Cash4Offers is mainly known as a way to get paid to read emails. It’s one of the only websites that I have come across that pays you to simply click on emails that come to your inbox. While this sounds great, it doesn’t pay all that much.
This isn’t the only way you can earn with Cash4Offers, however, as there are additional ways to make money, such as taking paid surveys, playing online games as well as referring your friends. Yes, it’s your typical GPT-like website, wherein you can earn a few dollars here and there, but don’t expect to get rich. This can be said for all of these websites.
Whether you heard about Cash4Offers and want to know more about this website or maybe you want to find additional ways to earn, let’s see what Cash4Offers is all about.
As in all of my reviews, I’m always unbiased, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.
What is Cash4Offers?
The problem with Cash4Offers is that they don’t say much about the company’s history. All I could find out is that they were founded in 2003, according to the website footer, and the name is a registered trademark. Yes, the company has been around for quite some time, and the website’s design almost shows it, as it hasn’t been updated in some time. Even though I can’t find much, it doesn’t always mean it’s a scam. I have researched a few websites that don’t talk much about the company’s history and were as legitimate as they could be.
Signing Up
To sign up for an account, the company asks for your basic information, such as your name, email as well as your physical address. There’s nothing uncommon here.
In signing up, the company does note that you can receive an instant $5 sign-up bonus, which is one of the highest bonuses on the market.
After you confirm your email address, you can start earning cash via your dashboard.
You must at least 18+ years old and reside in the United States or Canada.
Earning Money with Cash4Offers
To start making money with Cash4Offers, you can do so in a few ways, including:
- cash offers
- cash surveys
- cash games
- get paid to read emails
- referring friends
These are very common ways to make money on most GPT websites, and what I found is that most of what they worked with you could find on competing websites. In the sections below, I explain how each category works.
Cash Offers
In the cash offers section, you will find all of the offers you can complete for cash. Generally, your “offers” require you to sign up for something, such as an email list or even a paid trial. These can be lucrative if you sign up for the right one, but you just have to make sure it makes sense. For example, you don’t want to sign up for a $10 free trial when the company will only pay you $2.
When I was writing this review, Cash4Offers didn’t have much to choose from. In fact, they only had six offers, which is extremely low in comparison to competitors such as Swagbucks and Superpay.me, for instance.
On your sidebar, you will also see two other links, “free stuff,” which directs you back to the offers page, and the “earn points” section, which takes you to a third-party offerwall. Whenever you complete an offer inside this section, you can only earn points, not cash, and these points can then be exchanged for an Amazon gift card. At the moment, it looks like they work with the Peanut Labs offer wall.
Cash Surveys
In the surveys section, the company worked with only three partners, which included Dynata, Live Sample Opinion Surveys.
Again, while these survey routers are very reputable, Cash4Offers didn’t offer much in terms of surveys. These are routers you can find elsewhere, and honestly, if you’re going to take advantage of these survey routers, you might as well sign up for a company that has more than three. A good site will usually have at least six or eight.
Cash Games
Lastly, the cash games section, which is another way to earn, allows you to play games and earn money, however, at the time of this review, they didn’t have any offers. Even if they did, most games don’t pay much anyways. I’m talking pennies on the hour. And, if they do pay well, you usually have to gamble your money away.
I was seeing a trend here, as the company didn’t have much in terms of offers, no matter which section you looked at. And, while I said they used to focus on getting paid to read emails, this doesn’t seem like an option, either. In my opinion, the company is about as good as its design.
Get Paid to Read Emails
This isn’t advertised as much as it should be, but when you do sign up, Cash4Offers will start sending you emails, generally with the subject line, “a paid email is waiting for you.”
And, whenever you open this email and click on the advertisement, you will get paid about $0.01, on average. No, it’s not much, and yes, it will take you 100 emails to make $1, so it’s not what you think.
Now, the kicker here is that if you’re sick and tired of the emails, you can’t unsubscribe unless you cancel your account. It’s either have no account or receive the emails. I thought this was quite frustrating.
Refer a Friend
Aside from the above-mentioned ways, you can also earn when you refer your friends. For every successful referral who completes an offer, you get a $3 bonus, and there appears to be no limit as to how many friends you can refer.
Many sites like this offer a refer a friend section, and Cash4Offers does offer one of the better bonuses.
Rewards
The bad thing about Cash4Offers is that you need at least $35 to cash out, which makes it one of the highest thresholds in the industry. Even though they do give you a $5 bonus when you sign up, it’s going to take a long time to reach that threshold, seeing the website doesn’t have much to do.
They also have a points system, as I mentioned earlier in the guide, and you will need at least 1,500 points to require an Amazon gift card. This is the only option you can choose if you have a points balance.
And, if you’re not a “Gold” member, you will have to wait about three business days for your payment to process and then another 25 days from the end of the month in which you processed your payment. Again, this is very slow in comparison to competitors.
If you are a Gold member, however, you can receive your payment within 72 hours. To become a Gold member, you need to request one payment, that’s it. After your first payment processes, you will automatically become a Gold member.
All cash payments are sent out via PayPal.
The Pros:
- PayPal
- great refer-a-friend option
The Cons:
- very limited offers
- high minimum payout threshold
- nothing unique
- outdated
- 25+ days to receive a payment if not a Gold member
- not mobile friendly
- get bombarded with spam emails
Final Thoughts
3/10Cash4Offers was probably good many years ago, but now, they seem to have no offers available, as I found it to be very limited. With so many great choices out there in this industry, Cash4Offers isn’t one. While it is a legitimate company, it’s just not worth your time. Between waiting almost a month for your payment and building up a $35 balance, it’s just too much. I couldn’t find anything that would get me to join. And, sure, while they have the email reading options, let’s face it in that 100 emails being equal to $1 is not worth your time.
That’s going to wrap it up.
