If you’re looking for a quick way to earn some money, online survey panels are often an option. Datatelligence is one of these panels, but there are a few things you should know before diving in.

Datatelligence is one of the many websites where you can make some extra cash if you’re in the US via surveys. But keep in mind, it’s not going to make you rich since the opportunities to earn are quite limited, at least from what I found when playing around with it.

Yes, Datatelligence is a legitimate survey site that rewards its members for taking part in surveys; however, just because it’s legitimate, it isn’t the only thing you should consider.  When deciding to join any online survey panel, including Datatelligence, you should think about several factors.

In this review, I will help you understand whether Datatelligence is really worth your time. By the end, you should be able to decide whether joining this site is the right move for you.

As in all of my reviews, I’m 100% honest, only recommending what I feel is worth your time.

Let’s begin!

How to Join

Joining is pretty straightforward. You just need to fill out their registration form. After that, keep an eye on your email. You will then get a confirmation link to activate your membership. Once that’s done, you can hop onto the dashboard and start taking surveys.

Here’s a tip for when you first log in. Make sure to complete your profile survey. This little step can help you get more survey offers down the line. And, as a new member, you should get 150 points just for signing up.

At the moment, you must reside in the USA and be 18+ years old.

What is Datatelligence?

Datatelligence is an online community where people like you and me share our thoughts on various products and services.  When you share your thoughts, they reward you for your opinions.

At Datatelligence, paid surveys are the main way to make some money. And, it’s pretty straightforward, as all you have to do is share your opinions through surveys and get paid for it. Once you’re part of their panel, you will see a dashboard full of survey opportunities. Each one comes with details like how long it will take and the points you’ll earn.  This is fairly standard amongst the many survey panels out there.

What’s really cool about Datatelligence is their survey process. You don’t have to go through those annoying qualifying questions. They directly take you to the survey, ensuring that if you see a survey offer, you’re already qualified. This way, you’re guaranteed to earn points for each survey you complete. It’s a smooth and efficient system, quite unlike many other survey sites out there.  It works a lot like Prolific if you’re already part of this platform.

So, if you see a survey on your dashboard, you’re ready to go. Just answer the questions honestly, and those points are yours. It’s a simple and effective way to earn a bit on the side, especially if you enjoy sharing your thoughts on various topics.

How Much Can I Earn?

Your earnings largely depend on the number of survey offers you get. The more surveys you complete, the more you’ll earn. It’s that simple.  This can be said about any survey site, really.

From what I saw, the payment for each survey is pretty fair. It’s not super high, but it’s not too low either. In comparison to other survey sites, Datatelligence does a decent job in terms of how much they pay per survey.

Again, as mentioned, for every survey you take, you’re certain to get points. This is quite different from many other survey sites where you often have to go through a bunch of qualifying questions first. Datatelligence cuts right to the chase and lets you dive into the actual survey without any preliminary hassle.

This approach makes earning points a lot smoother. If you’re lucky enough to get a good number of survey offers, you could rack up a decent amount of points. However, don’t set your hopes too high on getting a ton of surveys. The number you receive might not be as many as you’d like.

Your demographics do matter, so it’s hard to give a definite answer.  From my experience, I think you can only earn a few dollars a month since you should only see a few invites per month.

Getting Paid

Every time you complete a survey, you earn points. You can accumulate these points and then swap them for rewards. When I was writing this review, the main reward they offer is a $10 Amazon gift card. To get this reward, you need 1000 points.

One thing you will notice about Datatelligence is its reward system’s lack of variety. The only reward up for grabs, again, while I was writing this, was the Amazon gift card. This limitation might be a bit of a bummer if you’re looking for more options. But if you’re a regular Amazon shopper, it could work out well for you.

Besides points, sometimes you will get entries into their monthly sweepstakes. I don’t really count these as a regular earning method because winning them is based on luck. Think of it more as a nice little extra for taking part in their surveys. If you do win, a representative will get in touch with you. The prizes are typically cash, and sometimes they can be quite substantial.  I just wanted to mention is as you can earn additional points if you win.

One thing I feel Datatelligence could improve on is their payment options. Having a more convenient choice like PayPal would be a great addition. It would make things a lot easier for those who prefer cash over gift cards.

The Pros:

  • opportunity to test products at home
  • fair compensation for most surveys

The Cons:

  • customer service seems inconsistent
  • inconsistency with rewarded
  • tech issues
  • limited surveys

Final Thoughts

Datatelligence is 100% legit and does reward you for taking part in their surveys. Like any site, it’s got its ups and downs.

They have a relatively low payout threshold, which is great. Plus, you don’t have to jump through hoops to qualify for surveys.  However, they don’t do payments through PayPal. The earning opportunities are somewhat limited, and the panel is only open to those in the US.

Datatelligence could be a nice side gig if you’re in the US, thanks to its easy point-earning process. But let’s be real, it’s not going to make you rich due to its limited options for earning.  I’m talking maybe a few dollars per month.

Now, if you’re hunting for a site that can help you earn a bit more significantly and maybe become your main source of online earnings, you might want to check out the top survey sites in your country. These sites typically offer a variety of ways to earn, giving you a better shot at making a decent amount. Plus, you’re more likely to find a site that suits your specific needs, no matter where you’re based.

In the end, it’s could be something to check out, but I don’t think it will be the best survey site out there.

That does it for now.
