Pureprofile Surveys Review: How Much Can I Earn?

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

Pureprofile allows you to take surveys and be rewarded for “being who you are.”  It’s one of the older survey panels out there, more than two decades old.  It was founded in 2000 and provides marketing solutions to hundreds of brands worldwide, many of which you have heard of.

According to the company, they have more than 1.1 million registrations with more than $1.5 million in rewards distributed, and this number continues to grow to this day.

If you like the idea of answering questions and getting rewarded for your time, then it may be one to consider.  Keep in mind that most surveys sites don’t pay a ton, and this isn’t an exception.  As long as you have that mindset, it can be that much more enjoyable.

In today’s review, I check out Pureprofile, letting you know what you can make, how the surveys work as well as if it’s worth it.  As always, I’m 100% honest in my reviews, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Let’s begin!

Signing Up

To sign up, all you have to do is create an account, providing your country, email as well as a password.

Once you’re registered, you will need to verify your link to gain access to the dashboard.  Before you can access your dashboard, however, the company will ask for a few personal details, such as your name, gender, etc.  This is a fairly standard practice among the many survey companies I have reviewed in the past.  They need to know these demographics so that they can provide you with targeted survey opportunities.

In filling out that first profiler, which takes about two minutes, the company will immediately give you $1.

It’s 100% free to join, however, you must be at least 16+ years old to join.  It appears to be open to everyone worldwide, but some countries may experience few survey invites.  This is often the case with almost all survey sites.  Usually, if you live in the United States, Canada, Australia or the United Kingdom, you shouldn’t have a hard time finding options.

Your Feed

After you sign up and fill out your screener profile, you can then access your dashboard, which will look something like this…

This survey site works much differently than most as it acts more like a social media platform than just listing surveys.  As you can see in the screenshot, your surveys/activities are directly in the middle, and as you scroll, you can complete any of interest.

When you first join, however, you will see a ton of screener surveys, most of which deal with your personal traits/preferences.  Think religion, family, etc.  It’s imperative that you fill these out as it will help you receive more targeted surveys in the future.  You won’t get paid for these profile updates, but they will add value in the future.

If you want to strictly see surveys, then take advantage of the feed and filter out “surveys” only.  Anything survey related will pay you the reward mentioned.

How Many Surveys Will I Get?

There’s no guarantee as to how many surveys you can get, according to the company.  The number depends on so many variables, dependent upon your demographics, how many responders are needed as well as how fast surveys go when they hit the dashboard.

The company doesn’t strictly specific, but from what I read, you should expect a couple of survey opportunities each day.

I can’t stress it enough in that you fully complete your profile, as the more profile surveys you answer, the more you can earn.  Even when you finish these profile surveys, they will continue to send you more profile surveys in the future, so it’s best to keep them updated.

How Much Do the Surveys Pay?

Most surveys you see will range anywhere from $0.50 to $4+, with surveys lasting up to 30-60 minutes tops.  There will be some surveys that pay much more than this, but this seems to be the average.

If you were to log in daily, I would assume you can earn about $2 a day, maybe $3, meaning you can earn about $50 a month, on average.  Again, your results will vary, but this is the estimate I have accessed from the reviews I read online.

Rewards

When it comes time for redemption, you will need at least $10 in your balance to cash out.

At the moment, the company offers a PayPal option as well as rewards cards, which vary in retailers.

One note is that you can only redeem up to $35 in rewards per month, which is a big bummer, seeing it’s one of the only survey companies that does this.  This is a huge downfall if you plan on using the site a lot.

Once you redeem, it can take up to 30 business days if you were to choose the PayPal option, however, gift cards are immediate, simply meaning you don’t have to wait.

What the Internet Is Saying

As in all of my reviews, I like to see what the internet is saying.  No matter which company I review, there are always people saying both good and bad.  It’s a reason I want to include both sides of the story to give you an idea as to what to expect.

In my research, here’s what I found:

  • used to be great but it has slowly dwindled over the years
  • many people complained of the $35 per month restriction (this was biggest complaint)
  • consistent surveys
  • seems to be very popular in Australia
  • some surveys are long, only to screen you out at the end

Final Thoughts

9/10I like Pureprofile a lot, and I can assure you it’s not a scam.  It’s a reputable company that has a very easy-to-use interface.  With a history like Pureprofile, they have a lot of connections with businesses, which means more survey opportunities for you.

You won’t make much, but this can be said with any survey site.  I think you can make $2 a day or about $35~ a month, which is the cap.  Even if you make more, you will just have to wait to cash out.  If you’re happy with those results, then sign up and start answering survey questions whenever you can.  Just remember to fill out that profile page.

That’s going to do it for now.

As always, if you want to comment on your experience with Pureprofile or maybe you have a question, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.
