There’s going to be a time when you need cash right now, and you can’t afford to wait.

If you’re finding yourself in these shoes, then let it be known that there are quite a few options that you can take advantage of to earn money in as little as 60 minutes.

Granted, some of these options won’t make you $100s, but it could put $10, $20 or even $50+ in your pocket in less than an hour.  It all depends on what method you use, what you have as well as how hard you work at it.

In today’s post, I’m going to mention all of the strategies you can take advantage of right now to help you earn the money you need.  All of these options are 100% legitimate, and I can promise you that they do pay out.  If you’ve been reading my posts for quite some time, you know I don’t mess around when it comes to being honest.  I will never link to something I wouldn’t do.

So, if you need to make money in an hour, sit back and take a gander at the many options below to see which one you want to do.

How to Make Money in One Hour (Online and Off)

NOTE:  As a quick note, a lot of these options won’t make you a ton of cash.  Some will, but in these cases, you may need to wait for your registration to complete until you can start working.  This could take up to 48+ hours.  Nonetheless, I will let you know how each option works in the subheadings below.  Good luck!

InstaGC

InstaGC is a fantastic way to earn about $5 to maybe $10 in the next hour.  The great thing about the website is that they pay out almost instantly as well, hence, the name.

If you’re unfamiliar with the platform, they will reward you to take surveys, complete offers, watch videos and more.  How much you make will greatly depend on your demographic and what you complete.

It’s not much, but if you want $5+ in the next hour, it’s one to consider.

SuperPay.Me

SuperPay.Me works a lot like InstaGC, but in my eyes, they aren’t as popular.

Nonetheless, it’s an option that pays out quite fast, usually in less than 24 hours.  It is legit!

You will have to take surveys and complete offers, etc, to earn your cash, but you could earn at least $5 to $10+ in the next hour or so.  Again, it depends on how hard you work as well as your demographics.

I did review this company in detail in the past, so I recommend you at least check it out to see the many ways you can earn cash on the platform!

Qmee

Qmee is another survey/offers-like website that pays you within minutes of requesting a payout.

You will have to complete surveys and/or offers in order to build your balance, but this is another great option if you want to earn money from your home.

Again, don’t expect to get rich, but I don’t see why you couldn’t earn $5 or $10 in the next hour or so after signing up.  Be sure to check out my Qmee review as well as the Qmee alternatives to see how it works in detail.

Take Advantage of the Facebook Marketplace

There’s has to be something that you can sell online, I know it.  Start with your electronic gadgets as these tend to sell the fastest and garner the most interest.

Whether it’s big or small, list your item on the Facebook Marketplace with an aggressive price, and you could have it gone within the hour.

I wrote about a quick guide to garage sales on Facebook, so I recommend you check it out if you want to figure out how to sell on the platform.  Depending on what you sell, you could easily make $25 to $100+ in the next 60 minutes.

Don’t Forget About Selling on Craigslist

Depending on what you have to sell, Craigslist can work almost as good as Facebook Marketplace.  I find Craigslist to be a better option for your larger items that are harder to sell online.

Again, as long as your item is priced right, you could have money in hand within the hour.

While Craigslist is a household name, let it be known that there many alternatives as well.  Check out a post I made in the past, where I researched more than 30+ Craigslist alternatives as well.

Sell Your Plasma

There’s a good chance you have a plasma center nearby that’s willing to pay you for your donation.

As long as you meet the guidelines (be in good health, non-smoker, etc) and you’re not afraid of needles, then you could donate as early as right now and earn up to $50+ for your donation.

The Craigslist “Gigs” Section

The Craigslist “gigs” section is a gold mine for daily work.

Work can range from moving furniture to helping someone with yard work.  No matter where you live, there will always be somebody posting a “gig” that you may want to take advantage of.

The best thing about these gigs is that you can work within the next hour, sometimes making up to $100+ for the job.

Take a look at what’s being offered in your city, and if anything is of interest, contact the poster to see if they still need help.

