Teen Surveys: Join These if You’re 13+

The problem with the many survey companies that I mention is that you need to be at least 18+ years old.  This can be quite the bummer for you if you’re younger than that.

Now, before you get all up in arms, thinking that there are no ways to make money online via surveys if you were younger than 18, I want to prove you wrong.

In today’s guide, I want to talk about the many paid survey companies that accept teenagers.  Yes, you heard me right.  As long as you’re older than 13+, there is a legal way to make money online.

As in all of my guides, I’m always honest and I only promote ethical, legitimate companies.  If you feel I’m promoting something that isn’t of value, I will make it right and remove it.  Just let me know.  In this guide, unlike many of the posts you may have found already, are open to teens, I promise you that.

With that out of the way, let’s take a look at the teen survey options available to you today.

Teen Surveys

NOTE:  You will never find an ethical survey panel for participants younger than 13+.  This is mainly due to COPPA, which is the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.  While there are some panels for participants younger than 13, you will need your parents to run it.

I’m putting LifePoints high on my list since you only need to be at least 14+ years old to join.  This is one of the better sites that accept younger teenagers.

If you’re looking to take surveys and earn a decent chunk every month, consider checking it out.  It’s free to join, so what do you have to lose?

I have been a member for about a year now and take surveys here and there.  I’ll be honest, it’s not my biggest money-maker, but if I were in the 14 to 17~ age range, it would be much higher on my list.  To get started, all you need to do is create an account and then take any surveys on your dashboard.  Keep in mind you won’t qualify for them all.

LifePoints only focuses on surveys, so that’s all you will find here, and best of all, they only require that you earn $5 in points to cash out.  That can easily be tackled in the next day if you take about 5~ surveys.  Plan on making about $5~ a week if you do sign up.

I mention Swagbucks a lot, and I do so because I use it almost daily.  I average about $3 to $5~ a day, and almost all of it comes from surveys.  Once in awhile I can snag a $50~ online focus group as well, it’s awesome.  To date, I have made over $1,000+.

Now, you’re not going to get rich using this platform, but as a teenager, I don’t think you’re looking for a full-time job as $50 a month may be more than enough. And, I think you can hit that mark if that’s how much you’re looking to make.

Thankfully, you only need to be at least 13+ years old to join Swagbucks and reside in one of the eligible countries.

Joining Swagbucks is 100% free, and you can get started immediately.  Be sure to follow my link below as you can get a $5 sign-up bonus if you meet the requirements!

Founded in 2011, OneOpinion is currently owned by Dynata, one of the most reputable research firms today.  They work with multiple Fortune 5000/500 companies and they need someone like you to help influence their future decisions.

To join OneOpinion, you only need to be 13+, and it’s easier than ever.  Just fill out the registration form and following the directions to get started.  It only takes a minute.

Once you have 25,000 points, about $25 in value, you can redeem it for many options, including Amazon gift cards, etc.

With SurveySavvy, you can take a variety of surveys, some paying as much as $250+, and then request a check.

The nice thing about SurveySavvy is that they don’t have a confusing points system.  It’s simply a dollar amount and you earn what you see.

Once you hit $1 in rewards, you can then request a check to be sent to your home.  You must be at least 13+ to join.

PrizeRebel works with a lot of third-party survey routers, which means a lot of surveys for you to do.  Whenever I log in, I can find hundreds of opportunities, and I’m sure you can too. As I’m writing this, they have $678 in paid surveys online available.

To date, the company has paid out more than $22 million to more than 10.9 million of its members.

You can join as a teenager, but they do note you must be at least 16+.  In the case you are 16 to 18 years old, you will need parental permission, which simply means you have to check a corresponding box that your parents agree to the terms.  It’s nothing crazy.

PrizeRebel is 100% free and only takes 10 seconds to do.

Branded Surveys

Take multiple surveys to earn points to cash out for a myriad of gift card options, ranging from Amazon to Target and Walmart.  The company was founded in 2012, formerly known as MintVine.

You only need to be 16+ years old and reside in the United States to join.  According to the terms, you must have parental consent to participate.

E-Poll Surveys

E-Poll Surveys is one of the older panels, founded in 1997.  This platform is opened to members older than 13+ who are looking to have fun in interactive ways.  The company offers a variety of survey options, from your traditional point and click surveys to video and mobile surveys.

