How to Make 10 Dollars Extremely Fast (32+ Ways)

Some of the links inside this post may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

Whatever the reason may be, making $10 fast is actually easier than you think.

Most of the opportunities I’m about to list can generally earn you $10 in less than one to three hours, but this greatly depends on who you sign up for and how hard you work.  Some of the options I’m about to list, however, could take much longer than three hours, so please keep that in mind.

And, no, you won’t have to apply for a job nor will you have to wait to be approved as most of the strategies I’m about to list can be done almost instantly, allowing you to cash out by the end of the day.  Some do have a small waiting period, usually no longer than 48 hours.

As always, I’m always honest here, so you won’t see me peddling those garbage $300 courses or an option that isn’t worth your time.  I have tested all of these options and can assure you that as long as you’re following the rules, you can have a cool $10 in your pocket at the end of the day.

Let’s begin!

How to Make $10 Fast (32+ Options to Try)

Swagbucks

By far, Swagbucks is one of my favorite websites to make cash on the side, and honestly, it’s one of the only options I use on a consistent basis.

In short, if you’re unfamiliar with Swagbucks, they will pay you to answer survey questions, watch videos, complete offers and much more.

Now, I usually complete surveys that I see of value, and if you do the same, there’s no reason you can’t earn $10 in less than two hours.

For instance, take a look at my dashboard as I’m writing this:

As you see, the one I highlighted would pay you 3,500 SB, which is the equivalent of $35 for 10 minutes of your time.  Not bad!

Another, that eight-minute option, would pay me 100 SB or $1 for my time.  Some won’t be worth your time, as I mentioned, so just make sure you choose wisely.

Most of the time, at least from what I have found, these surveys don’t take as long as Swagbucks states.  So an eight-minute survey will really only take you about four minutes if that makes sense.

With Swagbucks, just find $10 worth of surveys (they are always refreshing), complete them and then cash out for PayPal cash or even a gift card.  It’s up to you!

Best of all, if it’s your first time, they will give you a $5 bonus just for joining!

Vindale Research

I wrote about Vindale Research in my very popular $100 per survey post, but I want to recommend them here as well as they do offer a ton of surveys that pay anywhere from $0.50 to $5 or more.

Like Survey Junkie, Vindale Research will focus on surveys only, but I found them to be one of the best paying options out of all the companies I mention on this list.

For example, check out my profile when I’m writing this:

Vindale updates its surveys all of the time and simply lets you know what you’re earning.  And, the thing about that screenshot is that I could scroll on and view another 20+ survey opportunities.  It kept going on and on.

If you’re aggressive enough, there’s no reason you can’t earn $10 by the end of the day, much like the other options I list here.  In fact, I don’t see it hard to earn $10 in less than two hours to be honest.

If you want to earn $10 fast, I do recommend keeping Vindale Research high on your list.

Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie works just like the Swagbucks, but the thing that I liked the most about them is that they solely focus on surveys only, which, at least me, are usually the highest paying offers.  You do need to be at least 13 years old and reside in the United States, Canada or Australia.

You’re not going to get rich doing these surveys, but earning $10 in a day is entirely possible as the company constantly adds survey opportunities throughout the day, with each on paying anywhere from $0.50 to more than $3.

While I was writing this review, for instance, here’s what my dashboard looked like:

Like Swagbucks, one point is worth $0.01, so that 105 point survey would be worth $1.05, whereas that 140 point option would be worth $1.40.

Again, Survey Junkie adds a ton of surveys throughout the day, so if you click around, I don’t see what you can’t earn $10 if you’re aggressive enough.  And, if you haven’t done so, be sure to check out my in-depth Survey Junkie review to see how the platform works.

PointClub

PointClub is yet another survey-like website that rewards you to take surveys, and like the many I have already listed, PointClub always seems to have a ton available.

For reference, here’s my screenshot at the time of this review:

Do keep in mind that every 1,000 points equal $1 so that 1250 point survey would be worth $1.25, whereas the 500 point survey would be worth $0.50.

That screenshot is only a pinch of what they offered as I could click on the “see all survey opportunities” and take advantage of many more.

