayPal cash and much more.

The company is a privately held company based in Poland with fewer than 50 employees, according to the LinkedIn profile, and they have connected with more than seven million games, giving away 20+ million in prizes.  With 13 million visits every month, there’s no doubt it’s a legitimate platform; however, the true question is if it’s worth your time.

There are a variety of ways to earn on GameHag, which I will talk about below.  Most relate to games, but you can earn with third-party offerwalls, which are commonly found on other money-making websites.

Playing Games

Whenever you log in, you should see a dashboard that looks something like this:

You will see the “recommended quests” as well as the “our quests” tab, which will highlight a variety of games you can play to earn soul gems, which are the green looking gems next to the game.

If you see the Rise of Kingdoms game in the screenshot above, you will see that you can earn 9,071 gems, 100 XP and a potential 21,1165 gems.  If you were to reach level 17, as noted, you would earn 9,071 gems, and then, you would earn more as you level up and complete more quests.  That’s what the locked gems is for.  Many games will allow you to continue to earn gems as you play.

There were probably about 10 to 15 games I could play at the time, but there were other simple tasks as well, as you can see above, such as liking their Facebook profile, being active for 7+ days, etc.  Most of these games are on most get paid to play sites and are usually games that entice you to buy something in the game to level up.

Just pay close attention to what you need to do to earn the reward.  Most are straight forward and require you to complete particular tasks within the game, such as reaching a level, etc.

Offerwalls

Aside from playing games, you can also earn with a variety of third-party offerwalls.  This includes some bigger names such as RevU, OfferToro, AdGate, etc.  These are commonly found on so many survey sites and aren’t all that special or unique.

What you can do here is click on an offerwall of interest and then complete offers, surveys and much more.  These offers typically don’t pay much, but it’s something to consider if you want to earn a dollar or two.

Every offer wall is 100% legitimate.  Just complete the offer as noted and you should get rewarded within 24 hours.

Rewards

The company offers a wide variety of rewards, from game keys to gift cards, premium licenses and much more.

The rewards you see in the screenshot are some of the more popular rewards, which include random Steam keys, Robux gift cards, PayPay, Steam cards, Google Play and even League of Legends rewards.

How much are your gems worth?

If you’re looking at it from a PayPal perspective, every 1000~ points are worth about $1; however, as you wait to cash out, you can use fewer gems to redeem a reward.

For example, $1 in PayPal cash will cost you 1,299 gems; however, if you were to wait until a $20 PayPal payout, you only need 16,799 gems.  This is a significant saving.

With that being said, it’s hard to give a definite answer, but 1,000 points are close to $1 in value usually.

When will I get my reward?

Depending on the reward, the company states you can receive it in as little as 10 minutes; however, sometimes, it may take up to 72 hours.  According to the terms, they do have up to 30 days to deliver it, however.

How much can you make?

Don’t expect to earn much, as some of these games can take some time to earn your rewards.

For example, reaching level 17 on that Rise of Kingdoms game could take hours and you would only earn about $9 for your time.  This could equate to less than one dollar per hour.

I don’t think you can earn much, maybe $1 to $5 a week, maybe more, but if you’re already playing games, it’s something to consider, I suppose.

Signing Up

If you’re interested in signing up for an account, it only takes a minute to do.

You can either connect your Facebook, Google, Steam account or you can create an account on the platform itself.  It’s up to you.

Just provide your email address, password, a user name and you can access your dashboard immediately. Once you join, they will allow you to complete a few simple tutorials for gems.  This is optional, but I recommend you at least check it out as it gives you a better idea as to how the website works in detail.

You can sign up and play games on your desktop or you can download the official app via the Google Play or iTunes Store.

Gamehag is open globally to those 18+ years old.

Final Thoughts

Gamehag is no different than most sites that pay you to play games.  You won’t make a ton, but you could make maybe $5 to $10 a week, at most.  If you’re the type that wants a Robux gift card or random Steam game code for a few gems, then, sure it’s a quick way to do so.  Other than that, I don’t see too much value in it.

5/10Let it be known that the website is legit and they do pay, so if you start playing games, you will get paid as long as you abide by the terms.  Just don’t expect much.  Also, make sure that you’re valuing your time as well, not playing games that will take you hours to only earn a dollar or two.

That’s going to wrap it up.
