Timebucks Review: Read the Many Ways to Earn

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

TimeBucks offers a ton of ways to earn, from answering surveys to completing micro tasks.  And, unlike a lot of GPT sites I have reviewed, it seems as if TimeBucks offers a lot more money-making opportunities than most.  For example, you can post on Facebook and even view slideshows to earn cash.  Simply put, there’s a lot to do.

Granted, you’re not going to make a lot with these types of sites, but you can earn $1 to $10~ a day with minimal effort.  If you’re okay with that, then you may be okay with using TimeBucks.

Off the bat, let it be known that Timebucks is 100% legit, but just because it is, it doesn’t always mean it’s worth your time.

In today’s review, I will show you how it works, what you can make as well as how you can maximize your time.  As in all of my reviews, I’m always honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

What is TimeBucks?

TimeBucks, as mentioned, is a GPT-like website that offers so many ways to earn cash on the side.  It’s 100% free to join and is one of the many types of these sites on the internet.  While many of the offers you will find here can be found elsewhere, I did find opportunities that I couldn’t find anywhere else, such as watching slideshows and posting on Facebook.  I think that’s why I enjoyed this site much more than I thought I would.  They continue to add different ways to earn money, which makes it different than the many I have played with.

TimeBucks is owned by Australian Clearing Pty Ltd, which is an organization based in Western Australia.  Researching this company, I couldn’t find much, such as an official website, but this isn’t always a red flag because I have researched companies in the past that didn’t have a separate company website.  All I know is that the company is legally registered and its ABN was register in April of 2018.

The company has a variety of ways to earn, and like the many reviews on this site, I will talk about every way you can earn cash when you sign up.

#1 Surveys

Like most GPT sites, TimeBucks has a surveys section, which primarily works with a lot of third-party offer walls, such as Theorem Reach, BitLabs, etc.

And, if you’re unfamiliar with these offer walls, they work with a website such as TimeBucks, using them as a middleman.  They provide TimeBucks with the surveys, which TimeBucks then passes on to you.  The offer wall company pays TimeBucks and they then share a portion with you.  Each site shares a different amount, so you will find that some sites will pay more than others.  This is why it’s important to do your research.

This section is very easy to understand.  Just browse the list, as you can see in the screenshot above, and click on a survey of interest.  Most surveys should show you how long it will take as well as what you should get paid.

When you do take the surveys, make sure you fill out your profile so that you can maximize your survey invites.

#2 Content

In the content section, you can perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • clicks
  • slideshows
  • nightly fall news
  • engage
  • push clicks
  • search
  • 55 word tasks

No matter which task you click on, you will simply be asked to view a slideshow of sorts.

For example, you can see that TimeBucks would pay you $0.01 for viewing 25 slideshows.

Typically, the content section won’t pay much.  I’m talking a penny or so for viewing more than 20+ slideshows.  Personally, I don’t feel these options are worth your time, but as in all of my reviews, I want to include everything you can do on the site.

#3 Tasks

In the “Tasks” section, this works a lot like Amazon Mechanical Turk.  You will be asked to complete a task and then you will be rewarded once you complete it.  All of these tasks will often come from an advertiser on the site, so it’s not necessarily from TimeBucks.

Like MTurk, you or I could create a task and then benefit from it if that makes sense.

As you can see in the screenshot there, you can earn anywhere from $0.30 to more than $1+ for completing a simple task.  For example, if you created an account, you could earn $0.30.  If you installed the HoneyGain app, you would get paid $0.30 as well.

When I was writing this review, they had more than 409 tasks to complete, which seems to be a lot.  These tasks are always changing, so be sure to log in daily to see if there are any worth doing.

To complete these tasks, just click on the “view” button and then follow the instructions to get paid.

#4 Push Links

For this task, you will send links to your friends, and the goal here is to get them to “allow” notifications on their browser.  These are the notifications you often see whenever you’re using a browser.

Whenever your friend clicks on the “allow” button, you get paid every time they click on a notification.

This section is definitely a hustle and it’s one I don’t recommend, either, mainly due to the money made.  For example, one user had more than 10,000 clicks and only earned $13.

#5 Games

In the games section, you will need to reach a target score for every game you play.  Once you hit that target score, you are credited instantly and the game ends.  After you’re credited, you will have to wait 24 hours before you can play that same game again.

When I was writing this, there were 10 games, but these do change on occasions, however, like the “push links” section, you won’t earn much.  As you can see, you can earn about $0.02 to reach the target score, which can take you a long time depending on your speed.

#6 Offerwalls

The offer walls, much like the surveys, work in the same way.  You can work with a variety of third-party companies that provide you with “offers” to complete.  This can include signing up for an e-mail newsletter or downloading a piece of software.

Some of these offers will cost you money, such as signing up for a trial, whereas some offers are 100% free.  All you need to do is read the instructions and follow those prompts in order to get rewarded.  The dashboard is easy to follow and you should be able to find some offers that are worth your time.

And, again, I can’t stress it enough that you should compare rates on other sites because they will vary.

#7 Ali Express

The Ali Express section is very simple to understand.

If you shop at Ali Express, you can simply shop via a special link or even share yours to earn up to 5% cash back on your purchase.

I don’t shop on Ali Express, but if you do or know of someone who does, it’s something to consider, I suppose.

#8 Sweepstakes

And, lastly, TimeBucks does offer a sweepstakes opportunity, where you can win up to $250, every week.  30 winners are chosen every Friday at 12 a.m.

To earn an “entry,” you will have to perform various tasks on the site, such as logging in daily or even completing a task.  The more entries you earn, the better your odds are.

Rewards and Payments

When it comes time to cashing out, you will need at least $10 to do so, which is about the industry average, maybe a pinch higher.  Payouts are made weekly and you can see a timer on your rewards screen to see when the next payout is going out.

TimeBucks offers a variety of reward options, including:

  • PayPal
  • Payeer
  • Bank Transfer
  • Airtm
  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Bitcoin
  • Litecoin

TimeBucks does add reward options, too, so be sure to check this out here and there to see what’s new.

Signing Up

The nice thing about TimeBucks is that anyone in the world can sign up as long as you’re 16+.  However, like the many GPT sites that allow anyone, it doesn’t mean you’re going to make a lot since some countries will see more than others.  What I found out, however, is that they have a lot more opportunities than most competitors.

To sign up, it’s as easy as adding your email and creating a password.  You can also connect your Facebook account if you choose to do so.

The Pros:

  • lots of earning opportunities
  • open worldwide
  • earning opportunities you can’t find elsewhere
  • easy to use

The Cons:

  • some options won’t pay as much (games, etc)

Final Thoughts

7/10In the end, TimeBucks is a decent GPT website.  Yes, it’s 100% real and I can promise you that it isn’t fake.  They are legit, they have a lot of earning potential, and best of all, if you live in a country that doesn’t have a lot of opportunities, you should be able to find something here.

Again, you will never earn a lot from these sites, but if you’re happy with $1 to $10 a day, then it is possible.  Just make sure you’re doing the right tasks, such as surveys and offer walls.  Other than that, the other ways to earn usually aren’t worth your time.

That’s going to do it for now.