Again, depending on how aggressive you are, earning $10 fast is quite doable, but PointClub has a $25 minimum, which, if you’re a first-time visitor, is really $20 because they give you $5 for free once you fill out your profile, all of which takes less than five minutes.

FusionCash

FusionCash is an awesome way to make $10 fast for a variety of reasons.

For one, the company offers some of the highest paying surveys from the research I did in my FusionCash review.  I mean, take a look at my dashboard as I’m writing this:

And secondly, they always have a ton of surveys.  I’m talking 30+ at any given time it seems.  Yes, that graphic above continues to go on and on.

If you want to keep busy and easily reach $10 in an hour or so, FusionCash needs to be high on your list.  Plus, if I were to gamble on one website that could net you $10 within the next few hours, this is where most of my money would go on my bet, that’s for sure.

Opinion Bureau

Out of all the options I list here, I would say Opinion Bureau doesn’t offer the most surveys, however, the surveys they do offer tend to be quite high in value.

For instance, when I joined, I was able to take surveys as high as $4~ on average, and the great thing was that it only took me a few minutes to complete.

The surveys are few and far between, but the company does offer a $5 bonus as long as you fill out your profile in depth.

Consider at least joining to see what surveys are available on your panel because $10 won’t be hard to reach, especially if you have a few surveys available to you.

MyPoints

Why not add yet another reputable survey company to the list if you’re looking to make a quick $10?

MyPoints, aside from rewarding you for taking surveys, will also reward you to watch videos, play games and even sign up for offers.

Again, most of your money relies in taking surveys, but if you want to earn even more, you can check out the other ways to make cash on the website as well.  Personally, I just don’t find much value in these areas.

Like most of these options I do list, there are always quite a few options available, with most surveys ranging from anywhere from 25 to more than 500 points, with each point worth about a penny.

Take a look at my dashboard, for instance:

When signing up, just make sure you fill out your profile screener to ensure that you can access all of the survey options on your dashboard.

Work hard enough throughout the day and I don’t see any reason you can’t earn $10 in the next few hours.  Add in the other websites I mentioned here and earning well beyond $10 is very doable.

Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars reminds me a lot of Swagbucks since the company offers the same options they do, such as surveys, offers, games and much more.  Again, the money relies in the surveys area and Inbox Dollars is yet another fantastic option where you can start earning in as little as five minutes.

Writing this review, I just wanted to quickly show you how much I could earn via my dashboard:

The thing I like about Inbox Dollars is that they just tell you what you’re going to make, so there’s no silly points system.

So the survey at the top pays you $1.25, while the smaller ones pay $0.75.  Now, just because they only pay $0.75, don’t be discouraged as they often take a few minutes of your time.   Doing a few of these within the hour can easily add up to $10+ if you have enough opportunities.

Like Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars will send you $5 as a bonus as long as you complete your signup process, all of which only takes a few minutes to do.

Again, find some surveys of interest, complete them and your balance can rise quite quickly as long as you’re aggressive enough.

Survey Savvy

Survey Savvy is another one of my favorites, mainly because they send me a lot of invites, often as high as $20+.  For example, as I was writing this, I could take part in a $20 study if I was accepted.

Not only do you get some great invites, but most of the surveys you will see are often more than $1, making it very easy to reach your $10 goal if that’s what you want to earn.

Joining is 100% free and only takes minutes.  The company accepts members from all around the world, so this could be a great chance of getting accepted if you live outside the United States.

Join a Focus Group

Focus groups won’t make you money right now like a lot of the survey website I mentioned above, but you could find that there are some companies who need you in the next couple of days.  This is one of the main reasons I wanted to include this option here.

The cool thing about focus groups is that they often pay more than $50+ per test, but as a downfall, you do need to visit the location in person to often participate.

So, if you don’t mind visiting a research center in person to help answer questions, discuss a product, etc, you may want to check out the following legitimate companies:

I talked about them more in-depth in my $100+ per survey post if you were interested in learning more about them and even finding more opportunities.

mTurk

I have written about mTurk in the past in quite a few of my blog posts, but if you’re sick of me talking about surveys, then mTurk may be an option to consider.

If you’re not familiar with mTurk, you’re basically can help others complete smaller tasks that range anywhere from a $0.01 to more than $1+.  This depends on the job you choose.

