The Gopinion, created by BitBurst GmbH, has more than 100,000+ downloads and an okay 4.4/5 rating on the Google Play Store.

Like the many survey apps on the market, they state that you can take a survey and get paid with free gift cards.  While the premise sounds great, there are a ton of these apps on the market, some bad, some much better than others.  I try my best to distinguish which ones are best.

If you want to take surveys and get paid with your phone, it can be done; however, it’s not going to make you rich.  Even the best survey apps on the market only make you a few dollars a day, but sometimes, it’s all you’re looking for.

In today’s review, I downloaded the Gopinion app to let you know if it’s worth your time.  I will discuss how it works, what you can make, and of course, let you know if it’s worth your time.

As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Earning Money with Gopinion

The minute you download the app, you will have to connect your account with your Google profile.  This seems to be the only way you can sign up at the moment, so if you’re uncomfortable with this, you won’t be able to use it, unfortunately.

The sign-up process is very easy and you can start earning money almost immediately.  This is what your dashboard is going to look like:

As you can see, the dashboard is very straight forward.

You will see how long the survey takes, what you will make as well as the “rating.”  The higher the star rating, the more popular it is amongst the survey takers on the platform.  I usually like the higher ratings because this often means I will have a smaller chance of getting disqualified from the surveys.  If you’re new to the survey world, do keep in mind that you will not always qualify for every survey you click on.

Whenever you see a survey of interest, make sure it’s worth your time and then click on the “+ coins” button to start the process.

NOTE:  You can refer your friends on the app if you choose to do so.  Whenever you use your special code, you get 15% of what they earn and your friend gets a 250 coin bonus.

How Much Are the Coins Worth?

Every 1,000 coins are worth $1 give or take.

For example, a $15 PayPal payout will set you back 15,900 coins, whereas a $50 payout will cost you 50,900 in coins.

Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as one point per penny, so keep that in mind.

How Much Will I Make?

With any survey app, including this one, you will never make a ton.

Seeing most of the surveys pay 500 to 5,000 points, that’s about $0.50 to $5 per surveys.  However, the average was about $1 give or take.

If you were to log in and qualify for a few, I think you could make $2 to $5 per day, but this could take much more work than you think.  How much you make will ultimately depend on your demographics and how often you use it.

The Rewards

When it comes time to cash out, the company does offer a wide variety of good rewards, which include:

All payouts start at $15 (15,900 coins), which is quite high in comparison to other competitors, so do keep in mind that it may take some time to reach this threshold.

When you do cash out, you will have to wait up to 48 hours to receive your payment on average.

The Pros:

• easy to use
• surveys seemed to pay higher than average
• lots of rewards
• a legitimate company

The Cons:

• lots of survey disqualifications
• some reported not receiving rewards after completing surveys
• higher $15 threshold

Final Thoughts

6/10Gopinion is one of the better survey apps out there, mainly because I like the BitBurst GmbH company.  They also run Poll Pay, which I have found to be pretty good, too.

In the end, you won’t make a ton with any of these apps, and this can be said about this one, however, don’t let this deter you as this app is pretty easy to use.

The only struggle I have with this is that you need $15 to cash out, but I wouldn’t say it’s a deal breaker, seeing they have a ton of reward options available.