Flip Some Freebies on Craigslist

Like the gigs section, Craigslist also has a fantastic freebie section, with people posting hundreds of items daily.

While most of these freebies aren’t the greatest, you could find a gem once in a while.

Consider taking these freebies off their hands and then flipping it for cash in some way or another.  Find a few items worth $10+ and it starts to add up.

If going this route, do keep in mind that this is quite competitive as you won’t be the only person doing it.  With that in mind, you will want to make sure you contact someone fast.

Instant Pay with Uber, DoorDash and Grubhub

If you don’t mind driving around people and/or food, then consider driving for one of these top delivery platforms.

Yes, it will take you at least 24+ hours to become active, but once in, you can use what’s known as an “instant cash” feature, which pays you instantly based on what you delivered for the day.  From my experience, Uber only took about 48 hours, whereas DoorDash took about a week.  Grubhub can take the longest since they tend to treat their drivers the best and have the highest payouts.

Out of all the options I note here, I would say that this one could earn you the most in one hour.  I do is part-time and can easily $150+ in a weekend day or about $20 to $25 for the hour.  You do need to learn how the system works as well as what orders to accept, but once you get a system down, you can really make some good cash.  Yes, there’s an art to it!

Join TaskRabbit

Like Uber and the companies mentioned prior, TaskRabbit can be another option that can easily make you money within the hour.  The only downfall is that you will have to get approved by the platform before you can start working.  This could take a few days, depending on your market.

If you’re not familiar with TaskRabbit, it’s basically a platform that connects you with people in your area who needs help with almost any project you can imagine.  From hanging pictures to delivering groceries, it can cover it all.

The great thing about TaskRabbit is that you can get to choose the jobs that you want and work whenever you want.

Consider a Pawn Shop

If you have any gold lying around the house, consider going to a local pawn shop and getting a quote.  It doesn’t even need to be gold as many pawn shops will purchase jewelry, electronics and more as well.

Not all pawn shops are created equally.  For that reason, I highly recommend you at least check out their reviews online to see what other people are saying.

A pawn shop is a great way to get quick cash for your gold or even other items you don’t want to bother selling that you know have value.

Sell Your Clothes to a Consignment Store

See if you have a Plato’s Closet or a Once Upon a Child in your area as these companies will offer you cash for your clothes.  There are others as well, most of which you can search for “clothing consignment near me” or “sell clothes near me” to see who’s willing to buy your clothes.

As long as your clothes are in good condition and it’s a brand they accept, you could earn $1 to $5+ per item, making for quite the haul if you have a ton of clothes you want to get rid of.

The great thing about this option is that they will offer you cash on the spot, easily within the hour.

Recycle

If you’re lucky enough to live in a state with a bottle deposit, consider heading to a local park or construction site to see if you can find any cans.

In Michigan, for example, you can score $0.10 a can.  Collect 10 cans and it’s an easy dollar.

You won’t get rich with this method, but you could make $5, $15 or may be $25 for the next hour depending on how many cans you can find.

Sell Scrap Metal

Chances are there’s a recycling center near you that’s willing to pay you for your scrap metal.

See what’s nearby via a search and try to find out what they are willing to accept.

Depending on the market conditions, this is a great way to make $20+ almost instantly.

Sell a Gift Card

Do you have a gift card lying around that you have no need for?

If so, consider selling it to popular gift card platforms, such as CardPool and . You can also check out these companies that will pay you almost instantly.

While you won’t get the full value for it, you can get up to 95% cash back almost instantly.  How much you get greatly depends on what gift cards you’re looking to sell as some are much more in demand than others.

Consider Hitting the Streets

If you have a talent of sorts and live a city with a lot of people, consider hitting the streets and entertaining for cash.

Whether it’s playing the guitar, dressing as a mascot or even doing magic, it could work if there’s enough people walking by willing to donate.

Before doing so, however, make sure you abide by local laws as every city has its own rules and regulations.

Final Thoughts

I’m not going to lie.  Making money in one hour is going to be a tough one, but it can be done with the right determination.