For as little as $5 in points, you can redeem your rewards for a variety of gift cards, including Amazon, Starbucks and GameStop, to name a few.  PayPal is an option as well.

YouGov is known as one of the leading research companies in the world, with more than six million members.  Most of their survey results are cited by prominent media organizations.

Most of the surveys here range from 200 to 500 points and are much different than your traditional surveys.  Many tend to deal with current events so you may find them interesting.  The minimum redemption is $15, about 35,000 points.

To join as a YouGov member, you only need to be 16+.

SurveyRewardz is one of the world’s most popular market research communities, paying people like you, as well as thousands of its other members, to answer online survey questions.  It’s as simple as answering survey questions and getting rewarded with a variety of gift card options.

To join, you only need to be 13+, but you do need parental consent to join, so be sure to ask your parents.

Valued Opinions

Established in 2004, Valued Opinions, a survey panel operated by Dynata, one of the biggest research companies in the world, offers survey opportunities for members 13 or older.

Most of the surveys offered here range in value from $1 to $5, with reward options starting at $10.  Typical surveys take 10 minutes to complete.

This panel is offered in more than 20 countries.

Toluna Influencers was launched in 2000, noted as one of the most established survey sites in the world.  It houses millions of members and you only need to be 16+ years old to join.

The company pays out points for every survey you complete, with awards ranging anywhere from as little as 15 to more than 40,000+ points each.

Gift card redemptions start at as little as $10 in points.

Rewards1 mainly works with third-party survey routers, so you won’t find anything unique here.  It doesn’t make it a bad thing, though.

To join this platform, you do need to be at least 13+ years old and have your parent’s permission.

Once you reach at least $5 in points, you can cash out for a variety of rewards, including gift cards and PayPal.

American Consumer Opinion

American Consumer Opinion is a household name in the survey industry, with more than seven million members worldwide.  And, to become a member of the American Consumer Opinion panel, you only need to be 14+ years old.

The company pays out points for every survey you complete, with compensation ranging from five to 5,000+ points.  Like most survey sites, it greatly depends on the survey length.  The longer the survey is, the more you can make.

PayPal and Hyperwallet are redemption options once you meet the minimum threshold.

Kidz Eyes

Kidz Eyes is one I have reviewed in the past.  As the name proclaims, it’s an online program designed for kids 6-12.  All surveys conducted here are geared toward kids in this demographic.

While you can be younger than 12, you will need your parent’s permission if you were interested.

Survey Squad

The Survey Squad, powered by Focus Forward, provides a survey panel for members older than 13.  They were founded in 2003, bringing together people who want to share their opinions.

Aside from your traditional surveys, the company will pay you to partake in mobile surveys, phone surveys and even in-person surveys, some paying as much as $300.  It’s one of the higher paying opportunities on the list.

Once you reach 20,000 points, about $20 in value, a check will be mailed to your address on file.

Gift Hunter Club

The Gift Hunter Club works with a variety of third-party offer walls as well as other ways to earn money.  When I logged in, I saw a ton of survey opportunities, so you should be able to keep busy for some time.

You do need to be 14+ years old and it appears you can join anywhere in the world.

MySoapBox is another popular survey option, open to participants who are older than 13+ years old.

This isn’t my favorite on the list, the reason I’m putting it toward the bottom, however, it’s an option to consider.

The company offers a variety of reward redemptions, with some payouts as low as $1.

Final Thoughts

If you’re older than 13+ years old, there are many survey panels you can join, as you can see.  Again, all of the panels noted above are 100% legitimate and will pay you out as long as you meet the minimum threshold (and follow the rules, of course).

To sign up, it’s simple.  Just provide your personal information and answer the surveys that show up on your panel’s dashboard.  Granted, you won’t qualify for all of them, but you should earn something.  It’s not hard at all, I promise.

In the end, don’t plan on getting rich.  Instead, you’re probably going to make $20, $50,  or maybe $100+ a month, all depending on who you sign up with and which surveys you take.  You can make money, though.

As always, I’m open to other suggestions.  If I’m missing any options or you want to comment on the companies I mentioned, then, by all means, feel free to give me a shout out in the comments section below.
