PointClub is said to be the best place to earn cash by taking online surveys and more. It’s another one of the many survey sites out there, but PointClub is a pinch different than most as that offer “missions,” giving you an opportunity to earn even more.
Whether you have heard of PointClub and you’re looking for more information or maybe you’re looking for other ways to make money taking surveys, let’s take a gander at PointClub to see if they are worth your time.
As always, I’m 100% honest and would never recommend something I wouldn’t use.
What is PointClub?
The PointClub website will earn you rewards whenever you complete a survey. Just like the many survey sites I have mentioned in this busy space, PointClub tries to set itself above the rest, offering bonus missions and bonuses. The premise is simple, however. Answer survey questions and earn points for your time, in which you can eventually cash out for rewards.
PointClub was launched in 2012 and is operated by the company, Innovate MR, which is a market firm with more than three million+ members. To date, they have completed more than 10 million surveys. There’s no doubt that the company operating the panel is 100% legitimate, but the true questions if it’s worth your time.
Signing up for PointClub
To sign up for PointClub, the company makes it easy. You can sign up in one of three ways: either by connecting your Facebook or Google account or signing up for a unique PointClub account using your e-mail address.
Whichever way you sign up, it all leads to the same dashboard, and it only takes a minute to do so.
To qualify for PointClub, you must be at least 13 years old and reside in one of the following countries: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Netherlands Germany or the United Kingdom.
Signing up is 100% free.
Your PointClub Dashboard
After you sign up, you can immediately access your dashboard, which will look something like this…
At first glance, it looks very cartoony with a bunch of random numbers and bonus points. It can look confusing at first, but let me explain how each category works.
Your Mission Launcher
Your mission launcher is what will launch immediately after logging in. This is where you will make the most money, so I recommend you hang around here and see which “missions” work best for you.
Here, you can find all of the “missions” that match your superhero profile. In simpler terms, your missions are the surveys you take and the superhero profile is your profile in a sense. When you sign up, you’re going to want to let the company know more about yourself so that they can send targeted surveys your way. In doing so, you will not only get a $5 bonus but you will get surveys that you actually qualify for. If you fail to fill out this profile survey, you will still get surveys, but you may find that you will disqualify for a lot of them. You can start filling out your profiler by completing the five steps of the “earn your 5,000 point sign-up bonus.” You will see this in the upper-right portion of your screen.
Again, the mission launcher tab is where you will make almost all of your money. With each point worth $0.001, it’s somewhat easy to understand what each survey is worth. So, for example, this survey noted below is worth 636 points, about $0.63 in rewards.
If you highlight over these surveys, it will show you how long the survey is expected to take. I suggest you highlight the survey to see if it’s worth your time. In that case, 20 minutes to earn $0.63 isn’t the greatest, so I would more than likely pass on it. Remember, you won’t qualify for them all, so keep that in mind.
PointClub Streak Bonus
So, you may be wondering what the “streak bonus” is, which you will see beneath the offers. For example, in that screenshot above, I could earn a +6 streak bonus.
According to the FAQ, the streak bonus is offered to you for every consecutive day you log in. The more days you log in, the greater your streak bonus can be. You can also earn badges, which can later earn you more rewards as you level in. However, to keep this level, you must continue to log in.
You can earn up to 10% in a streak bonus, so if you’re serious about earning, I would recommend logging in every 24 hours, even if it’s done for a quick second.
How Much Money Can I Make With PointClub?
This question is asked all of the time whenever I create a review. How much money can I make?
And, the answer…
How much you make will greatly depend on how often you log in, your demographics and how many surveys you complete. Personally, I always see surveys on my dashboard and I complete about 20%~ of those I click on. Most surveys pay anywhere from 20 to more than 2,500 points+.
Since PointClub seems to pay more than the average survey site I have reviewed, I would say it’s safe to say you could earn $1 to $5 a day or about $150 a month, maybe even more. This is a very achievable goal. Just remember you won’t get rich! That’s a given in the survey world.
The Offer Board Tab
Aside from the missions, another way you can earn is via the offer board, which is located right next to the missions tab in your menu bar.
Here, all you’re going to find are connections to multiple third-party offer walls, such as PeanutLabs, AdGem, OfferToro, AdWall, etc.
If you’re not familiar with these offer walls, they are fairly common among survey sites such as these. Acting as a middleman, a company, such as PointClub, will connect to these offer walls and then reward you whenever you complete a task on these boards. Basically, these boards find the surveys/offers and they pass them onto anyone who wants to connect to them. They set a rate and the company you’re working with will keep a percentage, all of which varies from provider to provider.
The offer board may show some offers worth doing, but most of the time, much of your money, as mentioned, will be in that missions tab.
Rewards via the PointBank
As mentioned, every point is worth $0.001 each, and you will need at least 25,000 points to cash out. While you don’t have to cash out at $25, you can choose between three increments, either 25,000 points ($25), 50,000 points ($50) or 100,000 points ($100).
In your PointBank, which can also be found in your menu, you can set a goal as well as choose your goal as to what you want to be rewarded once you hit the minimum point requirement.
At this moment, PointClub offers the some of the following reward options…
- Apple iTunes
- Burger King
- Google Play
- Home Depot
They had more than 60+ gift card options, so I went ahead and listed some of the more popular options. Honestly, most people will choose the PayPal option, the reason I didn’t bother listing every single gift card option. Nonetheless, they had a great selection, so I’m sure there’s something that’s of interest to you.
As a note, if you do choose the PayPal method, they do charge an additional 2% fee.
Once you redeem your reward, it can take up to 72 hours to receive.
Refer a Friend
And, lastly, I wanted to mention the referral zone as this is another way to earn even more points. It’s probably one of the best refer-a-friend systems I have reviewed.
Anytime you refer a friend using your special link, you can earn 10% of what your friend earns. Once you refer more than 20 people, that can increase to 20%!
If you’re able to refer a few friends a month, it can add up. Just make sure you share your link responsibly as spamming your link can lead to a ban.
The Pros and Cons
To sum things up, let’s take a glance at what I feel are the pros and cons if you were to use this site. Remember, all sites, no matter how great they are, will always have some cons associated with it.
- great survey payouts
- nice bonuses added
- fun interface
- easy to use
- PayPal + 60 gift card options
- good refer a friend program
- free to join
- responsive customer service
- high $25 minimum threshold
- 2% fee if you use the PayPal option
With a ton of reward options and a ton of surveys you can complete, I don’t see why you can’t earn $25 in the next five to seven days. Again, I can’t stress it enough. You’re not going to get rich, but you can earn enough to order a few pizzas. I always stress this in all of my survey reviews. As long as you have this mindset, they can be a lot of fun.
If you want to sign up, follow this link to see if you can take advantage of the free $5 sign-up bonus! It’s usually available and makes it that much quicker to your payout.
Now, I leave it up to you.