Now, the cool thing about mTurk is that you can always pick the jobs you want to complete and you can work whenever you please.  Picture it as a side hustle.

If you haven’t signed up just yet, do keep in mind that it can take a few days before your account is accepted, so while this isn’t a way to make $10 right now, you can earn $10 pretty fast once you’re accepted.

There’s a learning curve when making money with mTurk, but to learn more about the platform, I do recommend you check out Side Hustle From Home: How To Make Money Online With Amazon Mechanical Turk, a very low-cost eBook found on Amazon with a ton of five-star reviews.

Clickworker

Clickworker works just like mTurk, so if you like the idea of performing smaller tasks for a few cents each, then it could be another one to consider.

Don’t get expect to get rich in doing these tasks, but if you become efficient enough, there’s no reason you can’t make $8+ an hour once you get good enough at it.

Seeing Clickworker needs its own post to tell you how to maximize your time while performing tasks, I recommend reading Step-By-Step Guide To Making 15-36$/Hour With Clickworker Instantly — a very inexpensive eBook on Amazon.

Textbroker

If you don’t mind writing 300+ word articles, then Textbroker may be of interest to you.

And, no, you don’t have to be a perfect writer, however, it does help to know basic grammar to move up in the ranks as the higher you rank, the more you can make.  For example, a four-star writer can make about $0.014 per word, whereas a level two writer will make $0.007 per word.

It’s one of the best ways to make $10 fast, especially if you’re an efficient and decent writer.  In fact, if you’re good enough, it’s a wonderful way to easily make $100+ per week, making for a great side gig.

You can’t get approved instantly with Textbroker, but most of the time, you can gain access to your dashboard to start working.

As a bonus, be sure to check out my 40+ favorite websites that pay you to type if you like the idea of working with Textbroker.  There are quite a few companies out there that will pay you to type!

iWriter

The pay isn’t the greatest with iWriter, but if you have a knack for writing, it may be one to consider right now, especially if you’re dying to make $10 in the next 24 hours.

With iWriter, it’s as simple as signing up, getting approved and then browsing the job dashboard to see if any jobs are of interest.  If you find a job that you feel you can write, be sure to follow the directions closely, type your post and wait for the requester to accept your work.

Generally, as long as your writing is readable and you follow the directions, there’s no reason you won’t get accepted.

Again, it’s not an amazing way to make money, but it could come in handy in dire situations.  So, for now, at least check it out because high-ranking writers can make quite a bit of money per hour.

Rev.com

If you like the idea of writing but don’t like the idea of researching a topic, that’s fine as there are other options as well, particularly in the transcription field.

Unlike iWriter and Textbroker, transcription websites require you to listen to audio and just write what you hear.  You will need to be fast at typing to make it worth it, but if you feel you can type at least 50 words per minute, then I would consider at least giving it a shot.

Rev.com, one of the biggest transcription websites online, lets anyone apply, and as long as you can pass their screening test, which consists of a small audio sample you need to type, you could be writing in as little as a few days.

Rev.com pays anywhere from $0.36 to $0.75 per audio minute and you can work at your own pace.

There are many other jobs opportunities, aside from Rev.com, but at least from my research, they appeared to be the best company to work with and always seemed to be hiring.  Plus, out of most companies, they seemed to be the fastest to accept you to start working.

If you like the idea of Rev, be sure to check out my 101+ transcription companies hiring right now as well as these closed captioning jobs.

TranscribeMe

I’m going to include TranscribeMe.com along with Rev.com as they are known to approve transcriptionists pretty quick as well.

With this company, it works in the same way, wherein you transcribe short two to four-minute audio clips.  Just type what you hear and you will be good as gold.

You never have to look for work as it comes to you and you can work whenever you want.  There’s truly no schedule.

Pay is said to about $0.33 per audio minute.

instaGC

I wouldn’t say instaGC is my favorite option out of all the survey-like websites I listed here, but I’m going to include it here anyway as it is an okay option if you want to earn $10 fast.

instaGC works much like the survey companies I already mentioned, but the thing about them is that they don’t offer a lot of unique surveys.  Rather, they link out to what’s known as “offer walls.”  While there’s nothing wrong with this, I have found that a lot of these companies that implement this type of setup often don’t offer the best bang for your hourly rate.

