Smack dab on the front page, Panel Bucks states that you get new online paid surveys daily. And, for a limited time, you can get a free membership.
As a member, you can receive free online discount coupons, exclusive offers and work from home opportunities. What’s not to love?
Now, I have been in this industry for quite some time, so I can often spot a sleazy opportunity right off the bat. At first glance, Panel Bucks seems to be one of those sites that gathers your email, sells it off, and then spams you with mediocre paid opportunities. In short, it’s not worth your time.
And, while you can make money completing surveys, some sites won’t do it for you.
Is Panel Bucks one of them?
I’m not sure, but we’re about to find out.
What is Panel Bucks?
According to the website, you can complete a short sign up form and you will be on your way to learning about the many ways to make money online. From testing new products to answering survey questions, you can make anywhere from $2 to more than $100. Heck, they even say you can make $150 per hour. What a claim? I have been doing this for years, and I have yet to find an online job that pays $150 per hour. Sure, some may exist, but I can tell you that it’s not for the average Joe.
While the claims seem to be average, at best, I hate the websites that make you sign up to figure out what you can make. This isn’t how I work, and I will never work that way. I try to limit my ads, and I always push honest programs. I stand by this.
As for who’s behind the scenes running the website, I couldn’t find much. I can usually find a business name in the terms and conditions, but there wasn’t much. All I could find was a BBB listing noting that they were based in Orange, CA.
Usually, when you don’t hear much about a company, they don’t want to put a face to the name, and who can blame them when they make the claims like they do.
What Happens if I Sign Up for Panel Bucks?
So, what happens if you do decide to sign up? What happens?
Well, first of all, they ask for an email and a name. Simple enough, right?
Not quite.
After you fill out these two simple fields, the company will then bombard you with multiple offers, which look something like this…
I mean, it doesn’t take a doctor to figure out that a “$750 to your Venmo account” is too good to be true. If that’s the first offer I see, I don’t want anything to do with it.
As I clicked no on many offers, I was presented with some that said I could make $1,200 a week working from home as well as being approved for a house! I can’t believe a company has the morals to do something like this.
Eventually, if you were to get to the end of the line, it just pushes you to a survey and that’s it!
After all is said and done, you can now wait for multiple spam messages to arrive in your email box weekly. And, who knows who they sell your information to, either.
Is Panel Bucks Legit?
As you can see from my frustration, Panel Bucks is not legit. I stand by this, and I hope you do too. And, I’m not the only one saying this as there are a lot of Panel Bucks complaints online.
They just push unethical offers and your email so that they can push you with even more offers in the future. When I say this, I mean it — they DON’T care about you and your finances. They are just one of the many sleazy website owners that only care about their pocketbooks.
Final Thoughts
Ah, I hate websites like this. They just want your email information and then hope you sign up for one of their sleazy affiliate links. You’re only giving them money and the offers they present you don’t benefit you in any way.
If you want to make money online, it can be done, I promise, but this site isn’t one of them. If you want to make money taking surveys, check out my honest list of companies that will pay you. In the end, this site is garbage. Don’t even bother visiting them as doing that is a waste of time.
