101+ Non-Phone Work From Home Jobs (All Screened)

Some of the links may be from a sponsor. Advertising Disclosure

The problem with a lot of work at home gigs is that you often need a phone and a quiet place in order to qualify.  While there’s nothing wrong with this, it can be a burden for some.

Whether you hate the idea of talking to people over the phone and/or it’s for another reason, then let it be known there are many ways to make money without the need for a phone.

As with any post I write here, I always try to be as in-depth as possible with ways to make money so what you’re going to find is that some of these jobs can be considered as a part-time or full-time opportunity, whereas some are kind of work at your own pace.  I’m going to try my best to only include the companies that seem to always be hiring.

And, as with a lot of these work-at-home gigs, especially those that require no experience, keep in mind that you won’t get rich.  In fact, some of these jobs may not even pay the bills.  Just keep that mind.

For now, let’s dive in and take a look at all of the non-phone work from home opportunities you can take advantage of right now.

NOTE:  These are all jobs you can do from home only.  You will find some non-phone work from home job posts online that often list jobs that can be done outside of the home, such as Uber, etc.  All jobs posted below can be done at home and no phone is required, I promise.  Most of these companies are often hiring, but if you want to search for even more companies, I recommend Flexjobs, a remote job search engine that screens all at-home working opportunities.

101+ Non-Phone Work From Home Jobs Hiring Now

Get Paid to Research

Swagbucks

This is one of my favorite ways to make money online.  Granted, you won’t get rich, but you can make $100+ with them if you work with it daily.

Like all of these companies, Swagbucks works in the same way, where you can get paid to answer survey questions mostly, but they have other earning opportunities as well.  I just found the survey list to always be neverending, offering the best compensation.

Again, it’s super simple.

Click on a survey of interest, answer the questions if you qualify and get rewarded for your time.

Signing up is 100% free, and honestly, you can start working in as little as five minutes.

Branded Surveys

Branded Surveys is another company, wherein you can earn points for every survey you complete.  You won’t get rich answering questions, but it’s not unheard of to earn $10+ a month, sometimes much, much more.  It just depends on how hard you work at it.

The number of surveys you receive greatly depends on your personal profile, as with any research company.

Sign up (it’s free), fill out your personal profile, and based on this information, they will send you survey invites, which reward you with points.  You can then take these points to redeem for a variety of rewards, including gift cards and cash.

Pinecone Research

As one of the best-paying survey panels on the internet, Pinecone Research simply compensates you at least $3 per survey in most cases.

Aside from taking surveys, members can also test products and even participate in focus groups for even more cash.  Yet more ways to earn cash on the side.

Use the link below as a lot of the times the company does ask for a referral link if you’re a first-time member.

Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost is said to be the premier paid online survey community where you can answer survey questions in exchange for money and rewards, much like the other research companies I already mentioned.

Every day, companies rely on consumers like you and I and they need our help providing feedback.

Simply load your survey, answer the questions and get rewarded for your time.  Again, you won’t get rich, but it’s a nice way to at least supplement your already existing income.

Joining is 100% free and you can start earning cash in a matter of minutes.

E-Poll

If you like to shop and enjoy entertainment, then E-poll encourages you to apply as a researcher.

Signing up is 100% free, and like the many research companies, it’s yet another reputable company that rewards you to simply answer questions.

Fill out your demographic profile, wait for the survey invites and answer them as they come in to earn cold hard cash.  To learn more, I did write about them in this non-biased review, so I encourage you to check htem out if interested.

Springboard America

As a Springboard America member, you can get paid just for answering simple research questions.  That’s it.

Sign up today, get approved and you could be earning in as little as five minutes.

This isn’t meant to be a job opportunity; rather, a nice way to supplement your income, sometimes as much as $100+ for the month.

NOTE:  This is just a few of the many companies willing to pay you to answer questions.  If you like the idea of getting paid for your opinions, then I recommend you check out my 80+ best survey companies online right now.

