Idle Empire is a company I have mentioned many times before, such as in my free Blizzard gift cards and how to get free Gamestop gift cards post. It’s a legitimate GPT website that offers you a variety of ways to earn, from surveys to offer walls.
Like the many GPT sites I talk about, you won’t make a ton with these websites, but I feel you can earn $20 to $50~ a month, maybe more, maybe less, all depending on how hard you work at it.
If you want to start working right now and don’t mind answering some survey questions or completing offers, then Idle Empire is the perfect consideration.
In today’s post, I will talk about Idle Empire in depth. Is it legit? Is it a scam?
As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time. Let’s begin.
What is Idle Empire?
Idle Empire is one of the older GPT sites online that pays you in points to complete a variety of tasks, mainly surveys and offers. I will explain how each of these options work.
If you’re curious as to if you will get paid, don’t fret, as the company is 100% legitimate and they will pay you if you meet the minimum threshold. However, as I state in all of my reviews, just because it’s legitimate, it doesn’t always mean it’s worth your time. That’s why I wanted to create this post.
In the past, when the company first started, they focused solely on the Counter Strike game, giving users the opportunity to earn in-game skins without having to buy them. However, this has since changed, as the company offers many rewards today, not just in-game skins. The cool thing about Idle Empire is that they focus more on gaming rewards, so if that’s something of interest to you, then this is a company to consider since you find a lot of gaming-related rewards that you can’t find elsewhere.
As I write this, they have more than 500,000+ users and they continue to grow to this day.
Making Money on Idle Empire
As you can see from the screenshot below, you can earn money in a variety of ways.
Most of your money will be made with surveys, however, there’s a decent amount of cash in the offers section as long as you’re completing the right ones. Below, I will talk about each option and how it works in detail.
#1 Surveys
Idle Empire is just like the many GPT sites on the internet.
They work with a ton of third-party offer walls, many of which, again, can be found on other sites. Some of the more popular ones include Peanut Labs, CPX Research and TheoremReach, to name a few.
To start earning coins, click on the “Start Earning” button and then browse the list of surveys to find one that makes the most sense to you. Seeing the company has a ton of third-party offer wall options, you should always find some surveys to complete.
#2 Offerwalls
The offer walls work just like the survey section.
As you can see in the screenshot, you can find a variety of third-party companies in the left sidebar that you can click on and the offers on the right. These offers will vary between the companies noted.
Offers can pay quite a bit, but you will want to make sure the offer is worth your time and investment. These offers can often range from downloading something to purchasing something. Let it be known that you can complete offers without investing any cash. Everything you need to know about the offer will be shown to you in the description.
For example, that “Opera GX” offer seen above requires you to simply download the Opera browser and then open it to earn 16,000 points. This is an easy offer, and it’s one I would probably do, seeing it would only take a minute to do.
Now, don’t get too excited by the 16,000 points, as it isn’t as much as you think it is. I will talk about it more in the rewards section, but every 10,000 points are worth about $1~ in rewards.
#3 Offers
Offers will work just like the offer wall section, only that it appears that you can filter out your offers so that you can find something that suits you. It’s not much different, at least from what I saw.
As you can see in that screenshot, you can strictly look at “free” offers or if you’re looking for a shopping option, you can do so. You can also choose the provider if you have a favorite.
At any given moment, it appears they work with at least 10 to 15 providers, so you should always be able to find an offer that can make you some cash. Remember, if you do these offers, just make sure they make sense as there are often a lot of offers that simply are not worth your time.
#4 Videos
Videos are always a waste of time, and you’re not going to make a lot of money. I’m talking $1 per day if that.
Idle Empire works with a third-party called Hideout TV, one I have reviewed before. As you can see from the screenshot above, you can earn 50 COINS for every three ads you watch. That is horrendous. If you do the math, that’s 20 sets of ads (60 total ads) to earn $1 in points. Every ad lasts about 30 seconds, so that’s 1,800 seconds of videos or 30 minutes of video. So, you’re only making $1 per half hour of constant watching.
I just wanted to mention this as it’s a way to make money, but I never find it to be that appealing.
#5 Referrals
Like many GPT sites, Idle Empire will also pay you every time a referral signs up using your link.
At the moment, the company will pay you 20% of what your referrals earn, which is much higher than the industry average, as some companies only pay a flat fee whereas others only pay 5 or 10%, if that.
To start earning, just share your special link found on your referral page and keep track of your progress on your referral page. Just make sure you don’t spam the link in any way since this can put your account in jeopardy.
Rewards and Getting Paid
As I briefly mentioned prior, every 10,000 points is worth about $1, and you will need at least 1,000 points, a $0.10 value, to start cashing out for rewards.
All of your cryptocurrency options, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Payeer, start at 1,000 coins, but other options, mainly gift cards, start at 58,500 points, about $5 in value.
While I was writing this, Idle Empire, offered the following reward options:
- Coinbase (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Stellar)
- Payeer
- Steam gift cards
- Valorant gift cards
- Amazon gift cards
- Roblox gift cards
- Random steam games
- Paysafecards gift cards
- PlayStation Store gift cards
- iTunes gift cards
- Xbox Live gift cards
- Google Play gift cards
- Swap.gg gift cards
- League of Legends gift cards
- Eneba gift cards
- Nintendo gift cards
- Fortnite V Bucks
- eBay gift cards
- ShadowPay gift cards
- Apex Legends coins
- Minecraft Minecoins
- Lootbear gift cards
- Nextflix gift cards
- GameStop gift cards
- Spotify gift cards
- Xbox Live
- RuneScape gift cards
- EA gift cards
- Blizzard gift cards
- Hulu Plus gift cards
These are subject to change, and you can find all of your reward options on the “withdraw” tab. They do add rewards on occasions.
What makes it nice is that they have a lot of gift card options that can’t be found elsewhere, mainly in the games sector, such as Minecraft coins and VBucks. So, if you’re looking for in-game currencies, this is a platform to highly consider. Netflix and Hulu Plus cards are rare options, too.
All redemptions take about 24 hours to complete.
How Much Can I Make?
This is a question often asked in all of my reviews, and the answer is it depends.
How much you make will depend on which offers you’re doing, how long you’re going to work as well as your demographics. There are a lot of factors involved, but don’t expect to make much, even if you’re working at it a lot.
On average, plan on casually earning $5~ per day, maybe a pinch more. This is standard among the bigger GPT sites, including Idle Empire. I always stress you can’t make much, but if you’re happy with an extra $100~ per month, then that’s doable.
Signing Up
If you do want to sign up and start completing offers and taking surveys, then it’s fairly easy to sign up.
All you need to provide is your name, email address as well as create a password. You can then access the dashboard immediately after signing up.
To qualify, you must be at least 13 years old. It’s open to users worldwide, but do keep in mind that some countries won’t see as many offers as others.
Final Thoughts
7/10In the end, Idle Empire isn’t too bad. They work with a lot of third-party offer walls, so you won’t find too much in uniqueness, but this isn’t a bad thing. I wouldn’t say this option is my favorite, but I would recommend it if you’re looking for specific video game in-game currencies or you only want a few dollars in cryptocurrency. This is a huge perk if using the platform.Again, Idle Empire is 100% legitimate, so you will get paid if you meet the minimum threshold and cash out.
You won’t make much, but this can be said about any GPT-like site.
That’s going to wrap it up.
