Is Wood Block Master App Legit? (review)

The Wood Block Master app is a “classic and wood-style block” game, only that you can win “big” prizes.  It’s quite popular, as it has more than 500,000 downloads and an okay 4.3/5 rating on the Google Play Store.

It’s one of the many puzzle-like games on the app store and they make it seem so easy that you can win money playing a game.  Sure, while some of these apps can pay, the only problem is that they don’t pay all that much.  I’m talking less than a few dollars a month if you play aggressively.

Can you make money with this one?  Not really, but it could be something, as I’m about to explain.

Whether you’re looking for a new game to play that rewards you or you heard about Wood Block Master and want to know more about it, let’s see if this game is worth your time.

What is Wood Block Master?

The Wood Block Master game is a puzzle game where you cut blocks of wood with the goal of filling in a vertical or horizontal line.  The more blocks you cut and fill, the higher your score will be.

Picture it almost like a Tetris rip off with the only difference that you may be rewarded for every level you complete.

The app is operated by Insoft Inc, an Android developer that seemed to start in 2021.  They are not to be confused by the software company that was affiliated with the old internet browser, Netscape.

How to Earn Money

To earn money, you will have to simply play the game, and your goal is to fill an entire line of “wood.”

As you play, you can earn items, such as a hammer or a “replacement,” which all help you beat the levels faster.

As you level up, you can earn coins, which are added to your balance, and these very coins can be used to cash out.  I will get into that next.  Throughout the puzzle, you can also earn coins by watching ads if you click on a treasure chest as it passes by the screen. Every day you check in, you can get coins as well.

What you will find with most of these apps is that there are a lot of ads.  This is how they are going to make money and they will do anything in their power to get you to watch them.  Without these views, they won’t get paid.

Whenever you finish a wood line or even a level, they make you watch an ad.  If you don’t, you don’t get your coins.

Redeeming Rewards

There are different rewards to cash out, but when I was playing, I didn’t see any options.  All I could do is cash out for a variety of perks that help you in the game, such as a “hammer,” etc.

However, in the past, I did see that you could cash out via PayPal, but you needed at least $150 in rewards to cash out.  This is a lot, but it’s very commonplace with games like this.

What a lot of these games do is that they sucker you in the beginning, making it seem like you’re making a lot.  However, when you get toward the threshold, your earnings trickle to a stop and you never reach the end, unfortunately.  This is the case here, so even if you see a PayPal reward, you will never get it.

Final Thoughts

0/10In the end, skip out on this game 100%.  They will never pay and you’re just going to watch a ton of ads.  It’s unethical and it’s just a waste of time.

Again, while there are games that do pay, you won’t even make much with those.  You’re much better off completing offers or surveys. These don’t pay much, either, but it’s a lot better than a few dollars a month.

That does it for now.
