JumpTask App Review: Earn Free Cryptocurrency

JumpTask is a small money-making app that pays you cryptocurrency in exchange for completing simple and remote tasks.

But, the question here is how simple are these tasks?  Is this just one of the many money-making apps on the market?  Can you make money?

Seeing the app doesn’t have the greatest reviews or the best reputation online, I want to confirm why in today’s review.

Whether you’re looking to learn more about JumpTask or you’re looking for other ways to make money with your phone, let’s see what this app is all about and if it’s worth your time.

Let’s begin.

What is JumpTask?

JumpTask seems to be like any other GPT site, where you’re rewarded to complete a variety of tasks, such as completing offers, playing games, sharing your bandwidth and more.  At first glance, it’s not much different than the many apps that I have talked about in the past, only that it pays out in cryptocurrency rather than cash.

The company in itself is, indeed, legitimate.  It was developed by a team of professionals who hold a passion for crypto.  You can find out more about the co-founder as well as the company’s history here.

Earning Money with JumpTask

The nice thing about JumpTask is that you can earn cryptocurrency in a variety of ways, again, most of which you can find on most GPT-like websites.  You won’t earn much completing these tasks, but I think you can easily earn $10 to $20 per week with ease.

When you create an account, your dashboard will look something like this, where it nicely breaks down the money-making categories.

The list you see above, beneath the “have a minute?” sub-category continues, and I will talk about each money-making opportunity below here.

#1 Offers

Like most GPT sites, JumpTask will make most of its money in the offers section.

Here, you can complete offers and earn what’s noted.  So, for example, that “LootPlay” app will pay you 5.95796 JMPT, which is the company’s cryptocurrency if you were to play games and collect coins.

The offers section is fairly straightforward.  You will just have to read the directions, complete the offers as it states and wait for your reward.  In most cases, it will take 30 days for your rewards to show up.

Lastly, do keep in mind that some offers do require you to buy something or even sign up for a trial.  If you see this, it can be worth your time still, but just make sure the math adds up.  For example, if you’re paid $20 in rewards to sign up for a $10 free trial, then you could make $10 and take advantage of the offer.

#2 Staking

The neat thing about JumpTask is that they allow you to stake, which is similar to that of an interest-bearing savings account.

When you “stake” the crypto in your wallet, then you can essentially put your crypt to work on the blockchain.  Simply put, your cryptocurrency can help ensure that all transactions are verified and secured without a bank.

Depending on the stake, as you can see, you can earn an 18%+ APR.

If you plan on holding onto your JMPT rewards, then staking may be a good idea to build a bigger balance for the future.

#3 Games

Another way to earn is via the games section.  I have talked about games so many times, and 99% of the time, you will not make money.  It isn’t always true, however.

When I was writing this review, JumpTask didn’t have many game options, as you can see in the screenshot above.  You can earn something, but it’s not going to be much.

Like the offers, just follow the directions to earn the reward specified.

#4 Surveys

In the surveys section, it appears they work with a limited number offerwalls, which are simply third-party companies that provide them with surveys.  Simply put, you can find these opportunities everywhere.

As you can see from the screenshot, they are only working with one option at the moment, but it did appear one was coming soon.

If you were interested in taking the surveys, just click on an offerwall of interest and complete any surveys that seem like it’s worth your time.  You won’t qualify for all of the surveys you click on, but you can qualify for some.

Surveys don’t always pay the most on these offerwalls, but you can earn anywhere between $0.10 to $2+ per survey.

#5 Honeygain

The last way you can earn is just a simple redirect to another company known as Honeygain.  They aren’t affiliated with JumpTask; it just appears they get a commission if you were to sign up.  Picture it like a partnership, I guess.

In short, Honeygain will pay you to share your internet access.  And, depending on the daily traffic shared on the network as well as your daily content delivery, you can earn $10+ per month it seems.

I haven’t written about this company yet, but they seem to have mixed reviews.  You can check them out without having to download the JumpTask app if you’re interested in sharing your internet.  Usually, I don’t recommend doing so because of privacy purposes, but you may have different feelings than I do.

Rewards and Cashing Out

As you probably know by now, this is strictly an app that pays only in cryptocurrency.  In this case, they only pay out in JMPT tokens, which is the currency they created.  The nice thing is that you can exchange it for cash or convert it to another token if you want.  All of the tokens you earn will be held in your wallet.

How much are JMPT tokens worth?

Like all cryptocurrencies, it just depends on the market conditions.  While I was writing this, for example, every token was worth $2.42, however, it’s been as low as $1.71.  You can take a look at the history below.

For now, you should be prepared to make about $2~ per token if that helps.  But, of course, this can change over time.

How Much Can I Make?

I don’t think you’re going to be able to make much, at least from what I saw in terms of offerings.

Based on my research and comparison with competitors, I would say you could earn about $5~ a week by completing a few offers or surveys here and there.  What you make will greatly depend on what offers you’re completing, how often you log in and how much time you invest.  There are a lot of factors, as you can imagine.

I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest money-making app on the market nor would I say it’s the worse.  I would probably put it near the middle, maybe a bit lower than that.

What the Reviews Say

So, the problem with this app is that it has pretty bad reviews.  I’m talking a 3/5 rating on the Google Play Store, which isn’t the greatest.

Here are a few things they had to say…

It seemed like a lot of people weren’t getting credit for the offers they were completing, so if you do complete one, make sure you have evidence when you finish so that you can get rewarded.

Other than the non-crediting offers, people complained about the Honeygain connection, and this seemed like one of the main reasons people wanted to use this app.

Signing Up

If you are interested in creating an account and making money with JumpTask, you will need to connect your crypto wallet if you have one.

Even if you don’t, you can easily create a wallet using one of the platforms seen above in the graphic, such as Google, Twitter, etc.  If you were to create an account, then it would link your wallet immediately within the app, where you can withdraw your earnings to your wallet.

The whole process takes maybe two minutes at most to get started. Once you complete your crypto wallet connection, you can get started immediately.

As to who can join, anyone worldwide appears to be eligible as long as you’re 18+ years old.

Final Thoughts

4/10There’s no doubt JumpTask is a legitimate company, but I don’t think it’s the best option on the market.  I don’t like that you only get paid in JMPT tokens and that the offers are very limited.  I highly recommend you check out other apps before you highly consider JumpTask.  That’s just my opinion, however.

In the end, highly consider it if you like the idea of earning JMPT tokens and maybe making $3 to $5 per week, but other than that, don’t expect much.

That’s going to do it for now.
