Global Survey Group Review: Should You Join?

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

Global Survey Group is one of the many websites online that pay you for your opinions.  At first, it looks like any other website, but the true question here is if it’s worth your time.

Answering surveys is one of the best ways to earn money online if you want to start immediately.  While you won’t get rich in doing so, I believe you can make $10 to $50+ per week relatively easy as long as you’re using the right websites.  There are a lot of them out there, and it’s the main reason I wanted to create this website to separate the garbage from the good.

In today’s review, I will examine Global Survey Group in depth, as I do in all of my reviews, to determine if it’s worth signing up for.  As always, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

What is the Global Survey Group?

The Global Survey Group is one of the many survey websites out there that pay you to answer simple survey questions.  It’s operated by a company called Trancos, Inc., which is a ” leading marketing media company that has delivered millions of customers on a pay-for-performance basis to small, medium and large businesses worldwide.”  The company is based in Roseville, California, and it seems to be a very legitimate company.  I have no concerns with the legitimacy here.

Creating an Account

If you want to start taking surveys, then the registration process is as simple as most survey sites.  To get started, you will need to add your basic contact information, such as your name, address, zip code, etc.

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to create a password since they will email you all of this information once you sign up.  Be sure to be on the lookout for this email immediately after joining.

The process takes a minute at most and you can start earning immediately.

If you want to join, you must be based in the United States and older than 18.

The Surveys

The Global Survey Group only allows you to take surveys, but what’s different about it is that they work with what seems like a third-party provider in a separate window, as you can see in the screenshot below.

While the surveys seem to be okay, they don’t come from the Global Survey Group directly.  Rather, if you click on that FAQ link within the window, it directs you to the Opinionetwork.com website, which seems to be unrelated to Global Survey Group.  This is odd, as most survey sites will work with third parties, but they will integrate the surveys within their system.  It won’t be framed in as this site does.

Simply put, the surveys that you do see here are offered by a legitimate company, but all that the Global Survey Group is doing is adding a simple script to make money off any survey you take.  They are just the middleman in a sense.  While there’s nothing wrong with this, you won’t find much in terms of exclusivity.

How much can you make?

Seeing most surveys average about $0.50 to $3 each, I believe you can make about $2 to $5 a day if you were to focus on the right surveys.  Remember that you won’t always qualify for every survey, as there will be disqualifications.  However, if you fill out that profile seen on your dashboard, this can increase your odds since you will receive more targeted surveys.  Your earnings will be limited, and I don’t recommend you focus on this survey site if you were to use one.

Rewards

All of your rewards are intertwined into your dashboard whenever you sign in.  Rewards start at $10 and come in a variety of gift card options, from Amazon to Walmart.  They don’t seem to have a cash option, such as PayPal, nor do they have a virtual Visa prepaid card.  Your choices will be limited to a select few retail gift cards.

The rewards seem to be okay.  The $10 minimum threshold is kind of high in comparison to most who start at $5, but I don’t see it as a negative.  As for choices, they do have Amazon, which seems to be a great choice for many, but they do lack the PayPal option, which is even more popular than Amazon for most.

Final Thoughts

3/10In the end, I wouldn’t recommend Global Survey Group.  It’s not because it’s a scam; rather, they just point you in the direction of another company and they only work with one option.  That’s not going to give you much diversity nor are you going to make much.  I would recommend you check out Superpay.me or Swagbucks for many more options to keep you busy.

That’s going to wrap it up for now.

If you’re thinking about joining, I would say look for something better, but if you do join, just let it be known you won’t make much.  It does pay, but again, I don’t find it to be worth your time.

As always, if you want to comment on the company and/or add to what I have written, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.  Thanks for stopping by.