Chat/Email Customer Support

Apple

Yes, Apple, one of the world’s richest companies, is almost always hiring at-home chat agents.

An “At Home Advisor” is responsible for answering questions about products and services, all while providing exemplary support.

Benefits are included, and much like a job, a schedule is required.  Use the link below to see if any openings are active right now.  Probably one of the best at-home chat gigs out of them all.

Arise

Arise works with multiple Fortune 500 companies, providing work-at-home opportunities for call centers, including chat agents.

Set your own schedule and make up to $14 per hour.

The Chat Shop

Unlike a lot of customer service jobs that deal with talking over the phone, The Chat Shop is different as you only communicate via text chats.

The company provides all of the training and asks that you can type at least 65+ WPM, commit to at least 20+ hours a week and have a strong ability to multi-task.

More skills are required, all of which you can find about via the careers link below.

LiveWorld

A LiveWorld customer service agent will perform various tasks, including social customer service, engagement for marketing purposes and protecting a brand’s image.

As a part-time option, agents are said to make up to $15 an hour, with overnight and weekend shifts available.

The company does ask that you have at least two to three years of customer service experience, with one year of experience working in a call center environment.  Follow the link below to apply.

OutPLEX

Many top brands rely on OutPLEX for their live chat services.

And, as a live chat agent with OutPLEX, you will be responsible for answering customer queries, resolving disputes and escalating issues through the proper channels.

No experience seems to be necessary, but the company does ask that you can type at least 30 to 50 words per minute.

Follow the careers link page below to see if any positions are open right now.

SiteStaff

The company isn’t always hiring, but they do hire chat hosts on occasion, also letting you submit your application for future jobs.

You must be able to type at least 60 WPM and have a reliable computer/internet connection.

Follow the link below to send in your application if interested.

Complete Small Tasks

Clickworker

If you’re familiar with mturk, a company I will mention later on, Clickworker works in the same way.

Basically, you will be asked to complete very short tasks posted by companies online, all of which pay $0.01 to $0.10+ each.  The pay may sound low, yes, but once you get good enough, you can earn an okay hourly salary.

You can work at your own pace at any time of the day.  No strings attached.

microWorkers

Get started right away as a “microworker,” completing small tasks, ranging from validating an address to translating a shopping receipt.

Take a look at the official website to see what kind of jobs are available to get an idea as to what jobs are available.

Like most of these small task-like websites, you get to work whenever you want as well as choose the jobs that are of interest to you.

mTurk

mTurk, operated by Amazon, is one of the most popular ways people make money online.

Known as a crowdsourcing marketplace, companies can list just about any task that they need to be completed online, but in general, they tend to be relatively quick tasks that take a minute or so complete.  For example, a task could be transcribing text from a receipt or judging a picture.  It’s quite diverse, to be honest.

While each task pays $0.01 to $0.10, people who get good at it can often earn up to $10+ per hour, but again, this can take some time to learn how the system works.

To get started, Amazon has a variety of great books online that teach you how to start making money with the program.

RapidWorkers

RapidWorkers is a crowdsourcing service that works much like mTurk.

All of the jobs posted often pay less than $0.15, but they only take a few seconds to do.

Again, get good at finding the right tasks and it could be a great way to supplement your income at home.

Smart Crowd

Operated by Lionbridge, the company offers you the ability to earn money by completing small tasks, similar to that of mturk and Clickworker.

You can work anytime you want and complete as many tasks as you choose.  It’s as flexible as it gets.

To start, they simply ask that you fill out a profile so that they can get to know you better and send you tasks that match your skill level.

Hi! My name is Tom Nathaniel, and I created LushDollar to help share my honest thoughts on everything money. You won't find gimmicks here. It's the Internet's most honest money site after all. I graduated from Arizona State University, and I have worked in the finance industry since 2006, consulting with multiple Fortune 5000 companies.
