The Survey Pop survey app is one of the many survey apps available on the Google Play Store.  It has more than 50,000 downloads with a solid 4.5/5 rating.  That’s not bad at all.  However, just because it has wonderful reviews, it doesn’t mean it’s worth your time.  Let me explain in a minute.

Whether you have heard of this app and want to learn more about it or maybe you’re looking for another way to make money with your phone, this could be a consideration.

Remember, with all of your survey apps, no matter who operates it, you will never get rich.  You can make $1 to $10 a day, sure, but don’t count on quitting your full-time job, no matter what anyone says.  The same can be said about this app.

As long as you have that in mind, these apps can be a nice way to buy a dinner or two here or there.

With that out of the way, let’s explore the app and if it’s worth your time.

What is Survey Pop?

Survey Pop is a simple survey app that’s said to be the quickest way to earn $5.  And, what makes them unique is that they pay you $1 for your first survey, guaranteed.  You can only download it on your phone and it’s not available on your desktop at the moment.

It’s operated by a company called SocialLoop, LLC, which is the same company that runs the very popular Eureka survey, Survey Spin app as well as others.  This is a smaller social media advertising boutique based in Cary, North Carolina.

Yes, this is a 100% legitimate company and you will get paid if you download it.  It doesn’t mean it’s worth using, however.

The app seems to be open to most worldwide, as long as you can download it in your country.  If you don’t see it, then you won’t qualify.

Earning Money with Survey Pop

The only way you can earn money through the app, as the name proclaims, is through surveys.

When you first log in, the company will ask you to answer some simple demographic questions in the form of a survey.  This is standard among most of the survey apps, however, the nice thing, at least with Survey Pop, is that you will get paid $1 for your time.

You will have to complete these surveys if you want to continue using the site.  This is done so that the researchers providing the surveys can send targeted surveys to you.  After all, why would you take a diaper survey if you don’t have a baby?

Once you complete these profile surveys, you can then start taking surveys via the company’s partners, most of which are third-party offer walls that you can find almost on any survey-like site.

The main surveys you see will ask you a few qualifying questions before they accept you for the actual survey.  They do this so that they have the right demographics for the survey.  You won’t always qualify, and this can be said about any survey, so don’t be discouraged if you see a lot of qualifications.  Survey Pop will pay you a small fee sometimes if you don’t qualify sometimes, usually about a penny or two, but this is rare.  If you do qualify, then you can take the survey and earn your reward.

How much do the surveys pay?

If you do qualify, most of these surveys don’t pay much.  I’m taking $0.30 to $1, sometimes, while rare, a pinch more.  The sweet spot seems to be about $0.50.

The payouts were very low in comparison to some of my favorites such as Superpay.me and Swagbucks, so do keep this in mind if you use this app.  Seeing they use partners so many other sites use, you always want to make sure you’re getting the most money for your time.

Rewards

Whenever you complete a survey, you will have cash added to your balance.  There’s no point balance.  Just simple cash, which is nice.

To cash out, you will need at least $5 and you can choose from more than 70+ payout options, which include the more popular types such as Amazon, PayPal and even Visa.  The screenshot only show a few options, but I promise you that they have an option you will like.

When you cash out, payouts are sent instantly.

The Pros:

• easy to use
• tons of rewards
• low $5 minimum threshold
• instant payout
• great reviews

The Cons:

• not as many survey invites as most
• underpaying in my opinion

Final Thoughts

5/10Survey Pop is a good concept in general.  They have a low threshold, they pay you for your profile survey and they pay out instantly with more than 70+ gift cards.

However, I’m not going to put it at the top of my list, mainly because they don’t pay much in comparison to competitors and the selection is quite low.  You’re going to find that it will take some time to reach that $5 minimum threshold.  Trust me on this one.

If you do download it, however, you will get paid, as they are a legitimate company, but again, don’t expect to get rich.
