Viewfruit Review: Should You Join?

ViewFruit is much different than the survey companies I write about as most have a U.S. and Canada focus.  Well, this is going to change in today’s guide, as ViewFruit is focused more so on members who reside in Asia.  As I write this, the company is open to more than 32+ countries, again, with most focusing outside the United States.  This could change, however, in the near future.

If you’re looking for a variety of ways to earn money online and you’re frustrated with the many survey sites that don’t accept your country, then this could change with ViewFruit.

In today’s review, I explore ViewFruit in depth.  I talk about how much you can make, if it’s worth your time as well as how much you can make.  As in all of my reviews, I’m always non-biased, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Let’s begin!

What is ViewFruit?

ViewFruit is a 100% legitimate company that’s part of the Marketing Research Association, which is a 501(c)(6) non-profit, membership trade association, incorporated in New York state.

The company, like the many I have written about, will reward you to complete surveys and offers, to name a few.  You won’t get rich using the website, but I can promise you 100% that you will get paid if you reach the minimum threshold.

Signing Up for an Account

To start making money on ViewFruit, you will first need to create an account in your home country.  And, as stated, the company works in 32 countries, mainly Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and even the United States.  As long as you’re part of one, you can join.

To know if you’re eligible, I would search “ViewFruit,” followed by your country.  If a panel does pop up, then you will be able to sign up, as long as you’re older than 18+.  For example, in the Philippines, the URL shows as ph.viewfruit.com, etc.

The sign-up process is quite simple.

You just need to provide some basic demographic information as well as register your email.  Once you confirm your email, you can start using the website.

As a last note, the company does offer a bonus, of up to 100 points, if you download the official app.  If you don’t want to use the app, that’s okay, too, as the desktop version is available as well.

Making Money with ViewFruit

Almost all of your money will be made with the survey section.  As I am writing this, I had two options to choose from, either the “V-survey” or “Lucky survey.”  Let me explain how each of these work.

The V-survey section is where you would spend most of your time if you were to sign up.  Here, you can find most of the surveys available to you at the moment.

As you can see in the screenshot, you can see a variety of surveys in all sorts of genres, paying anywhere from 180 to 400+ points.   Every 500 points is worth $1 and you need at least 2,500 points ($5 value) to cash out.

Just remember that you won’t qualify for all of these surveys.  In fact, based on my experience, you can expect to qualify for maybe 20% of the surveys you click on.

When you do sign up, make sure you fill out your demographic profile in its entirety so that you can get as many survey invites as possible.

Aside from the V-survey section, they also offer the lucky survey, which as the name sounds, is pure luck.  ViewFruit will ask you to fill out a basic profiler and then, they will take you to a random survey.  Just picture it more like a randomizer.  I don’t recommend this option as I would rather choose the survey since I will know how much I can make taking it.

How many surveys will I get?

The nice thing about ViewFruit is that you can log into your dashboard as well as check your email inbox to see which survey options are available.  I highly recommend you check your email inbox as surveys often go here first and they can go fast.  The surveys will eventually make it to the dashboard, but if it was a popular survey, you may never even see it show up.  Just make sure you check your junk folder as this is where your invites are often found.

As for how many surveys you can get, I would expect a handful a day.  Like most survey websites, it will greatly depend on your demographics.

How much do surveys pay?

Most surveys pay about 100 to 400 points, but you may find a survey that pays much more.  However, expect this to be the average.  When broken down, this is about $0.20 to almost $1 in value per survey, which is about the industry average.

Social Aspect

Aside from making money with surveys, the company also offers a slight social media/social aspect, where you can chat with other members as well as vote in polls, known as V-Polls.  You won’t make any money in the social aspect, but I just wanted to mention this as it’s something different from other survey-like sites.

You can also create a personalized profile, where you can add a profile photo, add a slight description as well as add friends on the site.

Overall, the social aspect doesn’t look to be all that important, seeing most people don’t use it, but I wanted to mention it here because it’s part of the website and I try to include as much as possible when writing my reviews.

Redeeming Points

To cash out, you need at least 2,500 points, which is equal to $5 in rewards.  You can, however, save up your points, up to $100 (50,000 points), if you choose to do so.

The only payout method is to a valid PayPal account and all currency is in USD, no matter which country you reside in.

Whenever you start the cash out process, the company will audit your points on Monday and then send out the payment about one to five days later.

The Pros:

  • available in more than 32+ countries
  • $5 minimum threshold
  • PayPal
  • decent payout for some surveys
  • easy to use mobile app

The Cons:

  • won’t get rich
  • some report limited survey invites (results vary)

Final Thoughts

6/10If you live outside the United States, then this could be a great option to consider.  Like most survey sites, you won’t get rich, but I feel you can earn a few dollars a day, maybe more, depending on which country you live in  The more effort you put into it, the more you can make.  ViewFruit has been around for some time, so you can be assured they will pay out if you meet the low $5 minimum threshold.

That’s going to do it for now.

As always, if you want to comment on your experience, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments section below.
