Lucky Match App Review: Legit? Eh.

The Lucky Match app is one of the many apps on the app store that rewards you to win cash prizes when you complete scratch-off games or other related casino-like games, such as playing a slot machine.  It’s free to play, and you never have to risk a penny, but is it worth your time?

In today’s review, I wanted to talk about the Lucky Match app and how it works.  Whether you’re looking for a free casino-like game where you win money or maybe you want to know more about it, let’s see if it’s worth your time.  As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Getting Started

At the moment, Lucky Match is only available for your phone, either via the Google Play Store or iTunes.  You cannot play it on your desktop, and unfortunately, they will never release one because most apps that work like this heavily rely on mobile-like ads to make their money.

Once you download the app, you will immediately be able to play the game.  No account is necessary, however, all of your progress will be tied to your phone, so if you lose your phone or change it, for example, you will have to recover your account.

What you see above is what your dashboard looks like as well as what you’re going to play to earn tokens.

To earn tokens, you will have to match more than three symbols in a row and you will have to complete the number of moves as noted.  You could see I have “12” moves left before it ends.

Once the level completes, you will earn a certain number of tokens.

In my case, I earned 36 tokens playing the first level, however, if I watched a 30 to 60 second ad, I could double it and earn 72 total tokens.  This is up to you as to what you want to do.

After most completions, you can then scratch a lottery scratcher where you can win prizes, such as bonuses, tokens or even real cash.

Whenever you complete a puzzle, you will always be re-directed to your dashboard, which will look something like the picture seen above.  Let me quickly explain how each item works.

The tokens allow you to buy $25 to $1,000 raffle tickets, which will cost about 2,500 to 15,000.  For every ticket, you will simply be entered into the raffle.

As for the spin wheel, you can simply spin the wheel to win prizes, while the quests will give you bonuses whenever you complete the “quests.”  These always vary, but think something like “reach level 10, etc”

Lastly, the raffle will let you buy tickets as well as see who the winners were in the past.

Your Wallet

To earn money on the app, you can only do so with the cash that you win, usually in the scratch cards at the end of the puzzle.  You can also win it in other ways, such as spinning the wheel or even the raffle, but for the most part, it will come from the scratchers.

As you can see, you will need at least $7 to cash out, which isn’t that high, and you can choose from PayPal or Amazon when it comes time to cash out.

The Problem With This App

While it appears you can reach the $7 threshold, it’s going to take you a long time and you’re going to have to watch a TON of ads.  Sometimes, these ads are much longer than 30 seconds, too. That’s just how these apps work.

Once you start playing, you will have to watch more than enough ads where you will probably feel as if it’s not even worth your time.  However, not everyone thinks that.  If you feel you can fight through the apps, then it may not feel as annoying, but to me, it’s not worth it.

If you play the app frequently, many say you can reach the payout every few days, however, if you’re a casual user, you may only see a payout every month.

Nonetheless, even if you feel you can watch the ads, you won’t get rich.

The Pros:

  • some say it’s fun to play
  • you can earn money playing
  • variety of puzzle games

The Cons:

  • TONS of ads (biggest frustration)
  • difficult to cash out for some (hard to reach threshold0
  • tech issues

Final Thoughts

0/10In the end, this is a hard pass.  You’re going to have to play a ton of levels to earn $7, which means you’re going to play for hours.

Worth it?

No!

While the game in itself can be fun, it won’t be worth the spammy-like advertisements.  You will drive yourself bonkers, trust me.

If you want to earn money playing games, you will never get rich, this app included.

That’s going to do it for now.
