Free PayPal money? Is that even possible?
Yes, but with a little work. It won’t be as easy as clicking a button and finding $50 in your account. I only wish it were that easy!
In today’s post, I wanted to talk about the many ways you can get free PayPal money with very little effort. All of the options I’m about to list are 100% honest and only take minutes to join And, yes, it’s legal with no hacks required. If you work hard enough, you could have money in your PayPal account in as little as 60 minutes.
Whether you need $1 or $50+, many of these options should work for you. Take a gander at the list below and figure out which ones work for you.
How to Get Free Money on PayPal (Almost Instantly)
Swagbucks
I promote Swagbucks all over this website, and it’s for a good reason.
I personally use them and continue to do so to this day. Almost every day, I log in and easily make $200+ a month. And, if you don’t believe me, here are my most recent orders for the month…
Swagbucks has a TON of gift card options, as well as PayPal, too. The only reason I chose a variety of these gift cards as seen above is that I needed some Christmas gifts, so it really worked out. Other than that, I usually get Amazon gift cards and PayPal cash.
If you’re not familiar with Swagbucks, it’s simply a platform that pays you to complete surveys, complete offers, watch videos, play games and so much more. There’s a lot to do, but for me, most of my money relies in the surveys. As I write this, this is what my survey dashboard looked like…
Every “SB” is worth a penny, so that 4,500 SB was worth $45, whereas that 175 SB was worth $1.75. Just make sure you pick out a survey that’s worth your time and you should make some decent money.
I’m telling you now. Swagbucks is the best way to earn money RIGHT NOW. You won’t get rich, but I swear you can easily make $100+ a month if you log in every day.
Signing up is 100% free, and in following my link below, you can get a free $5 for joining.

Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is another one of my favorites, one of which I mention so many times on this website.
The cool thing about Survey Junkie is that they focus on surveys only and nothing else. It’s very easy to use and can earn you quite a bit every month if you check in daily.
You do need at least $10 to cash out, but honestly, the company always has so many survey opportunities that you could earn it within a day. I mean, check out my dashboard as I write this…
These were just nine of the many surveys I could take right now, one of which paid $3.50. Granted, you won’t always qualify for all, but you should be able to complete at least 30%. It greatly depends on your demographic.
In many cases, your payment is almost instant, making for a great way to get free PayPal cash fast.
- Website: Survey Junkie
Branded Surveys
Branded Surveys is yet another larger research company that rewards you with points every time you take a survey.
To get started, all you need to do is fill out your personal profile and wait for the survey invites to arrive on your dashboard. How many you receive greatly depends on your demographics.
The company offers a variety of rewards, including PayPal cash and generally processes your payment within 24 to 48 hours. It’s 100% free to join and check out!
- Website: Branded Surveys
PrizeRebel
I wrote about PrizeRebel in the past and found it to be a great option if you’re looking for free PayPal cash.
Like many of the sites I mention on this list, PrizeRebel will reward you to take surveys, complete offers and even watch videos, with most of your money made in the surveys. Answer a few questions and get rewarded for your time.
The great thing about PrizeRebel is that you only need $2 to cash out. In many cases, this can be accomplished in as little as 30 minutes, if that. Once you reach a gold level or higher, you can get your cash in less than 10 minutes!
- Website: PrizeRebel
MyPoints
MyPoints is owned by the same company as Swagbucks, Proedge, and works in the same way.
The company will pay you to shop, take surveys, watch videos and even play games. There’s quite a bit to do.
While the points system can be tricky to understand, as I mentioned in my review, you will need at least 3,970 points, equivalent to $25 in PayPal cash. Out of all the rewards, PayPal is one of the higher redemption rates as there are some gift cards for as little as $3. So, don’t think you need $25 to cash out.
- Website: MyPoints
InstaGC
As the name implies, InstaGC offers instant rewards, one of the few GPT companies online that do so.
Like the many I list here, InstaGC will reward you to download apps, shop, take surveys, complete offers and much, much more.
The only downfall is that you do need to complete at least $50 in offers before you can get PayPal access, but once you do, you can cash out for as little as $1.
I wrote about InstaGC in depth and found them to be a great option to add to your making money online list.
- Website: InstaGC
InboxDollars
InboxDollars works much like Swagbucks, only that I don’t find as many surveys here and the minimum pay is quite high at $30.
Here, you can complete surveys, sign up for offers, play games, search the internet and much more to earn cash.
InboxDollars only pays out cash, and once you hit that minimum, you can have that cash sent to your PayPal account.
- Website: InboxDollars
Opinion Outpost
Opinion Outpost is another survey-only website, similar to that to Survey Junkie. In my review I wrote in the past, I found they sent just as many survey opportunities that Survey Junkie did.