Regardless, if you want to learn more, I do recommend you check out my instaGC review to learn more about how this platform works and how you can make some extra cash today.

Decluttr

If you have a lot of CDs, books, games, books or any technology-like gadgets, regardless of its age, then Decluttr will want to offer you a cash offer right on the spot.

While you will have to find some items around the house, this is an awesome option if you want to make $10 quick without really having to do anything but “decluttr” your house.

Decluttr is one of the many companies that offer an instant quote, but there are some alternatives you may want to check out as well, all of which I covered in this where to sell used DVDs post and how to make $1,000 fast.

Just enter the UPC or describe it and Decluttr will offer you a quote instantly.  If you like what you see, send in your items and get paid cash after they confirm your shipment.  It’s quite easy!

Now, Decluttr isn’t the only game in town as there are multiple other websites that work in the same way.  If you like the idea of simply sending in something you don’t want for instant cash, then I recommend you check out my comparison chart on this post.

Sell Your Clothes on Poshmark

Much like Decluttr focuses on books and tech gadgets, Poshmark allows you to sell your gently used clothes for cash.

Working a lot like eBay, Poshmark lets you create a listing, set your price and then wait for a buyer.  It can all be done in three simple steps with your app.

Then, when you make a sale, you ship your clothes out using the company’s prepaid label and get paid.

Today, as I write this, it’s one of the biggest platforms to sell your clothes, but there are many others to consider.  If you want to sell your clothes, be sure to check out these 22+ best apps to help sell your clothes.

Sell Unwanted Books

Have any books lying around the house that you no longer read?

If so, you may want to consider the following book buyback companies that will offer you an instant quote for your book…

Most of the companies will vary with their pricing, so I do recommend you at least get a few quotes before proceeding.  And yes, you just tell them what you have and they will offer you a quote instantly.

If you do find a price you like, ship in your book and get paid.  While you’re better off selling your books on your own, it’s often a nice choice if you don’t have the time and/or just don’t want to deal with the public.

It’s a great way to get paid without having to worry about dealing with the public.

UserTesting

UserTesting could quite possibly be the quickest way to earn $10 in less than 20 minutes.

This website asks you to visit a website/app and then basically speak your thoughts aloud when using the website.  As the name indicates, you’re testing the website as the average user to help the creator learn about what you like and dislike.

If you’re accepted to a job, they pay $10 per 20 minutes of your time and pay via PayPal.

Before you get excited, however, you do need to apply and wait for a job invite.  It may not be fast, but it could be a great way to earn $10 fast in the future.

JobSpotter App

The JobSpotter app, powered by Indeed, is quite possibly one of my favorite apps to use on the go, and the best thing is that anyone can get started right away.

And how the app works is quite simple.

All you have to do is find any “help wanted” sign when you’re out and about and take a picture of it.   That’s it!

Depending on the picture you take, the pay can range anywhere from $0.10 to $1+.  Generally, what I found is that you want to often target the mom and pop restaurants as these tend to pay more than the corporate help wanted signs.  Regardless, take as many pictures as you can and the $10 will add up very fast.

There are other ways to make money while taking pictures, all of which I wrote about here, but I just found JobSpotter to be the quickest and best option.

Field Agent

The Field Agent app is probably my second favorite app, just behind the JobSpotter app.

And how it works is very easy.

Open the app, browse jobs in your area and complete them to get paid.  The cool thing about these jobs is that a lot of them pay up to $10!

As for the jobs, they are very straightforward.  It can be anything from taking a picture of a display in a store or taking a survey after talking with a store employee.  Just open up a job ahead of time and it will tell you the location, the pay and what is needed of you in order to get compensated.

It’s similar to that of mystery shopping, but in my opinion, it’s much easier to use and understand.

Fiverr

This really isn’t a make $10 fast option as it could take a few days before you land your first client, but I wanted to include it here anyway.

With Fiverr, anyone can create their own service, whether it’s writing, creating pictures or just about anything really.  Just think of something you’re good at and are willing to do for $5~ or so.  There are a lot of ideas, trust me!

