GetPaidtoTry Reviews: A Huge No Go

GetPaidtoTry.com, as seen on TV, at least they claim, will help you discover new offer deals in your inbox every time.  At the time of this review, they said I could get a $5 instant activation bonus and a $20 extra bonus opportunity.

If you’re not familiar with making money online, the site looks okay, at least at first glance, but is it really worth handing over your personal information to discover new offer deals?

As in all of my reviews, I try to save you the hassle of signing up.  I sign up, I let you know what they do and if it’s worth your time.  As always, I only recommend what I would sign up for, no matter what my relationship is with the company.

If you want to complete surveys/offers and make a few bucks, let’s jump in and see if GetPaidtoTry.com is worth your time.

What is GetPaidtoTry.com?

GetPaidtoTry.com appears to be an aggregator of sorts that will send you offer deals every day to your inbox.  From paid surveys to trial offers, they will send you anything that may make you money.

But, the question is, do they send you offers that legitimately can help you or is it helping their pocketbook?  That’s the true question here.

According to the about us page, GetPaidtoTry states they are a free site that pays its members to try out products and services.  They didn’t say much in terms of who they are, but looking at the privacy policy, it appears they are operated by a company named SBG Media, which appears to be a media company based in Brooklyn, New York.  On their official company website, they claim to be the industry leader with more than a decade worth of experience optimizing and solidifying our clients’ online presences.

Signing up for GetPaidtoTry.com

To sign up for GetPaidtoTry.com, it’s a lot different than most of your survey companies, wherein you create an account and then log into your dashboard to take surveys.

Instead, GetPaidtoTry.com asks you to sign up for an account so that they can email you every day.

The funny thing about this site is that as you’re signing up, they have a countdown, making it seem like they are running out of panel spots.  Not only is this a common spammy tactic by most, the company would constantly bombard me with pop-ups as I was browsing as well as asking me to turn on notifications.  Trust me, panel spots are available.  It wasn’t the greatest experience.

The “New Offer Deals”

So, what happens after you sign up?

Well, for one, the company bombards you with so many great offers!  Note that there’s a lot of sarcasm here.

As they “process” your membership, they ask you to “enjoy” your offers, such as this one.

I know these offers look great at first glance, but I promise you that these offers are nothing but junk and are going to sell off your email and personal information.  There’s nothing great about them.

If you do decide to stay around and view these “great” offers, you could be clicking on what seems like 100+.  It took forever it seemed.

Anyways, once you do get to the end, you can earn a $20 bonus if you complete the following offers…

Again, they lie and say that so many offers are available, which is false.  I know this because I’m in the industry and I know how it works.   And, again, it’s all garbage, please trust me.  It’s only making them money, not you.

If you were to complete all of the offers, which I highly recommend you don’t, you then have to email them to get your payment.  That’s right.  No dashboard or nothing to keep track.  I wouldn’t trust it.

The Offers Continue

After you click on 100+ offers and browse the awful list of opportunities to earn $20, you can then complete the offers, each of which has a set amount you can earn.

As you can see, there aren’t many.  In fact, I think I counted 10, which is is not a lot in comparison to Swagbucks and InstaGC, etc.

If you do complete these offers, which, again, I don’t recommend you use this company, they will credit your account, in which you can log into your dashboard and view your balance.

To request a payment, you will need at least $20 to do.  All payments are made via PayPal unless you want a physical check.

Final Thoughts

0/10In the end, HIGHLY AVOID GetPaidtoTry.com.  They will just bombard you with spam, offer you very few offers that make sense, and they will hope that you click “yes” on one of the hundred spammy offers they promote.  They don’t care about the user, as I have researched, and only care about their pocketbook.  There’s nothing good about this service, I promise you that.

If you want to complete offers and/or surveys, it can be done via other sites that are much more reputable such as Swagbucks and InstaGC.  I have been in this industry for quite some time and highly recommend starting with these two.  You can also check out my get paid to complete offers guide to see what other companies exist out there.  Just let it be known that you can make money doing surveys and offers.  It won’t be here, however.