Aside from surveys, Opinion Outpost also has sweepstakes opportunities, wherein you can win thousands of dollars every quarter. They even have a badge system, allowing you to earn even more rewards as you use the system over time.
You will need at least $10 in points to cash out via PayPal.
- Website: Opinion Outpost
GrindaBuck
GrindaBuck works a lot with your most popular third-party “offerwalls,” offering a variety of ways to earn. In fact, while I write this, they had more than 12+ companies you could make money with.
Like most of these websites I mention, most of your money will be made in the surveys, but there are other opportunities as well, such as watching videos, completing offers and even playing games.
Once you earn at least $2.50 in points, GrindaBuck allows you to cash out. Payments are sent out within 24 hours.
- Website: GrindaBuck
GrabPoints
GrabPoints will reward you to perform a variety of activities, from watching videos to downloading apps, taking surveys and more. Yes, it’s yet another option wherein you can earn free PayPal cash.
This is another company I wrote about the in past, and I actually found them to be one of the higher paying companies in the industry, so it’s one to at least consider.
To cash out via PayPal, you will only need $3 worth of points, which shouldn’t take you that long, seeing there are always a ton of $1+ survey opportunities available.
- Website: GrabPoints
SurveyTime.io
SurveyTime is very unique in that it will pay you $1 immediately after filling out a survey, no matter what it is! Yes, every survey is worth $1, no matter what.
I recently did a review on them and found them to be a great option if you’re looking to earn a few extra bucks a month.
As there is no minimum payout, you can earn money within the hour.
- Website: SurveyTime.io
PaidViewpoint
PaidViewpoint only focuses on surveys and is another great alternative if you’re looking for an easy-to-use system.
Every single survey that’s sent to you will pay you, no matter what, with the amount you get paid depending upon how many questions you answer. I use it frequently and earn about $0.10 to $1.50~ per survey taken.
This company is quite popular in the making money online world and can easily net you $5 in PayPal cash every month. All payments are sent within 72 hours.
- Website: PaidViewpoint
Prolific
Prolific works with some of the world’s top companies and universities. It’s a pinch different than most of the survey/research companies I mention in a few ways.
For one, your answers are sent to a researcher, in which he or she can approve or deny. In the case they deny, you don’t get rewarded. This can be annoying to some as it can take up to 21 days to get approved; however, most researchers approve your answers within 72 hours. But, for the good part, Prolific does pay at least $6.50 per hour, which isn’t much but is one of the higher guaranteed rates in the research world.
Prolific does pay out via PayPal, and you will need at least $6.50 to request it. It can take up to five business days to receive your cash. Check out my Prolific review to see how the app/website works in detail.
- Website: Prolific
1Q
1Q is a very simple app. They text you a simple question, you answer and you then get rewarded with $0.25 every time you do so.
The company pays out almost instantly and is a great way to earn a few bucks on your phone.
If using it, however, just make sure you’re fast as there’s a time limit that can make you miss out on some. The link below will take you to the official Google Play app download.
- Website: 1Q
Surveys on the Go
Surveys on the Go is a very popular survey app that rewards you to answer survey, many of which come from Fortune 500 companies. If you do decide to download it, just make sure that you turn your notifications on so that you’re alerted of any new opportunities.
On average, members earn about $10 a month, sometimes more, depending on the demographic.
The app has more than one million downloads with a fantastic 4.6 out of 5 rating on the Google Play store.

How to Get Free Money on Paypal (No Surveys)
If you’re the type that doesn’t like taking surveys to earn free money on PayPal, I understand.
In this section, I will talk about the many companies that will reward you with PayPal cash for completing various tasks. No surveys required!
Dosh
Like Ibotta, you can only earn PayPal cash with Dosh only when you’re shopping.
However, unlike Ibotta, Dosh is much easier to use as all you have to do is link a credit card that you use and that’s it. It’s a set it and forget it app that I highly recommend.
Every time you make a qualified purchase, the app will automatically send money back to your account, sometimes up to 10%, making for a very smooth process.
You will need at least $25 to request a withdrawal.
- Website: Dosh
Ibotta
I have mentioned Ibotta a few times, particularly in my how to get free groceries and cheap school supplies hack posts. It’s a great app that simply rewards you to shop as you normally would.
In short, this app will reward you to shop. While you will have to go out to the store to technically earn free PayPal cash, it’s one to at least consider since I’m sure you’re shopping anyway, right?
To use it, you can scan your receipts after you shop and/or link your shopper cards for certain stores to automatically get cash back.
