Mobrog Review: Should I Trust It?

Mobrog is a very simple to use survey site that’s available in so many countries, such as Morocco, UAE, and Ireland, to name a few.  I have mentioned it many times, but I haven’t written a review in detail.

If you’re looking for another survey panel, especially if you live outside of the United States, this could be a good choice to consider.  The payout threshold is low and the surveys seem to be aplenty.

As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

What is Mobrog?

Mobrog is a panel operated by the company, Splendid Research, which was founded in 2008.  This research company helps companies of all sizes with their market research, helping them learn what their customers want.

Indeed, it’s a 100% legitimate company that is 100% safe to use. After all, they have more than 3 million members.  As long as you use the website ethically, you will get paid.  However, just because it’s legit, it doesn’t always mean it’s worth your time.

Mobrog focuses solely on surveys and it’s a very simple dashboard as I’m about to get into.

Earning With Surveys

Once you sign up, you can immediately start taking surveys, however, the company, like most, will ask you to fill out a simple profile survey so that they can get to know more about you.

While completing this survey is 100% optional, you will want to fill it out so that they can send you more targeted surveys.  Once you do, you should see more survey invites pop up on your dashboard.

These profile questions are straightforward, such as your gender, what you drive, where you work, etc.  The entire thing takes five minutes at most.  They do not pay for your information here, which is a bummer, seeing so many survey companies do so now.

Whether you complete the profile survey or you just want to start taking surveys, you will see them on your dashboard, which you can see above.

Here, you can see your current balance, the surveys available as well as a “search for a new survey” button.  IF you don’t see any surveys beneath the survey tab, then you can click that yellow button to find other surveys.  It doesn’t always work, however.  Generally, if you don’t see surveys on your list, I would just wait until some show up.

How many surveys you see on that dashboard will depend on your demographic, mainly where you live.  Even though you can sign up in other countries, don’t expect to see an endless list of surveys.

How many surveys will I get?

You will get an email whenever a survey is available.  As an option, you can turn on web notifications as well.  Keep in mind that if you get an invite, it doesn’t mean you will qualify.  Like most surveys sites, you will only qualify for about 20% of the surveys you click on.

Depending on your demographic, you should expect a handful of surveys a day, and you will probably qualify for only a few surveys per week. Like most surveys, you shouldn’t expect much in terms of making money.

How much can I make?

This is going to depend on which surveys you take as well as how often you log in.

Like most survey sites, most surveys pay out about $0.25 to $2, on average.  You won’t qualify for all of these, but even if you do, you won’t make much.

Plan on averaging about $1 to $2 a day, maybe a pinch more if you’re a casual user.  This means I can assume you can make about $25~ per month if you live in a top-tier country.  In some countries, you may find you will make much less.  Just keep that in mind.

Playing the Lottery

Aside from surveys, you can also test your luck with the lottery.

For every survey you take, you can earn tickets, in which you can then enter the lottery to win.  Most prizes are about €100, but this can change.

Just follow the prompts on the lottery/contests page to enter the contest to win.

Getting Paid with Mobrog

As mentioned, you only need $6.25 to cash out, which is fairly low for the survey industry.

Whenever you complete a survey, you will get rewarded in cash and it will be added to your account once Mobrog approves your submission.

Once you hit your threshold, you can then cash out via PayPal or Skrill, whichever option you choose.  You can also donate to charity, depending on which country you live in.

When you sign up, keep in mind that your account email must match your PayPal address, as this is where they will send the money once you cash out.

Joining and Creating an Account

If you’re interested in joining, it’s very simple to do.  Just fill out the registration page on the official page and you can access your dashboard immediately.  Make sure you’re honest about the country you’re joining from as they will ban you if you lie.

While I’m writing this, Mobrog works with more than 70+ countries and is 100% free to join.  No matter where you live, your panel will be in your local language.

You have to be 18+ years old and have a PayPal/Skrill account to join.

The Pros:

  • very easy surveys
  • only need $6.25 to cash out
  • helpful customer service

The Cons:

  • no surveys for some demographics
  • many reports of account deactivations
  • survey invites can fill fast

Final Thoughts

Mobrog doesn’t seem all that bad, but I wouldn’t rank it near the top.  I would say it’s in the middle if that.

5/10What I do like is that most countries can join and the dashboard is very simple to use.  I just didn’t like that I didn’t see a lot of survey invites.  Plus, I had some issues in the beginning when I signed up because they deactivated my account for some reason.

In the end, don’t expect to make all that much, maybe $10 to $20 per month.  It’s not much, but this can be said about any survey site.

That’s going to do it for now.
