RadioEarn.com Review: Get Paid to Listen to the Radio?

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

RadioEarn.com is one I have mentioned in the past in my 14+ ways to get paid to listen to music.  Yes, it is possible to get paid to listen music, but is it worth your time?

In today’s review, I want to dive in and review the website, letting you know how it works, what you can make and if it’s worth your time.  As in all of my reviews, I’m always honest, only recommending apps/websites that I would use.  I would never push something for monetary gain.  I don’t work like that here, I promise.

If you love to listen to the radio and you like the idea of making a few bucks, let’s see if it’s worth signing up.

What is RadioEarn.com?

The RadioEarn website will pay you to listen to their radio stations.  All you have to do is sign up (it’s free) and open up your radio link.  For every 15 minutes you listen, you can earn points in which can be later cashed out for Bitcoin, Amazon gift cards or even cash via bank wire.

RadioEarn is operated by T&B Web UG, a company that’s based in Germany.  I couldn’t find much in terms of its history, only that they listed their name in the website’s footer.

Signing up for RadioEarn

To sign up for RadioEarn.com, it’s as easy as following out the following form found on the official website:

All they ask of you is your name, an email address, a username as well as a password.  They don’t ask for much really.

Your RadioEarn Dashboard

After you register, you can immediately log into your account and start earning. It will look something like this:

As you can see, it’s fairly straightforward.  You can view your earnings in the last days, start earning (the most important tab) or you can add an API to your already existing website.  Lastly, you can exchange your points for cash using the “point exchange” tab.  I will get into this later on in this guide.

How to Earn Money Listening to Music

To start earning money listening to music with RadioEarn, all you have to do is click on the “start earning” tab and click on the “listen radio” tab.

After you click on the tab, you can then pick out a radio station of interest.

While I was writing this, I only had two options, an “RnB / HipHop / Rap” station and a “Happy listening / Pop” station.  Just click on the start radio and the website will log your time.  It’s very easy to understand.

When I listened to the station, most of what I heard were unknown artists.  You can only choose your genre, that’s it.

How Much Can I Make With RadioEarn?

The earnings tier is simple.  For every 15 minutes you listen, you will get 0.25 points or one point per hour.

Doing the math, it will take you 1,000 points to earn $3, according to the point exchange page.

So, what does this mean to you?

You will have to listen for 1,000 hours to earn $3.  That means $1 for every 333 hours!  That’s a lot of listening for such a low payout.

If you do earn the minimum amount, then you can request your payment, which can be paid out via a bank transfer, Amazon gift card or Bitcoin (BTC).  Payments can take up to 35 business days to complete.

The Pros and Cons

RadioEarn doesn’t seem to be that popular of a program, and it’s probably for a reason. However, I was able to find a few pros and cons, most of which I will list below.

The Pros

  • not much required on your part
  • listen to music

The Cons

  • you can’t pick out what you want to listen to
  • unknown artists
  • low paying
  • poor TrustPilot rating (2.3/5)
  • slow payouts, according to Reddit

Final Thoughts

2/10Meh.

If you want to listen to unknown artists for more than 1,000 hours to earn $3, then I say do it.  If you like background music, then sure, why not earn a few pennies.

RadioEarn will not make you rich.  Heck, it won’t even buy you a combo meal after a month.  That’s why I’m not going to recommend it.  Even though the premise sounds cool, I would just rather do a quick $3 survey on Swagbucks and call it a day.

As always, if you want to add anything to what I have already written and/or you want to comment on your experiences, then you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.