Every time you make a purchase that qualifies, Ibotta will reward you, adding cash to your account. Once you earn $20, you can cash out via PayPal.
When you log into the app, check out the many items you can purchase to get a certain amount back. There are usually hundreds of items to choose from.

Gigwalk
Gigwalk is an app you can use while you’re out and about.
To become a “Gigwalker,” you just download the app and find a gig near you. I don’t use this app as much as I used to, but most of the jobs require that you visit a store and usually perform an audit. It can vary anywhere from taking a picture of a display to counting items.
Nonetheless, the app is very easy to use as it will tell you exactly what you need to do with a job to get paid. You get to choose the jobs you want and can work at any time.
Once your gigs are approved, you can request a payout, with the money sent directly to your PayPal account.
- Website: Gigwalk
Field Agent
Field Agent is another app that works just like Gigwalk, only that I found it to be more user friendly.
This is another app that you can use on the go, paying up to $10+ a job in some cases.
From taking pictures of a display to even trying out food, there’s quite the variety of jobs available. The app is free to download, so at least check out the jobs in your area to see if anything is of interest. It’s a great way to earn $20 pretty fast if you live in a busier town.
- Website: Field Agent
Receipt Hog
Unlike Ibotta, wherein you can only upload certain receipts to get paid, Receipt Hog will pay you to upload any receipt.
To use, just download the app, make it a habit to scan any receipt you have and get rewarded in doing so. I talked about the app in detail in a review I wrote in the past. It’s pretty easy to use.
To cash out, you will need at least $5 worth of receipts to receive your PayPal cash.
- Website: Receipt Hog
Shopkick
Shopkick is a cool app that earns you “kicks” for performing a variety of tasks inside stores, ranging from simply walking into a store to scanning a specific barcode.
No matter where you live, there are always a ton of jobs, making it very easy to pad your balance.
The app offers a ton of free gift card rewards, but PayPal is an option as well. You just need $5 in kicks to redeem your PayPal cash.
- Website: Shopkick
SlicethePie
If you love music and know how to write a review, you may want to give the very popular website, SlicethePie a shot.
This website will pay you to listen and review music, TV show snippets and even movie trailers. All you need to do is listen or watch for a few seconds and then write out your thoughts.
You can maybe make up to $8+ an hour if you get good enough, but again, don’t expect to get rich. Test it out to see how much you could potentially make. It’s pretty fun!
- Website: SlicethePie
Sweatcoin
Sweatcoin is a unique app in that it will reward you to simply walk. Yes, walk as you normally would and the app will reward you, usually for every 1,000 steps you take.
Now, the bad thing about it is that you won’t get rich. In fact, expect to make a few bucks a year.
While the app does pay out via PayPal, it’s only at random as they do run out of stock on occasions, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. It is a payment option, however.
To learn how the app works, I did write about it in detail in the past, so I do recommend you at least check it out if you’re interested in making money while you walk. You can also check out these 10+ apps that work like Sweatcoin if it’s of interest to you.
- Website: Sweatcoin
UserTesting.com
If you want to find something different than taking surveys, then you may want to look into something called UserTesting.com. This is another company I have mentioned quite a few times on this site.
How it works is that you will be asked to test out an app, application or website and provide your feedback as you’re using it in real-time. As long as you’re comfortable recording your voice and face, then you shouldn’t have a problem earning cash.
UserTesting pays $10 for every 20-minute test you complete, and the great thing is that you can get PayPal money sent out a week after you complete your project.
It’s free to join and is well received in the “make money online” community. It’s definitely one to check out.
- Website: UserTesting.com
Viggle
Viggle is cool in that it will reward you as you’re watching your favorite TV show.
To earn points, you check into any live TV programming at the moment, all while having your app opened. During the show, interact with the app, such as answering trivia questions, to earn your points.
Once you earn enough points, you can then cash out with more than 800+ rewards, one of which is PayPal.

Final Thoughts
As you can see, there are so many ways to get free PayPal money. All legitimately, of course.
Sure, while you have to work for it, it’s not as bad as you think. In many cases, you just have to answer a few simple questions or maybe upload a few receipts. Heck, you can even combine a few of them and earn even more.
How much you can earn really depends on how much effort you put into it. If you log in every day and work hard, you can easily earn $300+ a month, no problem. But, if you just log in here and there, don’t complain to me if you can barely reach your $5 minimum payout.
All of the options are 100% free, and I highly recommend you at least browse through a few of them to see which ones work for you. Be sure to start from the top as I listed some of my favorites up there. Yes, you can make a few bucks right now!
For now, get off this post, start signing up for those websites and perform a few online tasks to start earning your PayPal cash. I promise you it’s not as hard as you think!
