WeAre8 Pays You to View Ads (review)

WeAre8 is an app designed to “bring good back to social media.”  The company has zero tolerance for hate and wants to unite people in support of a better world.  The premise in itself sounds interesting and it’s very similar to an app like TikTok.

So, you may be wondering, “What the heck does this have to do with making money?”

Well, the app claims you can earn rewards when you use the platform unlike other social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, to name a few.

While the company is 100% legitimate, it doesn’t have the best app store reviews.  If you’re looking to research WeAre8 more in depth or maybe you want to learn about another income opportunity, let’s see what this app is all about.

Earning Money with WeAre8

To earn money with WeAre8, the concept is simple.

Once you download the app, it will alert you whenever an ad is ready to be viewed.  If you open the app and watch the ad, then you will be compensated about $0.20 in value.  This is quite high.

I have reviewed a few companies that pay you to watch ads, and trust me when I say this, most pay you pennies for watching 100s of ads at once.

Even though the company pays handsomely for ad viewing, don’t plan on making much because they usually don’t have a huge inventory.

Getting Paid

At the time of this review, WeAre8 only pays out via PayPal so you need a PayPal account to get paid.  And, you will need at least $1 to make a payout claim.  Once you do so, you will receive your payment within 48 hours.

Keep in mind, however, that it can take quite some time to see a credit hit your account.  For example, if you watch an ad right now, it could take up to a few weeks before you see that credit hit.  Unlike most websites that are almost instantly, this isn’t the case here, unfortunately.

How Much Can I Make?

This will greatly depend on the current ad inventory, but seeing they do pay the most per view out of the companies I researched, I think you can earn about $1 to $3 a month at most.  I know, it’s not much, but if you’re a fan of these websites/apps that pay you to view ads, it could be something to download and just watch the ads whenever you get a notification.  Of course, you definitely won’t find yourself making much with this app.

The Pros:

  • one of the highest paying “ad viewing” apps at $0.20~ per view
  • very easy to use

The Cons:

  • not many ads
  • won’t get rich
  • takes about 30~ days for ads to credit
  • some app tech issues

Signing Up

If you like what you read above and want to download the app, you can do so via the Google Play or iTunes store.  It’s only available as a mobile app and isn’t available on your desktop at the moment.

Once you install the app, you will have to sign up with an account, which is no different than most sites.

They will ask for your name, email as well as your phone number to confirm your account.  You must provide a phone number to get started.

The app is available worldwide, but I believe most of the paying ads will be targeted to UK users.  If you don’t live in the UK, you may not be as successful as those who do.

Final Thoughts

2/10The premise is very simple.  Download the app, wait for a notification and then watch the ad to make about $0.20.  Depending on the ad inventory, you can make about $1 to $2 a month, maybe a pinch more.  It won’t be much.

If you’re happy with those numbers, then sure, download it and see what you can make.  If not, there are a million other ways to make money online.  I would say this isn’t one of my favorite ways to do so.

That’s going to do it for now.
