The PlayWell app has more than 1,000,000+ downloads and pays you to play games.  Yes, it’s one of the many apps that pay you to play games, but is this one that’s worth your time?  We’re about to find out.

Whether you’re looking for ways to make money playing games or maybe you heard about the PlayWell app, let’s take a gander at it and see what it’s all about.

As in all of my reviews, I’m always 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Getting Started

At the moment, the app is only available on the Google Play Store, so if you don’t have an Android device, you won’t be able to use it, unfortunately.

The minute you download the app, you can start earning, however, when you want to cash out eventually, you will need to create an account.

Making Money

To make money, the premise is simple.

You will browse your dashboard and select a game that looks of interest to you.

For example, if you wanted to play that “Lucky Money” game, you would click on the coins and you would see something like this:

As you can see, you would have to simply play the game for 15 minutes to earn 24,900 points.

If you were to click on that “more” tab, you would see even more options for you to earn more.  Basically, with this app, you can earn a certain number of coins for every 15 minutes you play.

Keep in mind that every app you download will have a set of rules you need to follow in order to earn, however, the nice thing about this app is that most just require you to play, mainly 15 minutes to start earning your rewards.  This is a nice breath of fresh air as most apps require you to reach certain levels or complete certain tasks to start earning.

How Much Are the Points Worth?

Now, you’re probably wondering what the points are worth.  And, sadly, these points are not worth as much as you think.

For every 1,000 points you earn, you can get $0.01 in rewards.  Yes, that’s it.

Apps will often do this because they want it to appear as if you’re earning much more than you really are.  If you see 10,000 points, that seems like a lot more than just $0.10, right?  This is all a brain game, and it’s important that you know about the value before you start playing.

The Rewards

Once you earn at least 200,000 points, which is $2 in value, you can being the cash out process.

At the moment, they only have two reward options, but thankfully it’s one you probably want: either PayPal or Amazon.

Once you cash out, it can take up to 48 hours to receive your payout.

How Much Can You Make?

If every 1,000 points are worth about $0.01 and most of the games pay you about 40,000~ per 15 minutes, that’s only 200,000 per hour, which means you can earn about $2 per hour.

It’s not going to be much, but for some people, you may want to get rewarded because you want to try a new game.  That’s the only way I can see this app as something ideal is if you wanted to play the game anyways.  Other than that, it’s not really worth $2 per hour.

The Pros:

• it is a legitimate app
• low payout threshold at $2
• you only need to play mostly (no reaching levels, etc)
• variety of games it seems

The Cons:

• intrusive ads
• glitches/tech problems
• slow earning potential
• limited payouts
• customer service seems to be lacking

Final Thoughts

If you’re saying yes, then sure, go for it, but if you’re laughing, that’s about all you’re going to make.

As I mentioned, the only way it will work is if you wanted to try a game on the list.  If you were planning on playing it, you might as well earn a dollar or two, right?  That’s the only option that makes sense to me.

Mostly, these get paid to play game-like apps will never be worth your time, so if you’re looking for a way to supplement your income, this definitely isn’t it.

PlayWell is 100% legit, but I just don’t think it’s worth your time.