Create your listing, market it and then hope someone that buys your service.  Once you gain high reviews, you will find that your sales will slowly start to rise over time.

As you can imagine, it can take some work and it does have a learning curve, but if you are interested in potentially making some great money on the side, I do recommend you check out the Fiverr Master Class, which is a very low-cost eBook that can teach you everything you need to know to make some great money.

Sell Plasma

If you don’t mind the idea of needles, this is, by far, one of the easiest ways to earn way more than $10+.

For example, at my local plasma site, here’s what they pay:

This seems to be the average rate, so if you like what you see and again, don’t mind using needles, search for something along the lines of “plasma center near me” to find a center you can visit.

Before visiting, though, just make sure you at least read the restrictions before wasting your time.

Sell Your Hair

If you’re willing to hack off five inches or more off of your hair, did you know that you could earn hundreds of dollars in doing so?

Websites, such as HairSellOn.com and BuyandSellHair, allow you to create a posting, similar to that of eBay, and will allow you to reach out to buyers who want to buy real hair.  Generally, the longer and thicker it is, the more you can potentially make.

If you find a buyer, then you ship off your hair and get paid.  It’s pretty straightforward.

While you won’t make money right now, you could earn hundreds if you have enough locks to cut off.  Check out the listings on these websites to see what hair is going for because you may be surprised at what people are making!

Airbnb

This is kind of outside the box thinking and is much different than the other companies mentioned, but if you have a room/house to rent out, this could yield you much more than $10, sometimes as much as $100+.

If you haven’t heard of Airbnb, it basically lets you list a room or a home for sale, generally for travelers looking for a place to stay.  This is no different than booking a hotel room.

You call the shots, so you will be in charge of creating your listing, setting the price and ensuring your guests settle in.

Now, since this option is different, there are a few guidelines.

For one, you need a room or house to rent out, and secondly, you will need to be prepared to act as a hotel manager for the time being while guests book your place.

It may take a few days before you land your first guest, but this is a fantastic way to make money on the side without putting in too much effort.

Uber

Uber often approves you within 24 to 48 hours and is a great option if you don’t mind toting around people or even food if you don’t like the idea of a stranger.

Simply sign up, work for an hour during peak times and $10 will be so easy to earn.

As one of the best ways to earn a pretty decent income on the side, I highly recommend you at least look into it to see what you can make in your city.  Again, as long as you’re working during peak times, there’s no reason you can’t make more than $10 per hour.

Aside from Uber, check out Doordash, Instacart, Postmates or even GrubHub to earn even more.

Sell Unwanted Gift Cards

Do you have a gift card lying around that you know that you will never use?

Well, instead of letting it collect dust or even risk selling it on eBay and getting scammed, consider selling it to one of the most popular gift card websites on the web like CardPool and Raise.

Both of these websites allow you to list your gift cards and makeup to 95% of the value!

CardPool offers an instant rate while Raise will make you wait for a buyer.

Rent out Your Car

Like Airbnb, this is another stretch, but if you don’t mind renting out your car to strangers, this could be a very quick way to easily earn $20+ per day, greatly depending on what car you have.

Turo.com, one of the biggest peer-to-peer car rental companies online, offers a calculator online in which you can try to see what you can make.

And if you’re worried about working with strangers, I get it, but let it be known that Turo includes a $1 million liability policy to protect you.

It’s free to list and you get to decide the price.

Final Thoughts

A lot of the other “make money fast” blog posts you find online often say you can make $10 fast, but most of the garbage they link out to only put money in their pockets and takes days to earn anything.  So, it’s not really a “fast” way to earn a few bucks.

Almost all of the ideas I list above, with an exception of a few, such as Uber and Airbnb, can earn you $10 in less than 24 hours, I can promise you that much.

And, best of all, you don’t need to leave the home for most of these strategies.

As long as you work hard and have a goal in mind, I can promise you it can be done with the legitimate companies I listed.  Just start scrolling through and finding one that interests you.

As always, if I’m missing any websites, do let me know as I will be more than happy to add them.  You’re also welcomed to talk about any experiences you may have had with these companies as well!

In the meantime, pick out a few you like, join and hopefully you can make $10 quicker than you would have imagined.
