Get Paid to Watch Movie Trailers Today

In the past, I talked about the many ways you can get rewarded to watch videos.

The problem with this post, however, is that the videos could be on anything, from a commercial to some boring 15-minute show.  You never know what you were getting yourself into.

In this post, I want to do something different, where I talk about the many legitimate websites that pay you to watch movie trailers and nothing else.

If you’re a fan of movies and want to know about the latest and greatest and get paid for your time, then it could be something to consider.   Keep in mind that these options will not pay a ton of cash.  In fact, don’t expect to quit your day job as you will probably make $5 to $10 per website, at most per month.

Below, I will list every website that only plays movie trailers and rewards you for your time.  As with all of my posts, every single one of these companies are 100% legitimate and will pay you once you’re allowed to do so.

With my intro out of the way, let’s dive in and explore the many websites/apps that will pay you starting today.

Get Paid to Watch Movie Trailers

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is one of the best ways to make money online almost immediately.  I dabble around with this website almost daily and easily make $3 to $10+ a day, no problem.  You can do the same, I promise you that!

While I only do surveys, you can also watch videos, some of which include movie trailers only.

To find them, you simply click on the “watch” tab on your dashboard and then skip the videos until you find one of interest.  The more you use the watch service and let them know what you like, the better the videos will be over time.

Keep in mind that this isn’t the best way to make money on Swagbucks.  I don’t do it and don’t really recommend it, but if you want to, no one is going to stop you, including me!

Consider signing up now as they are almost always offering a $5 bonus to new members.  Follow the link below for more information.

InboxDollars

InboxDollars offers a variety of ways to make money while watching videos.  It’s not much, but it could put a few bucks in your pocket.

I don’t use it as much as I should, but I have made $100 a month in the past completing surveys, etc.  Again, like Swagbucks, I usually don’t do the videos as I see no value in it.

If you do use this website, you will just have to make sure that you select the movie trailer options only as many of the video topics can vary.

Aside from videos, you can also earn with surveys, paid offers and even printing out coupons.  InboxDollars was founded in 2000 and was eventually bought out by Prodege, the same company that operates Swagbucks.  To date, they have paid out more than $60 million in rewards.

VolKno

Out of all the options I list here, VolKno could be the best one to consider as it lets you preview movie trailers as well as TV shows, video games and other relatable content.  In testing it out, you can earn $5 to $15 with very little effort.

To start earning, all you have to do is create a free account, watch the movie trailer and then provide your feedback to earn what’s known as “Flow.”  It reminds me a lot like SlicethePie, only that instead of analyzing music, you will watch videos.  After the movie trailer ends, you will write out your thoughts as detailed as you can.  You may also be asked to express your emotions while the trailer plays.

How much you earn depends on your activity and your feedback quality.  As long as you give quality feedback, you will earn “flow” faster.

iRazoo

iRazoo is another option that works much like Swagbucks and InboxDollars mentioned above.

The nice thing about iRazoo is that they make it easy to know which videos you can watch in which you can redeem for rewards.  For instance, when I logged into my dashboard, this is what it looked like…

You will want to make sure you select the “Movie Buzz” section to ensure you’re watching movie-related trailers only.

Again, you won’t make a ton, but it’s an option nonetheless.

AppTrailers

I wrote about AppTrailers in the past, and basically, it’s an app, rather than a desktop website, where you can make money watching movie trailers.  There are also other ways to earn cash as well, including playing games and more.

In my review, I found that the “movie trailer” videos weren’t really movie trailers most of the time.  Rather, they were videos of critics who talked about the movie.  For instance, here were a few of the videos I could watch…

It’s another option that can’t make you much, but it’s one to consider, especially if you want to make money from your phone.

Market Force

This one is a pinch different as you can’t do it from your home, but it will pay the most, sometimes as much as $30+.

Market Force is one of the many mystery shopping companies that will pay you to visit an establishment, a movie theater in this case, and pay you to attend a showing.  Most of the time, they want you to analyze your experience, from the cleanliness to the time it takes to get a movie ticket, etc.  Some jobs may require that you note how long the trailers were or how many patrons were inside the movie theater at the time of the showing.

While you will have to write a report at the end, it’s usually worth it as it shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to complete.

You can at least sign up to at least see what jobs are available in your area.  As you’re an independent contractor, you’re able to accept any job you want, most of which tell you exactly what’s expected of you before you accept the job.

Market Force is one of the larger mystery shopping companies that deal with movie theaters, the main reason I list it here, but there are many others that I will research in the future.

Checker

Checker is another mystery shopping company that primarily focuses on movie theater chains.

It’s another option where you have to get out of the house, but you will find these options tend to pay much more than online video options.  I’m talking up to $50+ per job.

To sign up, follow the link below and fill out an application to be considered.

Start Your Own Blog/YouTube Channel

It won’t make you money at first, but if you’re passionate about movies and want to get paid in reviewing them, consider starting your own blog and/or YouTube series.

This route can make you an endless amount of cash depending on how much you put into it.  It could even turn into a full-time job if you take it seriously.  I mean, look at the website you’re on right now.  I’m talking about what I love (money) and make money in doing it!  It’s really a great gig.

To learn more about how to start your own blog and become a success at what you do, there are so many awesome free resources you can start with, including the Income School guys on YouTube, Backlinko and Authority Hacker.  So, no, you don’t have to invest hundreds into a program to learn about how to succeed online.

If you take it seriously, never know what it could turn into.

Final Thoughts

Whether you want to watch movie trailers at home or a nearby movie theater, it is possible to make money in watching them.  However, you won’t get rich in doing so.  Plan on making maybe a few dollars a week if you do it online or about $30 to $50 for every movie theater visit.  I would consider it almost as a fun side hobby, nothing more.

If you want to get paid watching movie trailers, test out a few of the legitimate sources above to see how much you can make.  They are all free to join and you can earn rewards almost immediately.

As always, you’re more than welcome to share your experiences below as well as comment on the companies already mentioned.

For now, get to work and see if you can make some cash on the side!  Best of luck to you.
