Surveyrewardz Review: $0.50-$5 Surveys

SurveyRewardz is one I have mentioned before in my teen surveys guide as well as the many survey sites that pay via PayPal.  It’s one of the many survey websites in cyberspace that will pay you for your opinion.

SurveyRewardz, as the name proclaims, will reward you with rewards for every survey you complete.  They purely focus on surveys, so you won’t find any other ways to make money, such as completing offers, watching videos, etc.  This can be a good or bad thing for you because I have found offers to be very lucrative in my money-making ventures online.

At first glance, it seems as if it’s one of the many survey websites out there and there’s not much in terms of uniqueness.  However, it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t at least check it out.

In today’s review, I talk about my experience with SurveyRewardz.  Is it legit? Is it a scam? Should I even join?

As in all of my reviews, I tell you how it is, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Signing up for SurveyRewardz

To sign up and start working with SurveyRewardz, they will ask for some simple information, such as your name, birthday and zip code.  It’s not much, but like the many survey sites out there, they will ask that you fill out a profiler of sorts so that they can learn more about you.  Since these research companies are looking for particular demographics, it’s important to consider these questions as it will help increase your survey invitations and also help you from getting denied.

To be considered, you must reside in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Canada, and you must be at least 13 years or older.

The entire process takes one to two minutes at most, and immediately after confirming your e-mail address, you can access your dashboard, which will look something like this…

Dashboard

Here, you can either start taking surveys right away or you can complete your profile in detail so that you can receive even more invites.  All survey sites ask you to fill out a profile so that they can send you targeted invites.  And, while it’s optional, I have found that my survey invites have greatly increased when doing so.

The profile section, which you can see below, is quite detailed, as it will ask you a lot of questions.  Each question is super short, but if you answer a few questions every day, you will have it completed in no time.

While you can start performing the surveys noted, keep in mind that you won’t qualify for all of them.  My rule of thumb is that you will qualify for maybe 5 to 10% of the ones you click on.

The Surveys

The nice thing about SurveyRewardz is that they pay you a cash rate.  In the example above, you can see a seven-minute survey pays you $1.62.  That’s not bad.  From what I see, most of the surveys pay pretty nicely and many of the surveys take less than 10 minutes to complete.  However, you will see some surveys that will take much longer than that, but seeing it’s up to you as to what you want to do, you can pick and choose which surveys make sense.

How many surveys will I get?

On average, you can see upwards of 20 to 30+ invites a day, but this will depend on your demographic.  On average, SurveyRewardz appears to offer more invites than most survey sites I have reviewed.

How much do the surveys pay?

The screenshot above gives you an idea as to what they pay.  Usually, you will see most surveys paying $0.50 to $2.50+, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Rewards

At the moment, SurveyRewardz offers four reward options:

  • Amazon gift card, which starts at $10
  • GCodes, which start at $10, and can be redeemed as multiple retailers
  • PayPal, which starts at $5
  • Visa virtual gift card, which starts at $10

Seeing most people want the PayPal option, it should only take you a bit of an hour at most to earn that $5 to cash out.

All payouts are sent out within a week upon redemption.

The Pros

  • They have four fantastic reward options which start at $5.  This is one of the lowest thresholds in the industry
  • Seems to have a variety of survey options
  • Backed by a reputable company
  • Surveys can pay as much as $5
  • Available in the United States, Canada, Australia and UK
  • It’s 100% free to join

The Cons

  • I did read a lot of reports of non payment upon your first cash out, and some even noted they underpay and lie about survey payments
  • You won’t qualify for all of the surveys
  • F BBB rating if that matters to you
  • Customer support seems to be slow to respond

Final Thoughts

7/10In the end, I think SurveyRewardz is underrated.  They offer a ton of survey options and most pay at least $0.50 to $2.50, which is quite good in the survey world.  Sure, you won’t get rich, but if you want to make $3 to $10 a day using this site, I think it’s possible.  Again, it just depends on your demographic.  Remember to fill out that profile.

The company is operated by a legitimate company, so you can be assured you’re dealing with a reputable organization.  I feel it’s at least worth a shot, seeing it’s 100% free to sign up.

That’s going to wrap it up for now.

As always, if you want to comment on the company, you’re more than welcome to do so in the comments below.  Thanks for stopping by!
